Abstract

Pineapple (Ananas comosus L.Merr) is one of prime product in Subang district. High production and low price make pineapple potential to be developed. Variations of pineapple cocktails’s flavor will provide an alternative to consumers in selecting products. The research used Complete Random Factorial Design method with 2 treatments, sugar concentration and different cocktail flavor. Sugar concentrations used were 20% (K1) and 30% (K2) of sugar while the flavor varians were original with the addition of cloves and cinnamon (R1), citrus flavor (R2) and rujak flavor (R3). Analysis conducted include measurement of pH and organoleptic test. The pH content was not significant (P> 0,05) on the treatment of sugar concentration. pH of K1 is 4,33 and K2 is 4,34 R3 gave higher pH value (P> 0,05) (5,36) than R1 (3,80) and R2 (3,69). Sugar concentration give very signifficant effect (P<0,01) on total soluble solid. Interaction between sugar concentration and flavor varians was not significant. The result of organoleptic test of respondents refer to K2R2 (sugar concentration 30% and citrus flavor).

Abstract

Solar power plants are power plants that convert solar energy (light) into electrical energy. Generation of electricity can be done by using photovoltaic or can also called solar cell, which happened at this time, solar cell can not absorb sunlight optimally, because solar cell only silent in one direction (static) therefore needed smart system for generator Solar power for solar power plants to work more optimally, to make the smart system is needed to read data from several sensors. To find the direction of the arrival of the sunlight rays, used four light dependent resistor sensor (LDR). Light intensity data processing, motor rotation direction determination and other sensor data will be done by microcontroller. Then the data residing on the solar power plant will be displayed on the display and measured how much different in voltage, current and power generated by solar panel. Then the output of the solar power plant be compared among the system with tracking and without tracking.

Abstract

Steak is one of the processed meat and physical quality associated with the cooking process, the physical quality in question is texture, pH, and organoleptic.The purpose of this research is to know the effect of roasting in an oven on pH and organoleptic steak of beef that is flavor, aroma, texture, appearance and favorite level.The experimental design used in this study was completely Randomized Design (RAL), with the difference in the duration of roasting time of P1 for 3 minutes (rare); P2 time of overview 5 min (medium rare); P3 is 7 minutes (medium well) and P4 time of curing time is 10 minutes (well done) at 2000C. Parameters measured were pH, an organoleptic test which included taste, aroma, texture, appearance and favorite level with 45 semi-media panelists. The result of treatment of P1, P2, P3 and P4 on average pH of beef before and after roasting did not change, whereas for panelist organoleptic test most liked P4 with the mean of 4,02; aroma 3,98; texture 4.07; 3.93 appearances; and preferred level of 4.09. This research is long roasting using oven does not change the pH steak beef. In general, panelists have a higher assessment on P4 that is viewed from the taste, aroma, texture, appearance, and level of fondness.

Abstract

The use of information systems for institutional management is to help management in knowing what causes the institution's target to be achieved or not achieved. The new student admission process (PMB) is a routine activity carried out by a university every year to get new students. Subang State Polytechnic (POLSUB) utilizes technology in the form of information systems in PMB activities, especially for online registration processes, announcement of results, management of administrative data, and information on PMB.The Importance of the New Student Admissions Information System (SI PMB), there arises interest in discussing and analyzing whether the current PMB SI has been in accordance with the function and checking whether SI PMB can help complete the work in accordance with the objectives. The study was conducted to create a model that can analyze the application of SI PMB by utilizing Operation Management Technique (OMT) and the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) theory as a benchmark of success. This research is still in the process of processing, a temporary product is a model that contains the determination of variables and measuring indicators that will be used in measuring the maturity of the New Student Admissions Information System, as well as the instrument of questions that will be filled by previously determined respondents. The models and instruments made are expected to be used to analyze the maturity of the New Student Admissions Information System at Subang State Polytechnic.Keywords: Maturity Model, Operations Management Technique, New Student Admission.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Subang is one of the universities with a registration system for new student candidates through an independent examination path which is still offline and a decision support system that is taken based on the results of the decision of the meeting from the committee of the admission of new students, department and deputy. From the existing problems, the author tries to build a new student admission selection information system using a decision support system at the Subang State Polytechnic using the PHP programming language, and XAMPP as a web server, MySql as the database so that the process of input and data processing is faster, as well as profile matching method as a method used in decision support systems. With this system, it is hoped that it can help the Subang State Polytechnic in the new student admission selection process using a decision support system.Keywords: New Student Admission, Profile Matching Method, SPK.

