Abstract

Development of border area always becomes an interesting discussions, this is proved when development of border area issue becomes as a part of the national development plan. For Indonesia, border area has a strategic means, especially in defence-security side, economic-trade side, and social-cultural side. This article is an effort to describe the management of land border area in North Kalimantan. They were located in both Malinau and Nunukan district spreading in 17 sub-districts which are bordered with neighboring country Malaysia. The proximity distance enabled the interactions and transborder activities among the people in land border area. Border areas in North Kalimantan have a big potential to be developed as the central of growth area, so properly policy and management are required.

Abstract

This study aimed to know the role of Bulungan Regency Legislative Secretariat of Public Relations and Protocol in building the relations with media. The data that are presented here are taken from interviews with key informants and informant which is the Head of Public Relations and Protocol with secondary data ,the documents and reports that are  relevance to the problems examined. The data analysis technique used is based on interactive model developed by Miles, Huberman and Saldana.

Abstract

The main issue raised in this study is wheter or not individual characteristics and education & training could together and partially have significant effect on the performance of employees in the Finance Department Secretariat of the East Kutai Regency and among these varaiabel, which variables are the dominant influence on the performance of employees in the Finance Department Secretariat of the East Kutai Regency.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of extension services of motor vehicle registration certificate in SAMSAT Samarinda. The research is using qualitative data analysis tehnique. The result shows that the extension of the service certificate of motor vehicle number based on the Indonesian National Police Regulation No. 05/2012, but practically it did not run well. Due to 7 (seven) parameter, only three items that can be pursued especially in a mechanism of service, accountability and hospitality of police personnel in service. The causes of less service in Samsat Samarinda are limited allocation of operational budgets to support the services, lack of availability of operational support that meets the qualifications required, both in quantity and quality, and availability of police personel with technology skill.

Abstract

This research aims to know the role of the head of sub-district  in improving the e-ID cards in Kenohan Sub-district Office Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This research also wants to know the factor that supporting and the factors that restricting the role of the head of sub-district  in improving the e-ID cards in Kenohan Sub-district Office Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This research uses qualitative research methods type descriptive. Analysis tool used is an interactive model of the analysis as presented by Miles and Huberman.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe and analyze Employees’ Competence Development in the Context of Public Service in the Work Environment Public Broadcasting Radio Republik Indonesia Samarinda together with factors that support and hinder the program. This research is descriptive qualitative research that took place in LPP-RRI Samarinda. Primary data taken from interviews with several informants and direct observation. While secondary data are taken from the information or data held by agencies. Drawing conclusions based on the data that is processed by clicking use interactive data analysis models.
