Abstract

Developments that occur in companies and entrepreneurs in the marketing department require and entrepreneurs to think creatively in order to be able to survive in this intense competition. Community service counseling was carried out regarding the socialization of the marketing mix to the people of Putat 1 Hamlet, Putat Hamlet, Gunung Kidul. The purpose of conducting this marketing mix outreach activity is to answer the latest problems of the people of Putat 1 Hamlet in developing their entrepreneurship. To improve the economy of the people of Putat 1 Hamlet, develop the potential for processed products, namely the chili pecel product. The 7P marketing mix method is used as a reference in developing the sambal pecel entrepreneurship, especially in the marketing section by the people of Putat Village 1.The results obtained from this outreach activity are the increase in knowledge Putat 1 Hamlet community regarding the marketing of the chili pecel product.

Abstract

Solution developed to improve the structure of human bone in synthetic bone. Composites manufactured from polymethylmetacrylate are frequently employed in the medical field (PMMAPure PMMA, on the other hand, has restricted mechanical qualities, as well as being less compatible, rigid, and non-bioactive. This research will mix PMMA material with hydroxyapatite (HA) material. The material's composition is PMMA: MMA = 1: 1, with a hydroxyapatite (HA) to PMMA powder ratio of 0.50: 1 (w/w). The material will be printed through a 3D Printing machine which has a 1.5 mm nozzle. This 3D Printing machine undergoes periodic development, but the results obtained are not in accordance with the needs, especially the tensile strength of the specimen. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to determine the ability of the 3D Printing machine printing process by optimizing the parameters of the 3D Printing machine. Experimental results and analysis using the RSM method show the machining parameters of the 3D printing machine on PMMA/HA material to get the highest optimal tensile strength at the point of 13,670 mm/s for the perimeter speed parameter, 76,330 mm/s for the infill speed parameter and 33,670% point for the fill density

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat menganalisis keseragaman pendinginan produk plastik injeksi molding dengan variasi sIstem pendingin menggunakan metode Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Variasi sistem pendinginan ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem pendingin terhadap keseragaman pendinginan produk plastik. Studi kasus pada penelitian ini menggunakan produk tempat teh sachet. Material produk plastik yang digunakan adalah Polypropylene yang dipanaskan dengan suhu 490°K. Pembuatan Computer-Aided Design (CAD) produk dilengkapi dengan sistem pendingin pada masing-masing variasi. Desain gambar mold disederhanakan menjadi bagian cavity dan core dengan menggunakan Software Solidwork 2015. Fluida pendingin menggunakan air dan mold-nya menggunakan material steel. Boundary condition pada produk plastik mengggunakan pressure inlet. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode CFD variasi sistem pendinginan yang diusulkan mampu menganalisis keseragaman pendinginan produk plastik injeksi molding. Penggunaan conformal cooling channel system dengan menggunakan metode CFD menghasilkan penurunan temperatur yang lebih seragam dibandingkan dengan penurunan temperatur pada straight cooling channel. Pada penelitian ini, variasi pendingin conformal cooling channel lebih baik dibandingkan dengan straight cooling channel.SIMULTANEOUS COOLING ANALYSIS OF INJECTION MOLDING PLASTIC PRODUCTS WITH COOLING SYSTEM VARIATIONSThis study was aimed at analyzing the simultaneous cooling process of injection molding plastic products with a variety of cooling systems using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method. This cooling system variation was intended to determine the effect of the cooling system on simultaneous coolling process of plastic products. This case study used a tea sachet product. The plastic product material used was Polypropylene. It heated at a temperature of 490 ° K. The manufacture of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) products was equipped with a cooling system in each variation. The mold drawing design was simplified into cavity and core parts by using Solidwork 2015 Software. Water was used as the cooling fluid while steel material was used as the mold. A pressure inlet was used as a boundary conditions for the plastic products. The simulation results show that the used of CFD method in cooling system is able to analyze the simultaneous cooling of injection molding plastic products. The use of conformal cooling channel system using CFD method produces more simultaneous temperature drop compared to the straight cooling channel. In this study, conformal cooling channel variation is better than straight cooling channel

Abstract

Kapal perikanan di Indonesia umumnya menggunakan kayu sebagai bahan utamanya. Selain kayu bahan yang digunakan untuk pembuatan kapal perikanan yaitu komposit fiberglass. Namun, harga dari bahan komposit fiberglass sangat tinggi. Alternatif yang ditawarkan yaitu dengan pergantian matriks fiberglass dengan serat alam. Salah satu serat alam yang melimpah di Indonesia yaitu serat rami. Perbandingan sifat mekanik pada komposit fiberglass dan serat rami sangat perlu dipelajari. Pembuatan komposit fiberglass dan serat rami pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode hand lay up. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini pada pengujian densitas yaitu pada kompoit fiberglass dan komposit serat rami secara berturut-turut yaitu 1,32 gr/cm3 dan 0,93 gr/cm3. Sedangkan pengujian kekerasan didapatkan nilai secara berturut-turut yaitu sebesar 73,23 shore D  dan 56,64 shore D. Pengujian tarik didapatkan nilai kekuatan tarik pada komposit fiberglass 138,65 MPa, sedangkan nilai kekuatan tarik komposit rami sebesar 25,17 MPa. Sedangkan elongansi komposit fiberglass yaitu 7,45% sedangkan komposit rami yaitu 0,54%. Hasil foto makro patahan pada komposit rami memiliki patahan tidak sempurna sedangkan komposit fiberglas memiliki patahan yang memperlihatkan patahan berpenguat tinggi.

