Abstract

The education system in Indonesia has undergone many changes. These changes have been made because various attempts at renewal in education have progressed. This progress makes teachers or educators expected to find new methods and equipment that can provide enthusiasm for learning for all students. Several attempts have been made by the teacher to improve learning outcomes in social studies subjects, namely by holding group discussions, providing additional varied practice questions, and repeating material that students have not yet understood. This study aims to: Know the Implementation of Brainstorming in Growing Student Activeness in Social Studies Subjects. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis refers to Miles, Huberman, and Saldana which consists of data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study are the implementation of the brainstorming type discussion method is carried out by dividing students into several discussion groups, then the teacher gives a discourse on problems to students regarding learning topics, students issue their ideas, opinions and the teacher accommodates them without changing these ideas, Teachers and students together evaluate the ideas that have been issued by students in the learning process takes place.

Abstract

Humans in meeting their needs always require various kinds of goods or supporting products. Every human being must have needs that must be met. The existence of economic activity helps people meet their needs. Economic activity includes the process of production, distribution, and consumption. This means that trade is also included in economic activity. Along with the development of the times, especially in the development of globalization, trade is carried out not only domestically. Trade carried out by several countries is divided into two, namely export and import activities. Export and import activities certainly have a correlation or relationship with the rate of economic development of a country. It is also undeniable that this economic activity can influence people's behavior. The large number of foreign products that enter causes consumptive behavior towards foreign goods. The research will determine the intensity of the use of imported goods among students at the Indonesian University of Education, Cibiru Campus. This research is qualitative research that emphasizes a process without being tested using descriptive data.

Abstract

Values education through art education is an activity that specifically aims to instill certain values, such as religious values, moral values, and aesthetic values in the form of learning to appreciate and create art. In its application in formal schools, planting local cultural values can be done explicitly by providing interesting and fun media for art appreciation for students. One of them is kwementara, a quartet card containing ornaments in the archipelago, students are expected to appreciate ornamental objects in which there are noble cultural values of the nation. The method used in this research is research and development (R&D) which is a research method used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of products by going through the stages of product development. In this section the use of cards as media can provide interesting information in the process of developing creativity, so that the learning process will be in demand and liked by students both formally and non-formally, in making this learning media attention and ability are needed in creating new motifs in a visual element, so that every composition and layout when carrying out the design process needs to be considered, so that the feasibility of this learning media work must pass several trials and validations so that it can be used. In its application, the kamentara card is used in formal, non-formal and informal learning activities, so that in daily activities students can use it as a medium for playing and learning in appreciating the ornaments of the archipelago.

Abstract

This article was created with the title "Palestinian Conflict with Israel (The Fate of Palestinian Children's Education)" with the aim of informing readers about the conflict that occurred between Palestine and Israel, specifically which has an impact on the field of education. The method used in this article is descriptive qualitative with documentation techniques as the data collection technique. Thus it can be seen that the conflict between Palestine and Israel occurred because the Palestinian territories were seized by force in a cruel way by Israel. The United Nations has tried to provide regulations to resolve the conflict but to no avail because it received a veto right from the United States. Many bad impacts arising from the conflict, one of which is in the field of education. Indonesia has very good relations with Palestine, so that Indonesia provides a lot of aid for Palestine. This good relationship originated from Palestine's recognition of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, so that good relations between Indonesia and Palestine are very closely intertwined like friends and brothers from the past until now.

Abstract

Kasongan ceramics experience aesthetic transformation over time. Changes in the art of Kasongan ceramics were initially limited to household items with designs limited to circles, rounds, and cylinders, changing into animal shapes with pasting decoration techniques, jars with paint finishing techniques or glass mosaics, and Loroblonyo sculptures with glaze finishing techniques. The manufacturing technique, which was initially limited to traditional techniques, has evolved over time in terms of tool preparation, embodiment, and finishing. This is evident in the work produced, which range from traditional techniques to temple techniques and finishing techniques using paint, glass, and glaze. The ceramic design that was originally intended to fulfill daily needs has undergone a design shift, namely toward a ceramic design that is not only functional (traditional), but also more oriented toward art product design (decoration) or practical art (functional decoration). External and internal factors that exist in the wider community influence the variety of products produced by ceramic artisans in Kasongan.

