Abstract

Geography symptoms are one of the materials in lectures intended for elementary school teacher education students at the Open University. Not infrequently, students feel difficulty in understanding the lesson. To increase students' understanding of geographical phenomena, augmented reality learning media was developed to improve student learning outcomes in this material. This research is research on the development of instructional media with the help of experimental research to see the effectiveness of its application. The sample was 90 elementary school teacher education students at the Open University. The results show that augmented reality is proven effective in increasing student learning outcomes in geographic phenomena in social studies. It is recommended that lecturers who teach material on geographic phenomena use this augmented reality learning media to support learning.

Abstract

Pelatihan pengembangan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis website menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi guru SMK Plus An-Nuur dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan melaksanakan pelatihan tersebut dengan fokus pada pengembangan bahan ajar yang interaktif dan berbasis website. Metode pelatihan melibatkan pendekatan praktis dan interaktif, memungkinkan guru untuk memahami konsep, perancangan, dan implementasi bahan ajar berbasis website. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar interaktif. Para peserta juga termotivasi untuk mengembangkan Bahan Ajar Interaktif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah. Evaluasi partisipan juga menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi terhadap pelatihan ini. Diharapkan hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi institusi pendidikan lain dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pelatihan serupa, serta meningkatkan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran di lingkungan pendidikan.. Kata kunci— Bahan Ajar Interaktif, Pelatihan Guru, Pembelajaran Digital, Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Abstract Website-based interactive teaching material development training is an important requirement for SMK Plus An-Nuur teachers in improving the quality of learning in the digital era. This program aims to design and implement this training with a focus on developing interactive and website-based teaching materials. The training method involves a practical and interactive approach, enabling teachers to understand the concept, design and implementation of website-based teaching materials. The research results show that this training is effective in increasing teachers' knowledge and skills in developing interactive teaching materials. The participants were also motivated to develop interactive teaching materials in teaching and learning activities at school. Participant evaluations also show a high level of satisfaction with this training. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for other educational institutions in designing and implementing similar training, as well as increasing the use of technology in learning in educational environments. Keywords— Interactive Teaching Materials, Teacher Training, Digital Learning, Distance Learning

Abstract

Penilaian Afektif adalah salah satu aspek yang ditekankan dalam setiap kurikulum. Dalam pembelajaran PPKn, Penilaian Afektif tidak terpisahkan seiring dengan tujuan pembelajaran PPKn yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan warganegara yang berkarakter dan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mendeskripsikan penilaian afektif dalam pembelajaran PPKn sesuai dengan persepsi dan implementasi guru. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan guru sebagai subjek penelitian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini 3guru  SMK Swasta Budi Agung Medan, SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Masa (Nias), dan MAN Batubara. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan angket Googleform, dokumentasi, dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah guru memahami pentingnya penilaian afektif terhadap siswa; guru telah mengimplementasikan penilaian afektif dengan dua metode yakni observasi dan penilaian diri. Penilaian dilakukan setiap pembelajaran berlangsung, akhir materi pembelajaran, dan tergantung pada Buku Guru. Guru belum mengembangkan instrumen sendiri dan menggunakan apa yang disediakan dalam Buku Guru. penelitian ini perlu untuk diteliti lebih mendalam agar kesulitan guru-guru dalam penilaian afektif bisa digali lebih mendalam.

Abstract

The Universitas Terbuka (UT) is the 45th State University in Indonesia which was inaugurated based on Presidential Decree No. 41 of 1984, with the Distance Learning System (SBJJ) model. The background of this research is the existence of a Research Gap, namely Tutor behavior in academic and administrative matters, such as for example Tutors are late in reporting tuweb result files, wrong assessment formats, limited IT mastery, this can cause disruption of tutorials. The purpose of this research is that lecturers who provide tutorials at UT, are professional academically and administratively. The problems that occur, many tutors at UT are only part-time, tutors often take permission, come late, collect files late, limited IT skills. This research is a qualitative research with descriptions in the form of narratives, stories, words on the subjects studied. While the novelty of this research is the understanding of assessment procedures and limited IT tutors, which is the cause of tutor problems. Data collection methods through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, data sources are obtained from primary data, namely tutors, while secondary sources are managers. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman Interactive model which includes the stages of Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Display, and Data Conclution and Data validity through triangulation both methods, sources, time. To explore the data, researchers used the study of L.Berger, T.Luckman's Social Construction Action theory, which is a theory that focuses on human social action in their social interactions in society. The results showed that the tutor construction process required academic and administrative social changes in tutors, to create a culture of quality, improve the quality of IT tutors.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to describe the field of student activities at the Open University and analyze the strengthening of student character education through habituation of student activities. The method used in this study is a mixed research design or sequential explorative design. Student activities at the Open University are categorized in six areas, namely the fields of reasoning and science, skills, interests and talents, entrepreneurship, welfare, and social concern. Student involvement in student activities has a great impact on student character. This can be seen from the data that shows that 73.5 percent of students have a participatory character and a high work ethic, 97.1 percent of students have a sense of empathy and solidarity, and 87.9 percent of students have a spirit of leadership and integrity. Student activities in the field of reasoning and science can form the character of active participation, the field of interests and talents can form a work ethic, the field of skills strengthens the character of mutual respect in diversity, the field of entrepreneurship becomes a means of habituating leadership, and the field of welfare and social concern can form students with high integrity