Abstract

The amount of plastic waste each year will increase by 10% every year which is a problem for a country. Therefore, proper processing of plastic waste needs to be done. Before being processed into plastic waste processing, it is necessary to have a chopping process using a plastic chopping machine. The plastic chopping machine has an important component, namely the chopping knife. Before carrying out the knife manufacturing process, it is necessary to validate the design of the blade that is used with its loading. Model simulation using software is one way to quickly validate the model. This study aims to determine the effect of loading variations on stress, strain, deformation and safety factors of the model. The use of ANSYS R17.2 software is used to analyze the chopping machine knife model with a variation of 5kg / hour, 10kg / hour, 20kg / hour and 50kg / hour capacities. The result is that the stress, strain and deformation parameters have an increase in value with increasing loading variations. The greatest values of stress, strain and deformation are in the variation of 50kg / hour respectively 64.995 Pa; 336.76 and 56,358 x 10-11mm. The value of the safety factor for all variations of loading has a value of 15. The value of the safety factor means that the design of the plastic chopping knife is safe to use up to a loading of 50kg / hour

Abstract

Berdasarkan program Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan yaitu Indonesia penghasil produk kelautan dan perikanan terbesar 2015, maka dilakukan kegiatan pemberdayaan kepada masyarakat Desa Kemadang. Hal ini dilakukan, karena kondisi geografis Desa Kemadang dekat dengan pantai Kukup, pantai Baron dan pantai Krakal. Sumber daya alam yang dimanfaatkan yaitu selada laut (rumput laut). Sumber daya alam tersebut akan diolah menjadi produk olahan makanan. Namun, masyarakat Desa Kemadang belum melakukan pemasaran dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pemberdayaan terhadap masyarakat Desa Kemadang dengan pendekatan marketing mix (product, price, place dan promotion) untuk menghasilkan strategi pemasaran yang baik. Kegiatan pemberdayaan dihadiri oleh 40 masyarakat Desa Kemadang, dimana 72,5% berjenis kelamin perempuan dan 27,5% berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Untuk menguji tingkat pemahaman pada kegiatan ini, maka dilakukan penyebaran kuesioner pada sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan pemberdayaan dilakukan. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu terdapat 24-28 masyarakat yang hadir pada kegiatan ini memahami materi yang disampaikan.

Abstract

Garbage is an unresolved problem where 14% of the 30% inorganic waste is plastic waste. Efforts in managing plastic waste are reducing the size of plastic waste to be managed. The plastic chopping machine is a tool used to reduce the size of plastic waste. One of the important components in a plastic chopping machine is a knife. Determining the material used for the knife is one of the steps in the knife-making process. Model simulation in material selection can be used to predict mechanically correct materials. The research that has been carried out has the aim of determining the effective material using FEM in terms of meeting the standard mechanical design characteristics of the blade design. As a result, all of the materials submitted meet the design requirements in the manufacture of knives under operating loading conditions. However, the recommended material in terms of technical mechanics in making plastic chopping blades is JIS SUP 9. This is because it has an Equivalent (Von-Mises) Stress value (27,695 x 10-2 MPa), Equivalent Elastic Strain (12,882 x 10-7 m / m), Total Deformation (17,722 x 10-10 m) and Safety Factor (15) optimal simulation results from other materials.

Abstract

Allen key is a tool that is used to tighten, loosen, and remove hexagon head bolts. Auxiliary equipment must be capable of withstanding the weight and contact. To test the effect of deformation and a design's safety factor, an Allen key modelling simulation was used. The ANSYS R19.2 program aids in modelling analysis. The deformation value was about 8.9135mm, the strain was 2.2 x 10-3mm, and the stress was 4.54 x 102Mpa with the greatest value at the load variation of 325N, the deformation value was about 8.9135mm, the strain was 2.2 x 10-3mm, and the stress was 4.54 x 102Mpa. Each loading variation has a safety value of 15, which shows the design, variation, and kind of material that is safe to use up to 325N loading.

Abstract

One of the agricultural technologies that have evolved recently is the weeding machine. This device was developed to aid farmers in the weed-control procedure. The engine frame is one of the primary elements of the weed wacker. The most crucial component of agricultural equipment is the frame or chassis since it serves as the foundation for mounting other parts. To examine the stress and strength of the frame, this study models the frame of a power weeder machine utilizing finite element analysis using the SolidWorks 2022 program. A total load of 120 N is applied to the AISI 316L used for the frame. The analysis's findings indicate that the maximum von Mises stress value is about 2.51 107N/m2, the greatest deformation is 0.556 mm, and the safety factor is 6.8. With AISI 316L material, the frame design of the power weeder machine in this study is safe to endure up to 140 N.