Abstract

The existence of student organizations in tertiary institutions is important in the context of self-development of students themselves. This is confirmed by the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education article 77 concerning Student Organizations. There is an imbalance in the ideal organizational paradigm with field facts, the benefits of participating in the BEM UPR organization, the bargaining value of BEM UPR at the external level, as well as perceptions of BEM UPR's social behavior and organizational ethics, became the basis for researchers interested in studying by taking the title of the final project with the theme of ethics, namely " Social Behavior of Student Executive Board (BEM) Management in the Perspective of Organizational Ethics at the University of Palangka Raya Level. This thesis research aims to analyze the relationship between social behavior patterns of BEM UPR in relation to values and culture in work programs as organizational ethics, as well as educational aspects that can be studied therein. The research design uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The primary data are people who know in depth the social behavior of BEM Palangka Raya University. While the secondary data is the literature in accordance with the author's research title. Data was collected by observation techniques, interviews, and document collection. The results of the research that the authors obtained were the existence of an ethical culture in organizations. This culture is used for decision making both leaders and members of the organization. Perceptions of the BEM of Palangka Raya University as described in the research results tend to be more positive, because students make their circle of communication in the form of groups. Contextual factors play a role in providing encouragement or motivation for action. In the organizational culture at BEM, University of Palangka Raya, values and norms as important elements can be seen both in real and latent phenomena.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in CV Panca Bina Banua, located in the Sungai Loban district of Tanah Bumbu regency. Data was collected using a questionnaire administered to 32 randomly selected employees from the company's workforce. The results of the analysis indicate that the level of employee engagement in CV Panca Bina Banua falls into the moderate category, while the level of OCB is high. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between employee engagement and OCB. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights to the management of the company on how to enhance employee engagement and OCB, which in turn can improve the overall performance of the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of work communication and the work environment on the performance of employees of PT Nusantara Surya Sakti Banjarmasin which was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic. The influence test between variables is carried out simultaneously or partially. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with data collection methods through questionnaires. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that work communication and work environment have a simultaneous or partial effect on employee performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Work communication and work environment simultaneously affect the performance of Nusanrata Surya Sakti Banjarmasin employees by 59.5%. While the partial effect of work communication on employee performance has an effect of 36.3% and the effect of the work environment on employee performance is 24.2%.

Abstract

This quantitative study aims to investigate how intrinsic motivation affects students' performance in the Management degree at FEB Palangka Raya University. Purposive sampling was utilized to choose 123 students from the class of 2022 to participate in a survey. Participants' desire to learn was rated on a scale of 1–100 using the questionnaire, and their first-semester academic performance was evaluated using their individual version (IP) grade point average. EViews 12 was used to do the statistical analysis of the data. Students' grades (Y) were shown to be highly impacted by their level of learning motivation (X). The results of the statistical analysis, conducted using EViews 12, showed that there is a strong correlation between students' level of intrinsic motivation and their academic performance. Specifically, this study found that students who have higher levels of intrinsic motivation tend to have better academic performance than those who have lower levels of intrinsic motivation.

Abstract

This research aimed at investigating the effect of online learning and Locus of Control Internal to Students learning Motivation in Economic Education Study Program, the Teaching and Education Faculty, Palangka Raya University. The research method used was expos facto in which the source of data were the students of 2019 and 2020 entrance year. The research result showed that the Online learning gave the partial contribution more to the Students lerning motivation as 71,40%, meanwhile Locus of Control internal contributed 17,81%. The analysis of simultaneous testing was done later on and gained the score of Fvalue > Ftable (31,388 > 3,12) with the significance level 0,000 (r < 0,05). The conclusion of this research was 31,388% of Economic Education Study Program students’ learnng motivation affected by Online learning and Locus of Control internal and the rest was affected by other external factors.
