Abstract

Subang State Polytechnic is one of tertiary institution which was established in 2014. As a new tertiary institution this institution certainly competes with other tertiary institutions in obtaining prospective students. Currently, Subang State Polytechnic determines some schools to be visited for socialization activities for New Student Admissions based on the large number of students in the schools at Subang district. However, it does not prove that it has influenced the students to enroll in Subang State Polytechnic. This research highlights the issues involved in each school including the number of graduates, graduates who continue to colleges, graduates who continue to Subang State Polytechnic, average score of school’s national examination, average report card grades, number of counseling guidance teachers, number of college socialization, and the distance from the school to Subang State Polytechnic. As a result, there are 40 schools that are selected to determine as the potential schools do a socialization. The grouping schools use the Fuzzy C Means method and determe the number of groups or clusters use Modified Partition Coeffcient (MPC). The results of the MPC calculation revealed that there are 3 clusters, each cluster has a cluster center and members. In cluster I, there are 9 schools, cluster II has 16 schools, and cluster III consists of 15 schools. The results of the clustering assisted the New Student Admissions committees in determining the potential schools to do a socialization activities and it was a major step towards the success of the New Student Admissions at Subang State Polytechnic.

Abstract

Potensi desa wisata Cibeusi yang belum diketahui banyak orang menyebabkan desa wisata Cibeusi menjadi terhambat perkembangannya. Informasi tentang desa wisata Cibeusi yang masih sulit didapatkan menyebabkan masyarakat enggan mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan sehingga pengetahuan tentang desa wisata Cibeusi menjadi kurang. Sehingga diperlukan sistem yang dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mengakses informasi desa wisata Cibeusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun suatu sistem informasi desa wisata Cibeusi berbasis website. Sistem informasi desa wisata Cibeusi berbasis website dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan Database MySQL. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Tahap pengembangan sistem meliputi analisis, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem informasi desa wisata Cibeusi berbasis website yang dibuat dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk mencari informasi tentang desa wisata Cibeusi.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Subang (POLSUB) sebagai perguruan tinggi yang baru berdiri pada tahun 2014 harus menentukan startegi yang tepat dalam mendapatkan calon mahasiswa baru yaitu dengan promosi ke sekolah. POLSUB menetapkan sekolah yang akan diadakan promosi berdasarkan banyaknya jumlah siswa pada sekolah tersebut, tanpa melihat faktor lain. Penelitian ini untuk menentukan sekolah yang menjadi target promosi menggunakan metode Fuzzy C Means (FCM) dengan menggunakan beberapa atribut atau parameter masukan diantaranya jumlah siswa yang melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi, nilai rata-rata ujian nasional, dan jarak antara kampus POLSUB dengan sekolah. Hasil perhitungan MPC didapat cluster yang paling optimal dengan nilai 0.9702 yaitu tiga cluster. Hasil clustering ini digunakan oleh panitia penerimaan mahasiswa baru dalam pengambilan keputusan sekolah yang akan diadakan promosi yaitu sekolah-sekolah yang berada pada cluster I dan hal ini merupakan strategi utama dalam mendapatkan mahasiswa yang unggul.

Abstract

Project management Information System with Weighted Product method is a system that is built to manage projects in PT. INTI system with the ability to become assessment media experts to assess a project, choosing a project holder with Weighted Product method produces recommendations as well as monitoring and also evaluation on the project to be executed. The purpose of this project management information system is to improve the system of evaluation and monitoring of projects that are still manual, so that with the system is expected work process can be more convenient for data storage to switch into the database. This project management information system is created by referring to the method of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) with waterfall model that has several steps in sequence from analysis to system maintenance. Systems built in the form of applications with Web-based.

Abstract

Payment of tuition as one of the sources of funds, plays an important role in the sustainability of the operations of higher education. The problem that arises is that students are not often late to make payments in a timely manner. One of the factors causing the many cases of late payment of tuition fees due to lack of policy and decisive action on the part of the campus when students are late in making payments, besides the factors of parents and students also have an influence on the delay. The purpose of this study is to classify students who are late and timely in making SPP payments using the C4.5 algorithm. From the total sample used then divided into 4 partitions, partition 1 for 90% training data and 10% testing data, partition 2 for 80% training data and 20% testing data, and partition 3 for 70% training data and 30% testing data, and partition 4 for 60% training data and 40% testing data. The classification results of the C4.5 algorithm are evaluated and validated with a cross-validation and confusion matrix to determine the accuracy of the C4.5 algorithm in predicting late SPP payments. Based on the comparison of the results of evaluations and validations conducted, it shows that data partition 2 has a better level of accuracy than the other partitions, which is 75%.

