Abstract

The study is aimed to know the effect of liquid organic fertilizer, given toward of orchicidaceae cattleya growth. The study was arranged by complate randomized design: non factorial. By OFL treatment (coconut water and water of rice washing) was repeated three times. The treatmant of (OFL) was consisted of 10 level k0 (Without Liquid Organic Fertilizer), k1 (coconut water 2,5 ml L-1 water), k2 (coconut water 5,0 ml L-1 water), k3 ( coconut water 7,5 ml L-1 water), b4 (water of rice washing 2,5 ml L-1 water), b5 (water of rice washing 5,0 ml L-1 water), b6 (water of rice washing 7,5 ml L-1 water), kb7 (coconut water 2,5 ml L-1 + water of rice washing 5,0 ml L-1 water), kb8 (coconut water 5,0 ml L-1 + water of rice washing 5,0 ml L-1 water), and kb9 (coconut water 7,5 ml L-1 + water of rice washing 7,5 ml L-1 water).The result of this study showed that OFL treatment didnt give an effect to the avarege, number of high plants, and number of leaves at the age of days 25, 35, 45, and 55 after planting period. The unreal effect was on the paremeter of roots number at the age of days 25, 35, 45, and 55 after planting period. Meanwhile, the POC treatmen gave an real effect to the avareg of roots number at the age of days 45 after planting period.Keywords: Growth, Orchid, Liquid organic fertilizer.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the composition of rice bran and corn flour which are best to planting media of while oyster mushroom and was determined of rice bran and corn flour will increase growth productivity of white oyster mushrooms. The research was conducted experimentally using Randomized Block Design (RBD) has two factors, the first factor is an addition of rice bran with treatments such as A1 = 5 kg, A2 = 1 kg, A3 = 2 kg and the second factor is an addition of corn flour with treatments such as B1 = 0.04 kg, B2 = 0.08 kg, B3 = 0.12 kg. Data analysis used Analysis of Variety (ANOVA). The results showed the highest average number of fruit bodies was 7.4 (A3B2), moreover the highest average fruit weight was 56.36 g (A3B1). However, the concluded were determined of rice bran and corn flour to planting media can increase the productivity of the growth of white oyster mushrooms with treatments A3B1, A3B2, and A3B3 can produce white oyster mushrooms up to 56.36 g. It can be concluded based the results of statistical analysis that the addition of rice bran and corn flour cannot influence the increase growth productivity of white oyster mushrooms of rice bran and corn flour will increase growth productivity of white oyster mushrooms Keywords: White oyster mushrooms, rice bran, corn flour

Abstract

The research was conducted from February up to May 2017. The aims of this research is to know the level of influence of production factors of land area, seeds, fertilizer and labor to the number of cassava production and to know the level of technical efficiency, price efficiency and economic efficiency. Analysis model used is production function Cobb Douglass and efficiency calculation. Level of influence Factors of production to the number of elephant cassava production is calculated by multiple linear regression analysis using aplication program SPSS 16. The results of the research mentioned simultan eously (F test) with 10% error rate of factors of production have a significant effect on the number of cassava production, partially (T test) shows that the factor of land area production has a positive but not significant effect on the number of cassava production, No significant effect on the production of cassava while labor production factors significantly affect the production of cassava. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the origin of the waste liquid organic fertilizer market and applicaton time on result lettuce. This research began in May to July 2013, located behind the office BP3K Muara Jawa Sub district, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Borneo Province.This research was arranged using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) 3 x 4 factorial with 3 (three) replication. As the first factor is the concentration of POC with 4 levels that are p0= without treatment (control), p1= 2,5 ml POC-1 liters of water, p2= 5,0 ml POC-1 liters of water, p3= 7,5 ml POC-1 liters of water. And the second factor is the treatment time of POC applications with 3 levels that are w1= fertilizer 3 days, w2= fertilizer 7 days, w1= fertilizer 10 days.Concentration and origin of the waste liquid organic fertilizer market is not a real effect on the average plant fresh weight. Results of plant fresh weight was highest at p3 concentration effect is 52,19 g.Liquid organic fertilizer application time origin does not affect the real market waste on average plant fresh weight. The results ofthe highest plant fresh weight at the time the application is w1 is 47,02 g.Interaction between the origin of the waste liquihd organic fertilizer market and application time did not significantly affect the average plant fresh weight. Fresh weight of the plants on the interaction effect of concentration and time of application is p3w3 that 57,09 g.Key word : result, lettuce, the waste liquid organic fertilizer market, applicaton time

Abstract

This research was aim to know the effect using of composts and liquid organic fertilizer concentration toward the growth and yield of soybeans. This reasearch starts from April to July 2017, located Rempanga village, Kutai Kartanegara District.The study was arranged by randomized complete block design (RCBD) factorial 3 x 4 with 3 (three) replication. The first factor was compost doses with 3 levels i.e k0 = control (without using of compost), k1 = 15 t ha-1 (120 g plant-1), k2 = 30 t ha-1 (120 g plant-1). The second factor was the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer with 4 levels i.e. p0 = control (without using of liquid organic fertilizer), p1 = 20 mL L-1 water, p2 = 40 mL L-1 water, p1 = 60 mL L-1 water.The treatment of compost had no significant to the average of  number of planted pods and the number of empty pods per plant but significantly different in weight of crop seeds with the highest weight obtained at the k2 treatment (17,167 g).The treatment of concentration of liquid organic fertilized had no significant effect on the average of   number of empty pods and the number of empty pods per plant and weight of seeds. The highest weight obtained at the p3 treatment (15,222 g).The interaction between compost and a liquid organic fertilizer concentration had no significant to the average of   number of planted pods,     number of empty pods per plant and weight of seeds. The highest weights are obtained in the combination of k2p3 treatment (20,500 g).