Abstract

This study empirically evaluated Universitas Terbuka students' political participation. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey research design. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to Sociology Study Program students of the Universitas Terbuka in Malang. The analysis technique utilized descriptive statistics. The study results showed that the average level of student political participation is quite high. Open and distance education had the potential to strengthen the political participation of Indonesian citizens through various activities. Measuring student political participation in universities with an open and long-distance system still needs to be carried out, especially in Indonesia; therefore, the authors recommend that future researchers develop a more credible measurement tool and study it uses a more comprehensive approach.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the basis for strengthening global citizenship and increasing digital literacy in Indonesian society. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The collection of primary data sources included books, scientific journals, manuscript publications, and internet news media using literature study techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using interactive techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results of the study showed that strengthening global citizenship was based on two aspects, namely digital literacy and digital ethics. Digital literacy was needed to improve people's ability to utilize technology supported by digital ethics. People's ability to understand information in the digital world was increasing with evidence of being able to distinguish between good material for consumption and information that must be avoided.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the critical thinking skills of Gadjah Mada University students through a citizenship project-based learning model.The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The techniques used to collect data use observation, interviews, and document and archive searches.The results of this research show the citizenship learning strategy implemented at Gadjah Mada University using citizenship projects. Students are directed to be able to analyze citizenship problems in social, national and state life and find solutions in a creative idea outlined in a project. Citizenship project-based learning strategies can improve creativity skills, think critically, search for information and utilize ideas and information related to citizenship issues. As a follow-up to this citizenship project, students can invite various levels of society to participate in implementing the ideas contained in a citizenship project.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the zoning system on the quality of education at SMPN 5 Pringgabaya, and how the school is addressing the challenges that arise from the zoning system in an effort to improve the quality of education. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The data collection techniques used are interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data display, and verifying conclusions. The research results show that the impact of the zoning system on the quality of education has a significant effect on the quality of education, where the planning and implementation of learning have undergone changes. Teachers at SMPN 5 Pringgabaya are making adjustments in lesson planning to face The diversity of students and teaching methods have also changed, focusing more on student-centered learning to enhance learning effectiveness. In terms of assessment, schools are also making adjustments by adopting more flexible assessment approaches such as formative assessments, projects, achievements, and other authentic assessments. Furthermore, the way schools address the challenges arising from the zoning system is by organizing various development programs and teacher training to enhance creativity and adaptability skills in teachers to face the diversity of student backgrounds. The program includes the introduction of innovative learning methods, and schools involve parents as they are considered an important element in addressing the impact of the zoning system. This is evident as schools strengthen communication through regular meetings and the use of technology such as WhatsApp groups. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak sistem zonasi terhadap mutu pendidikan di SMPN 5 Pringgabaya, dan bagaimana cara pihak sekolah menghadapi tantangan yang muncul akibat sistem zonasi dalam usaha meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik wawancara obsrvasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kondensasi data, tampilan data, dan memverifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dampak sistem zonasi terhadap mutu pendidikan memiliki dampak yang begitu besar terhadap mutu pendidikan dimana perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran mengalami perubahan, guru-guru di SMPN 5 Pringgabaya melakukan penyesuaian dalam perencanaan pembelajaran untuk menghadapi keberagaman siswa, metode ajar juga mengalami perubahan dengan lebih berfokus pada pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa guna meningkatkan efektifitas belajar, dalam hal peneilaian sekolah juga melakukan penyesuaian dengan mengadopsi pendekatan penilaian yang lebih fleksibel seperti penilaian formatif, proyek, prestasi, dan penilaian autentik lainnya. Selanjutnya cara pihak sekolah menghadapi tantangan yang muncul akibat sistem zonasi dilakukan dengan cara mengadakan berbagai program pengembangan dan pelatihan guru untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas dan kemampuan adaptasi guru dalam menghadapi keberagaman latar belakang siswa, program tersebut mencangkup pengenalan metode pembelajaran inovatif, sekolah melibatkan orang tua karena dianggap sebagai elemen penting dalam mengatasi dampak sistem zonasi, terlihat dimana sekolah memperkuat komunikasi melalui pertemuan rutin dan penggunaan teknologi seperti group WhatsApp.

Abstract

This research explores the application of multicultural education principles within Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) curriculum to cultivate tolerance attitudes among fourth-grade students at SDN 011 Lakahang, located in Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi Province. Employing qualitative descriptive methodology, this investigation examines pedagogical strategies for integrating multicultural values within a predominantly homogeneous educational environment. Data collection utilized in-depth interviews, systematic observations, and comprehensive documentation analysis involving educators, students, families, and community stakeholders. Research outcomes demonstrate that strategic implementation of multicultural education through PPKn instruction effectively promotes tolerance development through diverse pedagogical approaches including content diversification, knowledge construction facilitation, prejudice mitigation, and equitable teaching practices. The investigation identifies implementation challenges including restricted diversity exposure and provides valuable insights regarding factors that influence successful multicultural education delivery in homogeneous educational contexts.
