Abstract

Analysis of the sticking problem on the xyz tablet using the PDCA method at PT. Sunthi Sepuri. Products that have a good level of quality will certainly get its own value for consumers. That's why the quality of a product is a measure of the success of a product.. Every company must carry out activities in its business and every activity has certain goals to be achieved as the direction of the implementation of its activities. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to control and supervise the day-to-day operations of the company's business. PT. Sunthi Sepuri is one of the companies in Tangerang that produces pharmaceutical products or known as pharmaceutical manufacturers and PT. Sunthi Sepuri is a subsidiary of Nugra Santana Group. During the product production process, there must be imperfections in producing tablets, resulting in defects in tablets. Problems with tablets include black spots, sticking (clots), capping (broken/split), variations in weight and variations in hardness. Based on observations for one month, the most defect problem in XYZ tablets is sticking. Fishbone Diagram is a problem solving technique that helps to think through the many possible causes of a problem to be solved. And PDCA is a model for continuous improvement by planning, doing, checking, and taking action. Abstract

The construction project of Toll road is a strategic infrastructure project, because it is a national strategic project so the government has made an Acceleration Program for Accelerating Toll Road construction of approximately 1100 km and the government expectations that the toll road can be used immediately One of the analyze method can be used to analyze the project acceleration is the Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO). Analysis method which is processed from secondary data which aims to speed up the project completion time and analyze how the time can be shortened by adding a minimum cost toward activities that can be accelerate the time project. The alternative used for this method is the addition of overtime hours. After analyzing the project using the Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO) method, the acceleration of project completion was found to be 123 days from the normal 158 days with an efficiency of project time of 19% and also an optimum cost efficiency of 2%. Abstract

Popay (Youth Cares for Orphans) is a non-profit organization that collects, manages, and distributes aid to orphans in the form of cash and basic materials for daily needs. So far, the process of recording and collecting data carried out by the organization uses the traditional model, where all data and transaction records are still using paper and are vulnerable to loss or damage due to poor management of records. To increase the effectiveness and efficiency of data management in the Popay organization, a website-based data processing information system was created. At the stage of making this website, the Rapid Application Development (RAD) development method was used. This system is designed to be responsive so that it can adapt optimally to any device. The importance of adjusting the display design to the screen of the device used in order to provide convenience to organizational administrators when filling in data for orphans from house to house, as well as for donors who want to access information without need for special devices such as laptops. With the management information system in the Popay organization, it helps the organization's management in managing data systematically and makes it easier for the public as well as donors to obtain activity information and reports on the use of funds.

Abstract

PT Wirataco Mitra Mulia (WMM) is a company engaged in the construction of stone crushers such as split , medium , and stone ash. Problems that often occur in general in this company, one of which is not meeting the demands of consumers, where production supplies do not meet the demands of consumers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the inventory of asphalt materials at PT. Wirataco Mita Mulia. RCCP is a method used to analyze production inventory capacity in meeting production demand capacity needs while making a master production schedule (JIP), calculating efficiency, and calculating utility. Machine capacity 1 working day 8 hours and 1 work shift, 1 week = 6 working days, 1 month = 24 working days. Available time per month = 24 working days. The comparison made after the research shows that the split demand capacity = 10560 M3 while the available capacity = 14668 M3. Medium demand capacity = 7447, while available capacity = 13979 M3. For rock ash demand capacity = 7092 M3 while available capacity = 3416 M3, it means that the split and medium inventory capacities are met. Meanwhile, the demand for rock ash production was not met. For this reason, the company should carry out production planning based on the master production schedule and RCCP, so that the supply of rock ash can be fulfilled.

Abstract

Flood is one of the natural disasters that often occur in Indonesia. The amount of loss caused by the flood is immeasurable. This is also felt by residents of Cimone Mas Permai 2 Housing Estate, Tangerang City. Every rainy season, it is certain that they are always affected by floods. Therefore, an effort is needed to minimize the possibility of losses received by making a prototype of a flood detection system to monitor the height and swiftness of the water flow. This system is based on the Internet of Things (IOT), which is a network that connects various physical devices with their respective protocols. This flood detection system uses a waterflow sensor to calculate the speed of water flow, a Water Level sensor as a water level detector, Arduino Uno as a value center for various sensors, Nodemcu ESP8266 as a sender of sensor values to the Firebase database. The system will operate directly when given power and read each sensor which will be sent to the database. Residents will get information about flood heights through an Android application that is connected to internet data. And admins can monitor assistance reports from the admin website. Abstract