Abstract

The use of information systems for institutional management is to help management in knowing what causes the institution's target to be achieved or not achieved. The new student admission process (PMB) is a routine activity carried out by a university every year to get new students. Subang State Polytechnic (POLSUB) utilizes technology in the form of information systems in PMB activities, especially for online registration processes, announcement of results, management of administrative data, and information on PMB.The Importance of the New Student Admissions Information System (SI PMB), there arises interest in discussing and analyzing whether the current PMB SI has been in accordance with the function and checking whether SI PMB can help complete the work in accordance with the objectives. The study was conducted to create a model that can analyze the application of SI PMB by utilizing Operation Management Technique (OMT) and the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) theory as a benchmark of success. This research is still in the process of processing, a temporary product is a model that contains the determination of variables and measuring indicators that will be used in measuring the maturity of the New Student Admissions Information System, as well as the instrument of questions that will be filled by previously determined respondents. The models and instruments made are expected to be used to analyze the maturity of the New Student Admissions Information System at Subang State Polytechnic.Keywords: Maturity Model, Operations Management Technique, New Student Admission.

Abstract

Promotion is a marketing communication that aims to attract and convince consumers to buy the products or services offered. Social media as a promotional medium with a wider target market reach and relatively low cost. The purpose of the study was to analyze consumer characteristics based on age range, gender, social media used, product category sought, and product criteria. These attributes are then analyzed using the k-means clustering algorithm. In addition, an analysis of the dominant factors that influence the success of promotion through social media is carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) algorithm. Determination of criteria and sub-criteria through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with 5 MSME actors and 10 consumers. The results of clustering form 2 clusters with an evaluation of the DBI value of 0.089. Cluster 0 members are 44 respondents and cluster 1 are 26 respondents. The results of data analysis show that Instagram, Facebook, and Whatsapp social media users are dominated by women aged 17-35 years. The most sought after product categories are fast food and product review criteria are reasons for consumers to buy. Furthermore, from the results of the dominant factor analysis using the analytical hierarchy process, five dominant factors that influence the success of promotions on social media are obtained, namely Product Reviews, Quality of Service to Consumers, Quality Content, Influencer Services, and Actively Interacting in Online Community.

Abstract

The use of digital media and information technology functioned an important role in the sustainability of micro, small and medium enterprises, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey results of 48 UMKM in Kabupaten Subang stated that they had utilized internet media such as promotions on Whatsapp, and Facebook. However, the business has not been comparable to sales before the pandemic. Some entrepreneurs also expressed a desire to sell products online, but limitations in knowledge and the lack of devices they currently have.  So there needs to be a workshops and assistance to several UMKM with four topics, that are marketing management, re-branding and updating product designs, the use of e-commerce,  and the use of financial management applications.  After the workshop,  it was continued with direct assistance by lecturers and several students to ensure that UMKM have utilized digital media and technology optimally. The last activity is monitoring and evaluation to see an increase in revenue after the use of digital media and technology

Abstract

Whistleblowing is a complaint system and follow-up management of each violation report. The problem that arises is when determining the follow-up, namely determining the severity or severity of the violation and the sanctions given are only based on the superior's assessment without adhering to standard guidelines or rules. This results in the sanctions given not in accordance with the violations committed. The purpose of this study is to classify the types of violations so as to facilitate the determination of sanctions on the whistleblowing system using the C4.5 Algorithm. The partition was performed three times with the highest additional value of 0.8516 and a decision tree was obtained. Based on the decision tree, the final node that has been generated is then extracted into 27 rules. The classification results from the C4.5 Algorithm can be used to classify the types of violations with an accuracy rate of more than 80%. The first validation with 15 tests obtained an accuracy rate of 86.66%. The second validation is the combination of data on 125 cases of combination data and obtained an accuracy rate of 84.8%. The decision tree generated from three partitions consists of 27 rules that can be used as a pattern to classify the types of violations.

Abstract

Currently there are 38 smartphone applications for parents in monitoring the growth and development of children (toddlers) on the Google Playstore, but until now there has not been a single application recommendation that parents must install and there has been no systematic assessment of application quality during use. Of the 38 applications, a selection was made using several criteria and 11 applications met the criteria for further evaluation. This study aims to assess the quality of children's growth and development applications (falling) objectively with the method used, namely the Mobile Application Rating Scale (MARS) which has been validated with 5 subscales namely involvement, functionality, aesthetics, information, and subjective quality. The relationship between overall application quality and user ratings and the number of downloads was evaluated by three assessors, namely application users for more than one year, ordinary users who have just downloaded the application, and coders (parties from the puskesmas). The results of the research from 11 applications that meet the criteria, the average MARS score of the application is 3.5. Although there are many smartphone applications that parents can download, there are three recommended applications, namely About Children. My Prima, and Pregnant Friends. The About Children application has the highest MARS score of 4.36, this application has received a perfect rating of 5.0 since it was officially developed in 2017. The About Children application has been downloaded more than 500 thousand and was developed jointly with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and also the BKKBN.
