Turmeric is a plant that is included in the spice plant category and is also a family medicinal plant (TOGA) which is good for health. However, in the drying process they still use the traditional method of drying in the sun, so this method is less effective because it has to depend on the weather. Therefore there must be a new innovation, namely using a dryer. In this study, the dryer used was an oven that had been designed using a hair dryer as the heat source. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the turmeric dryer with a hair dryer as a heat source. This type of research is a pure experimental research. The research object is an oven-shaped dryer that uses a hair dryer as a heat source. After conducting performance tests, the turmeric dryer can work well. This study uses 3 time variants, namely, 30, 60, and 90 minutes. Testing at 55°C was the most efficient time, namely 90 minutes with an initial weight of 200 grams to 118 grams which experienced higher shrinkage than 30 minutes and 60 minutes. The longer the drying time, the better the drying results.

This research aims to study the optimization of assessments for vocational high schools (SMK) in the Kurikulum Merdeka. The assessment in the Kurikulum Merdeka includes formative and summative assessments In SMK there is a form of assessment or assessment that distinguishes it from other levels, namely: fieldwork practice assessment, Vocational competency test and Competency Unit Examination. Optimization of assessments is done by making good assessment planning including the formation of assessment objectives, formulation of achievement criteria, selection of appropriate assessment instruments and applying high order thinking skills (HOTS). Assessment planning must be clearly illustrated in the RPP or Teaching Module developed, as well as the implementation of the assessment according to planning in the learning process.

The aim of the research is to produce an e-module learning the clutch system in the subject of maintenance of light vehicle power transfer chassis for XI students at SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. This research was developed using the research and development (R&D) model of 4-D by Thiagarajan Sammel. The stages used in the e-module process of the coupled coupling system are the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. This feasibility data collection by using a questionnaire. Material experts, media experts, and students as users participate in surveys to obtain evaluations and responses regarding the feasibility of developing E-modules. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research are e-module clutch system learning media that studies light vehicle power transmission maintenance. The results of the e-module feasibility test were categorized as very feasible, namely from media experts it was obtained 68.05% in the feasible category, material experts obtained 83.90% in the very feasible category, and the results of testing on students obtained 84.88% with a very feasible classification.

DOC brooding period where chicks need heating for development for 14 days with temperatures of 30°C-34°C. During the use of ordinary heating devices, another alternative is to use solar panel-based electric heating because it can save energy sources. The objectives of this research are (1) to determine the effect of variations in the number of coil material turns from 20, 30 and 40 turns on the heat produced by the PV Solar Electric Warmer DOC, (2) to determine the effect of the thermal conductivity of the coil material (copper and nickel) on the heat generated. produced by PV Solar Electric Warmer DOC. The method used is experimental by varying the number of coil windings using thermal conductivity of copper and nickel materials to the heat generated by PV Solar Electric Warmer DOC. The use of variations in the number of coil windings in this study was 20, 30 and 40. The results of this study are the greater the number of coil windings and the type of thermal conductivity affects the heat generated by PV Solar Electric Warmer DOC. In the test copper coil with winding 20 has an average temperature of 30°C, winding 30 averaging 31°C and winding 40 averaging 31°C. When testing nickel materials with the number of windings 20 have an average of 31°C, winding 30 averaging 32°C and winding 40 averaging 33°C. In thermal conductivity testing, nickel coil material reaches the highest temperature of 35° C and copper coil testing reached a high temperature of 32°C

Readiness to implement the independent curriculum implementation is the main thing that supports the success of the curriculum. The Pancasila Learner Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is part of the newly implemented Merdeka curriculum at SMK Karsa Mulya. This study aims to determine the school's readiness based on students' perceptions in implementing P5. Questionnaires were distributed to 75 learners and the scores from the questionnaires filled in by respondents were analysed and converted into qualitative criteria, referring to the Benchmark Approach (PAP) conversion. The variables studied were knowledge, school infrastructure and learner characteristics. The results of the analysis show a value of 4.07 referring to the conversion of the Benchmark Approach (PAP) then X = 4.08 is on a scale of 4 because 3.4 < X "≤" 4.2 category "ready". Thus, it is concluded that learners are ready to implement P5 because the knowledge and school infrastructure are sufficiently available at school, and co-curricular learning is in accordance with the characteristics of learners at the school

