Abstract

This study aims to develop a population information system application and village services to improve population administration data processing in Sopet Village, Jangkar District. The village is currently still using manual paper forms in the population service process, which are prone to data loss and corruption. In this study, researchers designed and developed an application that allows easy access to population information and improves the efficiency of public services. The application development method involves the stages of needs analysis, system design, software development, and application testing. The application includes fast data retrieval features, secure data storage, and the ability to generate reports efficiently. In the long term, it is expected that this application will enhance the efficiency of population administration, reduce the risk of data loss or damage, and contribute to the improvement of village governance. This research has important implications for population administration at the village level. The implementation of this application is expected to serve as a model for other villages to adopt information technology, thereby enhancing the quality of population services and promoting development at the village level

Abstract

Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) technology is a wireless network consisting of a random and dynamic set of nodes. Free flow and ever-changing nodes lead to unpredictable routes throughout the network, so a routing protocol is required to determine the path of each node. Therefore, a study was conducted to analyze the performance of routing protocols based on their characteristics, namely proactive and reactive. The proactive routing protocol tested is DSDV and the reactive routing protocol uses AODV. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the reactive routing protocol, AODV, has better performance than the proactive routing protocol, DSDV, measured by three Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, namely Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), throughput, and average delay.

Abstract

Load Balancing is a technique for distributing data traffic so that the workload is distributed evenly on 2 or more networks to maximize resource usage and improve performance. There are two ISPs for internet access services to the Banyuanyar Village Office, Boyolali, both of which have different bandwidths, namely from PT. Telkom has 100Mbps bandwidth and Kominfo has 50Mbps bandwidth. So here there will be dense network traffic if the internet network is not optimized.. In this case, it can be optimized using load balancing techniques on both ISPs by using the Peer Connection Classifier technique to group traffic and divide the load on both internet connection lines so as not to overload. So it can be concluded that by adding a proxy router device, configuring load balancing, and applying a hierarchical network-based network topology, it will optimize two internet network services at Banyuanyar Village Hall, Boyolali.

Abstract

Crimes that happen cannot be avoided when and how they will occur, as well as when at home. When the empty state is left away or when the occupants of the house are resting, usually many people do not realize and may not even know how to avoid mistakes when driving to maintain distance in order to avoid collisions and prevent crimes that can harm the occupants of the house both physically and materially. Based on the problems that occur, it is necessary to solve the problem in order to minimize the crime that occurs by making an Internet Of Thing-based home security tool using ESP32Cam and Telegram. The code application used in designing home security tools in this study is to use the Arduino IDE. Later the design tool in this study will use a Face Deection system that functions to detect faces which can later be very useful, which can detect faces in the home area in real-time as a warning sign through the telegram application whenever and wherever the home owner is as long as there is a gadget

Abstract

Growth in Indonesia’s tourism is increasing rapidly with over hundred thousands of yearly visitors. Travel agencies like Tenta tour provides travel and tourism planning services for customers, offering easy process and packages suited for any needs. Conventional methods used for planning tour plans are deemed inefficient and ineffective. To solve problems commonly found, a web service is designed to provide data transfer and management. The system is developed with a prototyping model until requirements are met, followed by system testing to ensure stable and fast performance. The research produced an integrated system by utilizing REST API web service and offering interoperability across systems. The system provides information on available travel packages and offers reservation and customization features. Results from performance testing show the capabilities of implemented web service design in managing requests and responses. The system provides responsive and easy data transfer and management.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal system is one of the crucial aspects in human resource management so that the right decision support system is needed for effective decision making. In this study, researchers used a hybrid method by combining the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and COPRAS (Complex Proportional Assessment) methods where AHP was used to determine the priority weights for each assessment criteria. Furthermore, COPRAS provides employee performance ratings based on these weights. The results show that AHP and COPRAS provide consistent and objective assessments. Alternative A1 consistently gets the highest rank with a value of 100 indicating excellent performance. A2 received the lowest rank with a value of 88.801235174, indicating the need for improvement. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of employee performance appraisal systems with AHP and COPRAS.

Abstract

Cases of violence against children and women that occur in Indonesia are still a serious problem that must be addressed immediately. The official website of the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection shows that in the last 3 years these cases have increased significantly. One of the efforts that have been made is to form Integrated Service Centers that spread across various cities as a forum for complaints. The complaint data must be secured to prevent misuse by unauthorized parties. The purpose of this study is to secure these data using the Vigenere Cipher and Base64 algorithms and a combination of the two algorithms. The entropy value is used as a test performance metric for each algorithm. From this test, the level of information security obtained was 72.77% on data encrypted using a combination of the Base64 and Vigenere Cipher algorithms

Abstract

The application of technology in the healthcare industry is increasingly expanding. One of the technological applications that has developed is the application for determining the type of food for hospital patients. In hospitals, patients require special care, including appropriate nutrition. This application provides a solution for determining the type of food that is suitable for the nutritional and health needs of each patient. In determining the food menu, this application uses the forward chaining method that starts from a set of facts and finds rules that fit the hypothesis towards a conclusion. In the process of determining the appropriate type of food for patients, this application considers the unique characteristics of each patient such as gender, age, weight and height, daily activities, and health conditions. With this application, it is hoped that patients in hospitals can obtain the necessary and appropriate nutrition for their bodies, which will ultimately improve their recovery and health process

Abstract

The development of computer technology has influenced various aspects of life, including the field of trade. One local product that is experiencing increasing demand is palm sugar, both in the domestic and international markets. However, palm sugar sales and distribution management is still faced with challenges such as limited access to information, inefficient inventory monitoring, and a lack of centralized system integration. This research aims to design and develop a web-based palm sugar sales application system to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of sales management. This application system uses the Flask Python framework, which is a lightweight and easy-to-use web framework. By implementing important features in the sales system and providing an intuitive user interface, this system can help increase operational efficiency in palm sugar sales management. The flexibility provided by the Flask Python framework allows developing and customizing the system according to different business needs

Abstract

Theft of valuables such as high-priced branded shoes is a crime that often occurs. As cases of theft increase, this research aims to reduce the number of theft incidents, especially those targeting valuable items such as shoes stored in shoe boxes. This research proposes the development of a security tool for shoe boxes equipped with a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect movement, Nodemcu esp8266 as the brain of the system, and the Blynk application as an Internet of Things (IoT) platform. This research will take the form of a Shoebox security tool that can provide shoesbox security notifications. This tool is designed to increase the security of shoe boxes, helping to effectively reduce the incidence of theft.