Abstract

The low content of colloid material such as clay and organic matter in sandy soil (volcanic ash Regosol) cause the soil less supportive in water and nutrient. Mount Merapi eruption in September 2010 is a natural process. The problem is the amount of ashfall which is different on each place. The legume is suggested to give a better effect on soil fertility due to enrichment of N content in the soil after the eruption.The experiment was conducted in a green house of Soil Departement, Agriculture Faculty of Gadjah Mada University from February to May 2011. The experiment was carried out using two blocks of two factorial arranged in completely random design. Each combination was replicated three times.The results showed that ashfall, chicken manure and cow manure increase slow drainage pore and N uptake. This treatment decrease total porosity, non usefull pores, water holding pores and quick drainage pores. Chicken manure and cow manure tend to generate rate of plant height at first to fifth week of growth. The rate of application of 30 tons/ha chicken manure and 10 tons/ha cow manure resulted in the highest growth compared to other treatments. The treatment of chicken manure tend to increase seed weight and 13.39 tons/ha cow manure tend to produce optimal seed weight. The optimum production of peanut is achieved by addition 10 tons/ha ashfall and 20 tons/ha cow manure. This mixture may be used as a recommendation to produce the optimal fertility condition for the volcanic ash Regosol.Key words: ashfall regosol, ashfall, chicken manure, cow manure, peanut.

Abstract

Response on Growth and Yield of Peanut (Arachis Hypogeae L.) by Potassium Fertilizing and Soil Tillage System.The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the interaction between potassium fertilizer application and soil tillage systems on the growth and yield of peanuts and getting potassium fertilizer and tillage systems optimum for the growth and yield of peanut.The experiment was conducted approximately four (4) months since September 2012 until December 2012 starting from land preparation to harvest. The research was located in the Ponoragan village of Loa Kulu Sub District of Kutai Kartanegara Regency in East Kalimantan Province.Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) was used as factorial experimental design with three times replication. The first factor was Potassium Fertilizer with four levels, i.e. k0 = 0 kg K2O ha-1 ; k1= 30 kg K2O ha-1 equal with 32 g KCl plot-1 ; k2 = 60 kg K2O ha-1 equal with 63 g KCl plot-1 and k3 = 90 kg K2O ha-1 equal with 95 g KCl plot-1. Whilst the second factor was soil tillage system with three levels, i.e. s0 = no tillage ; s1 = minimum tillage and s2 = maximum tillage (intensively tillage).The results showed that application of potassium fertilizer was significantly affected to height of plant, number of pods per plant, number of void pods per plant, weight of seed per plant, number of dry seed per plant and production of dry seed. The highest of dry seed production was reached at k3 = 90 kg K2O ha-1equal with 95 g KCl plot-1 with average 1.61t ha-1.The results also showed that soil tillage system was significantly affected to height of plant, number of pods per plant, number of void pods per plant, weight of seed per plant, number of dry seed per plant and production of dry seed. The highest of dry seed production was reached at s2 = maximum tillage (intensively tillage) with average 1.78t ha-1.Interaction between application of potassium fertilizer and soil tillage system was not affected to all parameters observed.Keyword : Peanut, Potassium Fertilizing, Soil Tillage System

Abstract

A study of the soil moisture dynamics and conservation resulted from the mulch adding and soil amendment was carried out in the Laboratory of Soil Science of Agriculture Faculty of Gadjah Mada University. The experiment was conducted using a Factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of mulch adding (Mo = without the mulch and M1 = with the mulch) and fourrates of soil amendment (Po = 0, P1 = 4, P2 = 8 and P3 = 12 Mg.ha-1). The experiment used Mediteran top soil ( Vertic Eutropepts ). Tensiometers were installed at the 15, 30 and 45 cm soil depths of all plots. Every treatment was repeated three times. The soil properties which were observed included particle size distributions, bulk density, particle density, soil moisture characteristic. Soil temperature, saturated and unsaturated hydraulic conductivity, organic matter, fulvic acid, C/N and HA/FA ratios. Tensoimeter readings were taken daily, diurnal variation in soil temperature at a depth of 15 cm and air temperature were monitored with thermometers. The result of this experiment, generally speaking, showed that the mulch adding decreases the upward flow of the soil moisture and reduces the evaporation rate and then decreases the loss of the soil moisture. The soil amendment from the green manure does not have a role to improve soil physical properties. However, it increases the ability to hold the soil moisture, so the loss of soil moisture resulted from percolation is decreased. In fact, the role of soil amendment to increase the soil moisture content is less than the mulch, and then there is no interaction between the two factors which are tested.Key Words : mulch, soil amendment, soil moisture dynamics, soil moisture conservation.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk Rosasol-N terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil seledri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Febuari sampai Mei 2016. Terhitung sejak persiapan lahan sampai panen. Penelitian berlokasi di Jalan Ikip Mekarsari. Rt 24 Kelurahan Timbau Kecamatan Tenggarong Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 9 taraf dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Taraf perlakuan terdiri dari r0 (kontrol), r1 (0,5 g L-1 air ), r2 (1,0 g L-1 air ), r3 (1,5 g L-1 air) , r4 (2,0 g L-1 air), r5(2,5 g L-1 air), r6 (3,0 g L-1 air), r7 (3,5 g L-1 air), r8 ( 4,0 g L-1 air) .Pemberian pupuk Rosasol-N berpengaruh tidak nyata pada semua parameter, Hasil tertinggi pada perlakuan r3 (1,5 g L-1 air) yaitu 11,04 t ha-1 dan terendah 6,70 t ha-1 pada perlakuan r5 (2,5 g L-1 air).Kata kunci: Pengaruh, rosasol-N, seledri