Abstract Industry is used as a part of economic production that is focused on certain manufacturing processes that must have large capital before it can make a profit. Indonesia is one of the largest automotive bases in the Southeast Asia region to date. One of the automotive products in Indonesia is racing exhaust. . Racing exhaust is one part of a vehicle or tool that is installed with the aim of being a drain access channel, usually found on motorized vehicles and cars. A racing exhaust craftsman is someone who makes exhaust from raw (unfinished) materials into ready-to-use/sold goods. However, it cannot be denied, the more racing exhaust craftsmen, the greater the competition in production. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several problems have occurred in the racing exhaust industry. However, the problem does not affect the income of the NDK Exhaust Purbalingga exhaust industry. While exhaust craftsmen complained that their income had decreased due to problems in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, NDK Exhaust Purbalingga actually increased their income, even being able to market their products overseas. This is because NDK Exhaust has implemented a 4 P marketing system, namely product, price, place, and promotion. And actively promote on e-commerce. Abstract

The performance of a machine for the production process depends on the reliability and availability of the machine. At PT. Ujong Neubok Dalam (UND) is a company that produces Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and kernels. The production target in the company is 270 tons/day of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) which will be produced into CPO. Problems that often occur at PT. UND is related to machine breakdown (Down Time). The implication is that the ongoing production process is not optimal. This study aims to determine the level of availability and reliability of the screww press machine. The focus of the study is placed on the screww press machine station because after the initial observation the frequency of machine downtime often occurs in screw press machines. The failure of the screw press machine components can hamper the production process, resulting in not achieving the production targets set by the company. In this study, we have analyzed the level of reliability and availability of the oil palm screw press machine. From the calculation results, we can see that the level of reliability of the screw press machine 2-3 has a reliability level of 90% with an operating time of 5 days, and the level of reliability of the screw press machine will decrease with increasing time and for the availability of components for a period of 30 days.

Abstract

CV. Zam-Zam Furniture manufactures various kinds of furniture products, such as wardrobes, tables, chairs, beds, bookshelves, stacking shelves, etc. The problem faced is the emergence of defects in the product. Defective products occur due to errors in the production process, such as lack of planning, supervision and control, worker negligence, and others. The high number of defective products will increase the cost of the production process which will cause losses for the company. The purpose of this study is to identify the number of defective products and determine the causes of defective products and provide alternative repairs. To make it easier to analyze the causes of disability, the research methods used are P control charts and cause and effect diagrams (fisbone diagrams). The results showed that there were two types of damage, namely bumps and scratches, using the P control chart the final product quality control chart with the final total CL value of 2.677, UCL 4.112, LCL 1.243 with the proportion of defects of 2.677 which means the quality control process is within control limits because the value of the proportion of defects is smaller than the UCL value. The results of the analysis with cause-and-effect diagrams that show the causes of poor product quality are labor factors, methods, machines, environmental materials and tools.

Abstract

Air merupakan komponen lingkungan yang penting bagi makhluk hidup. Sumber air berasal dari air hujan dan air tanah. Tempat pembuangan akhir (TPA) sampah merupakan tempat dimana sampah mencapai tahap terakhir dalam pengelolaannya. Air sumur yang berdekatan dengan TPA dihadapkan dengan berbagai masalah. Permasalahan tersebut meliputi tingginya laju timbunan sampah, cairan lindi dan menurunnya kualitas lingkungan. Lindi merupakan hasil dekomposisi sampah yang menggunung terdiri dari bahan organik dan bahan anorganik. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut perlu dilakukan pengujian kimia dan mikrobiologi air sumur di area TPA Jatiwaringin Kabupaten Tangerang untuk mengetahui kelayakan air yang digunakan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Sampel air sumur di ambil dari Desa Buaran Jati, Desa Tanggul Rajeg dan Desa Tanjakan Mekar dengan jarak 250-1500 meter. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian kimia menunjukkan parameter pH (8,3%), nitrit (16,7%), dan klorida (8,3%) tidak memenuhi syarat sedangkan parameter sulfat 100% memenuhi syarat. Untuk parameter mikrobiologi terdapat satu (8,3%) sampel yang tidak memenuhi syarat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 7 sampel (58,3%) dari 12 sampel air sumur yang layak sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 416 Tahun 1990 tentang Daftar Persyaratan Kualitas Air Bersih secara kimia dan mikrobiologi.

Abstract

Coal is one of the natural resource commodities produced from mining activities in Indonesia and is a strategic mining material in the supply of energy sources. Especially for Banten , coal were found in South Banten Bayah. Gasification is a solution for the use of coal. Coal gasification is the process of converting solid coal into a gas mixture. The main reactions that occur are the water gas, boundouard and water gas-shift reactions. This study aims to determine the effect of Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) gasifications in the Banten Bayah Natural coal gasification process which produces synthesis gas with an H2/Co Ratio 2. The measured parameters are the composition of H2 and CO gases using Gas Chromatography. The gasification process is carried out with an updraft fixed bed reactor using steam medium on a 14 mesh coal size of 300 grams with AFR variations of 1.5, 2 and 2.5 with temperature 800oC. The activation energy of the gasification reaction can be reduced by using Ca(OH)2 catalysts as much as 3% of the mass of coal. From the research results obtained the best H2/CO ratio syngas gas composition at AFR 1.5 temperature 800oC using Ca(OH)2 catalyst which is 1.98 with H2 gas composition 33.8% and CO gas 17.1%..
