<![CDATA[Fiction Corner was an interesting corner in Library of Senior High School 1 Yogyakarta. The Fiction Corner contains special collections of fiction that are not found in other libraries, especially school libraries. In addition, the level of loan collections in the fiction corner is also the most prominent compared to other collections. The acquisition in this fiction corner is unique because it is based on needs in the corner of fiction with certain considerations and stages. The purpose of this paper is to know the implementation, obstacles, and the impact of the acquisition of a collection of fiction in the fiction corner. Qualitative research methods and approaches, with field observation techniques, direct interviews and collecting available data. The results of the acquisition research are going well but there are some obstacles. Positive impact in the form of; a) increase the level of library visits; b) Increase reading interest in supporting the school literacy movement; c) Become a distinctive feature of the library; d) Increase the percentage comparison of collections of fiction and non-fiction. <![CDATA[This research entitled;The Study of Art Journals Management at the Indonesian Institute of Art in Surakarta. The aim of the research is to find out how the interests, usefulness and what factors which become the obstacles to the sustainability of the publication of journals at the Indonesian Institute of Art in Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative research approach which describes phenomena, digs up data by interviewing, observing and documenting. The problems in qualitative research are still temporary, tentative and will develop or change after the researcher is in the field. Qualitative research requires data sources called informants. This study uses triangulation technique to test the credibility of data by checking the data to the same source with different techniques. For example, data are obtained by doing interview, then checked by observation, documentation, or questionnaire. Interest theory is used in reviewing the management of this journal. The second theory; a research model adapted from Kim (2005) and Nisonger (1997) about the influence factors of a person’s desire to use journal facilities provided by the library. Those variables are; Ease of use, Accessibility, Relevance of information content to the user’s information needs, Quality of information and Intention to use the journal. The results of this study are expected to be an input or recommendation and thoughts for the Indonesian Institute of Arst in Surakarta on how to manage the art journals within the Indonesian Institute of Arts in Surakarta. ]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses the procurement collection in the Library of Yogyakarta Higher Technology College. This paper describes the description of planning activities and the method of procuring a collection of library materials in the Library STTKD Yogyakarta. This research was conducted by Qualitafif method with unstructured interview. Theconclusion of this paper is to try the library materials that have’nt been owned by the library STTKD and add materials that have been owned by the Library STTKD with the number of somewhat small, as for the planning step is the Inventory of library materials, library, setting preference. In addition, several methods of procurement of library materials are done in the following way: buyer, gift, exchange, donations, cooperation, endowments and self-published. ]]>

<![CDATA[Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi merupakan sumber rujukan yang penting pada duniapendidikan, dalam kegiatan belajar, penelitian maupun sebagai informasi tambahanlainnya. Berbagai koleksi yang ada di perpustakaan digunakan sebagai bahan belajarjuga sebagai acuan dalam mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan mereka. Selain bukupegangan perpustakaan fakultas juga memiliki berbagai koleksi yang lain sepertiskripsi dan beberpa koleksi referensi. Tulisan ini dimaksud untuk mengetahui motivasimahasiswa ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi tahun 2015 dalam memanfaatkankoleksi yang ada di perpustakaan fakultas ilmu sosial dan politik sebagai sumberrujukan pertama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan datadari wawancara dan hasilnya direduksi, disajikan serta dianalisa. Hasil dari penelitianini, mahasiswa untuk datang ke perpustakaan adalah lokasi, dan motivasi pertamamenggunakan koleksi karena koleksi yang dicari berada di perpustakaan tersebut,serta mudah didapat. Koleksi yang dimiliki mutahir dan penelusuran yang tidak sulit,selain motivasi utama karena dosen memberikan tugas yang bahan rujukan berada diperpustakaan fakultas.Kata kunci : Perpustakaan, Motivasi, Rujukan, Koleksi]]>