Abstract

One of the growing business activities in Indonesia is Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). MSMEs have an important and strategic role in national economic development. However, the use of technology in SMEs activities is still not optimal. SMEs business players still encounter obstacles that still exist, namely, difficulties in the process of monitoring transaction payments, the cost of internet access which is still relatively expensive and more time and effort to understand e-business technology for business people. This study aims to analyze the relationship between factors that influence the adoption of e-commerce by SMEs in the city of Subang by using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model approach. UTAUT is a model to describe the factors that influence intention to use internet technology (e-commerce). The sample in this study were 165 SMEs. Data processing using SMART PLS. The results show that the Effect of PE (Performance Expectancy) on BI (Behavioral Intentions), SI (Social Influence) on BI, BI on USE (Use Behavior) and FC (Facilitating Conditions) on UB is significant. Keyword: e-commerce, Smart PLS, SMEs, Subang, UTAUT

Abstract

The lecturer's performance assessment by students in the form of an online Lecturer Performance Assessment Instrument Questionnaire (KIPKD) is in line with the work concepts of Green Computing by utilizing computer hardware and software better, more efficiently and more useful. KIPKD online POLSUB uses Google Forms, because it has an attractive and responsive look, provides a fairly complete choice of stuffing model, free, the results are neatly arranged and can be analyzed easily. This research method uses literature review in the form of books, journals that discuss about topics related to the use of Google Forms as a medium in the manufacture of questionnaires for surveys and data collection, as well as related to the concept of Green Computing. While data collection methods used in field research by way of observation of the system running in the academic POLSUB. The use of KIPKD online illustrates that POLSUB participates in preserving the environment, with no 12 paper/year rims, equivalent to 12 tree trunks.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi model bisnis canvas yang terdiri dari sembilan elemen dan memetakan bagaimana strategi yang digunakan untuk peningkatan dan pengembangan bisnis kawasan peternakan Kabupaten Subang. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian deskriptif studi kasus. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan sequential exploratory design. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada para peternak dan kelembagaan di kawasan peternakan. Hasil yang diperoleh dimana model bisnis dikatakan sudah baik jika ditinjau dari sembilan elemen menurut konsep business model canvas. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kekuatan kawasan peternakan adalah pada kategori tinggi. Peluang sangat tinggi pada segmen pelanggan dan ancaman tinggi pada value propositions. Maka dari itu, kawasan peternakan Cinagarabogo Kabupaten Subang disarankan untuk melakukan pengembangan bisnis dengan cara; menambah segmen pelanggan yaitu kalangan rumah makan, DKM mesjid dan perusahaan besar, meningkatkan value proposition dengan membuka kios daging dan membuka usaha olahan daging, membuat website, melakukan konsinyasi dengan beberapa sales points dan melakukan kerjasama dengan perguruan tinggi dan mencari freelance web developer.

Abstract

Fish chips are a fortified snack made from the main ingredients of serelia and fish. The purpose of this study was to improve the nutritional value and recommend the best formulation of catfish (Clarias Sp) chips. Completed Randomized Design method was employed-using three different concentration of meat of catfish treatments: 10%, 20%, and 30% with three repetition. Parameters of experiment were crude protein and hedonic test. Parametric data was analyzed with ANOVA; to distinguish treatment, Duncan was employed; to test non-parametric data, Kruskal-Wallis test was employed. The results showed that the increase of catfish meat percentage had significant effect (P <0,01) on protein content. Organoleptic results of flavor and texture, fish chips with meat of catfish as much as 20% is the preferred formulation by panelists. The recommended formulation of fish meat in the manufacture of fish chips is 20%.