Pembelajaran di era metaverse yang didukung dengan kebijakan pemerintah terkait merdeka belajar merupakan suatu peluang bagi mahasiswa untuk belajar tanpa batas dan mengembangkan potensinya. Langkah awal untuk mewujudkan merdeka belajar di era metaverse salah satunya yaitu dengan memperhatikan kurikulum yang digunakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi, member check, dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SCL-STEM dalam kurikulum merdeka belajar terdiri dari beberapa aspek: 1) aspek implementasi model SCL-STEM, 2) aspek implementasi LMS, 3) aspek implementasi virtual meeting, 4) aspek implementasi discuss, 5) aspek implementasi kelengkapan bahan ajar, 6) aspek implementasi kemudahan transfer ilmu melalui video pembelajaran, 7) aspek implementasi kemudahan penyelesaian tugas. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis data yaitu adanya SCL-STEM berbasis metaverse dalam kurikulum merdeka belajar di UNIRA Malang, dapat memberikan kemudahan mahasiswa terutama dalam berinteraksi secara langsung dengan dosen atau sesama mahasiswa melalui platform dan Learning Management System. Hal tersebut mencerminkan model pembelajaran merdeka belajar di era metaverse, karena mahasiswa dapat mendiskusikan suatu permasalahan dengan mudah dan tanpa batas. Selain itu juga dapat meningkatkan potensi mahasiswa teknik mesin.

The clinker cooling process within the cement cooler is a highly significant aspect of cement production. It not only impacts the quality of clinker but also plays a role in heat recovery to reduce fuel consumption in the kiln and preheater. In the cement industry, energy usage is divided into 78% electricity and 22% thermal energy, with almost all thermal energy consumption occurring during the clinker production process (preheater, kiln, and cooler). The performance of the clinker cooler is indicated by the value of the recovery efficiency under existing conditions, which is 69.3%, falling below the standard range of 70-75%. Energy conservation efforts in the cement industry involve utilizing the heat generated from the clinker cooling process as a supply of combustion air for the kiln and preheater. The Reduced Fall Through (RFT) type grate plate system with compartments is unable to properly control the flow of cooling air from the cooling fan to the clinker bed surface. To optimize the cooling process and heat recovery, a redesign of the clinker cooler is carried out by replacing the RFT type grate plate with a Control Flow Grate (CFG) type in compartments five, located in rows 43 to 48. Simulations are employed to support this analysis and design, utilizing ANSYS 18.2. The goal of these simulations is to assess airflow parameters and heat transfer. The clinker cooler recovery efficiency under existing conditions is 69.3%. However, following the technological design process, the efficiency performance increases to 72.9%.

Welding is an important process in the manufacturing, metal and machinery industries, the welding results of students in the 1G Steel ST7 position are studied with the aim of identifying potential weld defects, determining root causes, evaluating and developing repair strategies to improve overall welding quality. The methods used in this research are qualitative and quantitative methods. Measuring welding dimensions with visual weld inspection, as well as liquid penetrant testing to identify weld defects. The data is processed using a Pareto diagram to determine the dominant types of defects that occur in the welding process. Once the dominant defect type is known, analysis is then carried out using the Fault Tree Analysis method. The results of the liquid penetrant test show that there are 8 types of weld defects with a total of 62 defects. In the FTA, basic events have been identified that contribute to the occurrence of weld defects, namely factors such as welding speed instability, incorrect current settings, and moist electrode. Regular evaluation, continuous monitoring and supervision during the welding process to reduce the risk of defects and improve welding quality

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is gas that is formed from the production of oil refineries and gas refineries. An energy source that is widely used in everyday life, especially in cooking and heating applications. The purpose of this study was to examine the strength performance of a 12 kg LPG gas cylinder in the face of external pressure that occurs during normal use. The method used in writing this scientific article is to review various literature and other references related to the analysis of the strength of LPG gas cylinders using SolidWorks software with the finite element method. The results of the analysis of the strength of the structure and the factor of safety obtained are the force test of 7.826e+03 and the theoretical value of 7.827.18385 does not exceed the yield strength value (2.482 x 105). After analysis, it is known that the smallest gas cylinder safety validation value is 1,1 and a maximum of 22.7, so that the material structure is safe and can be used to manufacture 12 kg LPG gas cylinders.

The use of two-wheeled motorbikes as transportation has inspired researchers to increase their use as drivers for agricultural tools and machinery (machines). The machine that will be made is portable so that it can be used by farmers and community service providers to help with post-harvest activities. The type of motorbike used in this research is the Honda Megapro 155cc. This motorbike has a powerful maximum power of 13.3 HP. This research focuses on modifying rice flour machines using motorbikes. Although conventional rice flour machines have made a major contribution to rice processing efficiency, the adoption of motorbike drives brings a new dimension in terms of mobility and accessibility. This modification aims to increase the efficiency, competitiveness and availability of rice flouring machines, especially in rural and remote areas where access to conventional energy resources may be limited. The benefit of this research is to improve the community's economy, especially grater business actors, because with this innovation, business actors can carry out grinding anywhere and of course can move from one market to another and can even carry out grinding door to door. This research method includes planning, machine design, machine fabrication, testing. Based on the research results obtained, the prototype of this grinding/floating machine can function well as proven by good test results. The test results from this research showed that the average time for grinding 1kg rice was 7 minutes 53 seconds and the average fuel required to grind 1kg rice was 150 ml
