Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the quality of multiple-choice items in the "Chemistry Boost" test from FMIPAK Unima, based on responses from 80 high school students answering 40 items. The validity test used a combination of Discrimination Index (DI) and Difficulty Level (DL). DI has 6 categories: Very Good, Good Enough, Marginal, Poor Discrimination, Negative, while DL consists of 6 categories: Discarded, Very Easy, Easy, Maintained, Very Difficult, and Reviewed for deficiencies or taught. The results obtained are 23 valid items, or 57.5%. Based on the results, the cognitive processes of Anderson's revised Bloom Taxonomy were determined, with valid items in C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, and C6 being 2, 2, 12, 6, 0, respectively. Items categorized as Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are in C4 and C5, totaling 18 items. Valid chemistry topics include Acid-Base, Atomic Structure, Stoichiometry, and Reaction Rates. Topics less understood by participants include Compounds and Chemical Formulas, Solubility, Chemical Equilibrium, Ionization Energy, Redox, Electrochemistry, and Hydrocarbons.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a positive relationship between the application of the concept achievement model and the learning achievement of SMA Negeri 1 Manado students in Chemistry Subjects. The survey was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Manado involving 50 respondents as a sample. Through the results of the study, it was concluded that there is a positive correlation between the application of the concept achievement model and the learning achievement of SMA Negeri 1 Manado students in Chemistry Subjects. Based on these findings, it is recommended that innovative approaches be applied in the Chemistry learning process. New and creative strategies can be introduced to improve learning effectiveness, by utilizing concept achievement models as one approach that is proven to have a positive impact.

Abstract

This research is a preliminary study of the development of blog-based reaction rate e-module media to increase student learning motivation and communication which was carried out by R&D. This study is a mixed-method of descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. Data was collected through library research and questionnaires which were processed using the Rasch Model. The results of data collection were then processed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The purpose of this study is to find out, describe and explain the need for blog-based e-module development on the subject of reaction rates and the advantages and disadvantages of blog media. The literature study was carried out by reviewing journals relevant to the research (library research) and questionnaire data collection was carried out online using the Google form. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis for the development of blog-based reaction rate e-modules to increase student learning motivation and communication using the Rasch Model, the results obtained from reviewing journals and distributing questionnaires can be concluded that blogger media is classified as effective for use as an alternative learning media for students because it is easy to use, inexpensive and interactive. The use of blog media is able to increase student learning motivation because of the in-depth presentation of material. The advantage of using blog media compared to print media is the sub-microscopic presentation. The blog-based module is able to describe abstract sub-microscopic materials on reaction rates in detail and is not boring because it is animated. Along with the development of learning motivation, students’ mathematical communication and communication in the learning process will increase.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi media pembelajaran interaktif mobile learning menggunkan metode SDLC (System Develop Life Cycle) terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Kristen Pais Kalongan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain One-Group pretest-posttest design, yang merupakan penelitian menggunakan satu kelompok. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa SMA Kristen Pais Kalongan dan sampel terdiri dari 1 kelas, yaitu kelas XI MIA sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 10 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pretest sebelum proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan, dan posttest setelah proses pembelajaran. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berupa selisih pretest dan posttest pada kelas eksperimen 48.9 dan 88.3. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil analisis uji-t pada taraf nyata (α) = 0.05 didapat : thitung = 4.95 dan ttabel = 2.26.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran project based learning pada materi hukum-hukum dasar kimia di kelas XA SMA Negeri 2 Langowan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XA SMA Negeri 2 Langowan tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 semester genap berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri atas observasi, dokumentasi dan instrumen tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data hasil tes dan data observasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian, ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yang memperoleh nilai ≥75 sebesar 91,667% dengan kategori tinggi, sedangkan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa memperoleh nilai ≥80 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning pada materi hukum-hukum dasar kimia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
