Abstract

This research aimed to find out (1) relationship between headmaster’s leadership with student’s satisfaction, (2) relationship between service with student’s satisfaction, (3) relationship between headmaster’s leadership and service collectively with student’s satisfaction. Research method used in this research is quantitative method with correlation survey technique. The sampling technique used is multi stage random sampling. The responden in this research is Senior High School’s students in Berau Regency with population was 3486 students and sample was 171 students. The result of this research shows: First, there was a significant relationship between headmaster leadership with student’s satisfaction. Second, there was a significant relationship between service with student’s satisfaction. Third, there was a significant relationship between headmaster leadership and service collectively with student’s satisfaction.Keywords: Headmaster’s Leadership, Service, Student’s Satisfaction

Abstract

The implementation of policies relating to the delegation of partial authority district to district, from 13 (thirteen) delegated areas not implemented well. The main purpose of this article to explains the implementation of delegating policy from head of district to head of subdistricts in Tenggarong.  At the macro level policy of delegation of partial authority from the Head Regent to subdistrict particularly in Tenggarong can not run completely.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the development of Employee Work Motivation in the Food Security. This type of research conducted by the author, including qualitative descriptive. Source data extracted from key informants and informant. Analysis of the data used is Interactive models. The results showed that the development of work motivation of employees in the Food Security East Kutai Regency is done through the provision of incentives, giving apprecition, work placement employees as expertise, providing the opportunity take part in education and training, as well as providing working facilities it can motivate employees to implementation job good. From the set parameters, such factors rated most powerful incentive to spur the spirit of employees in their duties. While the appreciation factor and the factor of education and training is quite motivating employees to perform their duties. While the factors of employment and provision of working facilities are less encouraging employee motivation.Keywords: Development, Employee, Work Motivation

Abstract

The good work achievement of employee might be created if the employee has a motivation and skill to conduct the job description. Beside those factors, environtment factor also able to influence work achievement in the organization. Motivation as a push factor for reaching the best result, a motivational system consist of a tactic and strategy designed to stimulate and support the effort and its impact to enhancement of work achievement.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know the influence of restructuring the Organization, leadership and coordination both individually or collectively to the effectiveness of the work of civil servants in the Secretariat of the East Kutai Regency. The type of this research is a associative quantitative one. The techniques used in determining the sample was proportional random sampling by the method of probability sampling. Level of trust in this research by 90 % or ᾱ 10 %, whereas the sample set as many as 78 people using the formula Slovin. Data analysis techniques used to use regression analysis, correlation product moment f-test and t-test.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pembinaan sumber daya aparatur pada Dinas Kebudayaan Pariwisata dan Kominfo Kota Samarinda  melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam upaya Meningkatan Prestasi Kerja dan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Prestasi Kerja Pada Dinas Kebudayaan Pariwisata dan Kominfo Kota samarinda setelah mengikuti pendidikan dan pelatihan. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk deskriptif kualitatif.Jenis data terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Data Model Interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, memberikan pegawai ketrampilan khusus melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan yang  meliputi Diklat Tekhnis, Diklat Fungsional  dan Kursus-Kursus dalam bidang pekerjaannya merupakan upaya meningkatkan sumber daya aparatur dalam rangka meningkatan Prestasi Kerja Pada Dinas Kebudayaan Pariwisata dan Kominfo Kota Samarinda. Ada perubahan yang berarti bagi Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) yang telah memiliki legalitas pendidikan dan pelatihan, baik segi kemampuan, keterampilan, dan keahlian sehingga kinerja pegawai secara kuantitas, kualitas dan ketepatan waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan menjadi meningkat dan lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the management of infrastructure development in the roads and bridges sector, analyzing and describing the impacts and benefits of infrastructure development on the society, as well as describing and analyzing the factors that hamper and support the management of infrastructure development, especially in roads and bridges in Long Bagun Sub-district Mahakam Ulu Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach and the data obtained by interview technique, observation, and documentation, which then is described with qualitative approach by using data analysis through data condensation stage, data presentation, and conclusion / verification. Based on the research results, can be concluded that the management of infrastructure development in Long Bagun Sub-district Mahakam Ulu District reviewed from Planning, Organizing / Implementation and Supervision of infrastructure development in the field of road and bridge infrastructure has been running quite well, although in the implementation of infrastructure development in the field of road and bridge infrastructure which runs less satisfactory results for the society.Keywords: management, infrastructur, development

Abstract

This article explains the causes of conflict and the efforts of conflict settlement in East Kalimantan in three areas, i.e. Samarinda, Balikpapan, and Kutai Timur. This is a descriptive qualitative research using primary and secondary data by depth interview and literature study. The results shows that based on the Druckman Approach, the conflicts in Samarinda, Balikpapan and Kutai Timur are attributable to three resourses of conlicts those are interest conflict (economic and politic), understanding conflict (social and cultural gap), and ideology conflict (religion and believe, except that of Balikpapan). Meanwhile, the effort of conflict settlement is conducted by Social Conflict Respon Team which is consist of government and society elements. The team uses persuasive approach, mediation. Mediation would be consist of two stages, investigation and solution. There are two solutions would be possible. First, if the team found that there is a criminal case so legal approach will be implemented. Second, if the team found that there is no criminal case so humanity approach based on local wisdom would be implemented. The latter is more efective to dealt with the social conflit since the trust of people toward their traditional/cultural/religion leader much bigger than toward the aparatus.Keywords: social conflict, conflict settlement, East Kalimantan

Abstract

Work satisfaction can increase the employee achievement, it can produce high motivation for the employee to contribute significantly to his organization. In order to show work satisfaction in the organization it needs the support from the all members of oragnization. Meanwhile at the same time to achieve the good performance of Samarinda agriculture department  considered by several factors; opportunity, compensation, work partner, and leadership.

Abstract

This Research aim is to determine to what extent does motivation influence the  achievement of employees working in the Office of Public Works Malinau District of North Borneo. The results of the study concluded that the hypothesis of this study that states that the motivation variables include physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, esteem needs and self-actualization needs This hypothesis stating that the requirements of Safety is a motivational variable that has the most dominant influence on the performance of employees in the office of the Public Works Department Malinau District of North Borneo was convicted in the amount of 25.3%, while the smallest variable effects on work performance is variable social needs, amounting to 01.8%.
