Abstract

One of the obstacles that researchers encountered in PPT Mawar 01 is the lack of understanding of the child's cognitive to recognize geometric shapes and distinguish similar size. Researcher overcome this problem through the geometry beam game as it can be one attractive alternative as a learning medium. Result of the research using ClassAction Research indicates a gradual improvement in children's ability to recognize geometric shapes. Increased ability to know the geometric shapes seen on the indicator of the ability to know, understand, and apply the geometric shapes in play. Before the given action, the value of the average grade of 33%. After giving the action through learning by applying beam game in Cycle I value the class average increased to 60% and in Cycle II class average value increased by 87% to reach the 75% indicator of success. Its showed that learning with games beam geometry of color can enhance early childhood cognitive development on material familiar geometric shapes. Abstract

In wax plasticine activities, the researcher found a problem that the level of students' creativity was not optimal. He used teaching aids of plasticine wax as solution. This research aimed to increase the creativity of group B students aged 3-4 years. It used action research. It had 2 cycles. Each cycle had 3 meetings. Data collection techniques obtained observation and documentation. The result showed significant improvement after the students got cycle 1 and cycle 2.The data was as follows. Average class during pre-action was 43.9%. Then, it increased 53.8% in cycle 1. In cycle 2, there was a significant effect, it increased up to 80.3%. It included in the category of Very Good Development (BSB) and it considered that it was successful because it had exceeded the 70% value of the number of children in good category. Conclusion, the teaching aids of plasticine flour could increase the creativity of group B students aged 3-4 years at PPT Tunas Mulia Surabaya very well. Abstract

The character center is a vehicle to provide stimulus in the form of knowledge planting, love and the inculcation of good behavior that becomes a pattern / habit. At this early age, a child's character will be formed from the results of learning and absorbing from our behavior as parents and from the surrounding environment. At this age mental development takes place very quickly. The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of character centers in stimulating the emotional social abilities of children aged 5-6 years at KB Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative study. The research subjects were 13 students at Mazraatul Ulum Paciran Kindergarten. The research data is taken through observation, field notes, interviews and documentation while learning. The results of the study state that character center learning can stimulate children's social emotional development as evident from 13 Al-A'rof group children, there are 8 children who are able to be independent in doing tasks, 10 children who are able to wait patiently, 8 children are able to be responsible and 11 children are able to share . Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the learning center of character in stimulating the social development of children in group B in Khadijah Pandegiling Kindergarten Surabaya. Furthermore, it is recommended in implementing character center learning to be able to use the correct procedures so that the child's potential can be developed optimally

Abstract

Language skills affect each other. Before the child is able to speak, read, and write the child first listens. Listening is the earliest ability a child learns among the three other abilities. This is explained also by Tarigan (2008: 2) "in childhood we learn to listen to language then speak, after that we read and write". PPT activities that are able to develop the ability to listen to children through storytelling activities. By telling a child's hearing can be functioned well to help the ability to speak, by increasing vocabulary vocabulary, the ability to say words, train stringing sentences in accordance with the stage of development. The research design used is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were children aged 3-4 years in PPT Tanjung IX Kenjeran Surabaya. From the results of research the ability to listen is the ability that can be possessed by children through guidance, in group A PPT Tanjung IX Kenjeran Surabaya children the ability to listen to children based on research results is still in the developing stages. To reach the stage it has developed and is developing very well the teacher must guide and train the child. The data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model consists of 3 steps namely, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. The conclusion of this study is that the child is in the stage of developing according to the expected indicators. Situation factors are the factors that most influence the ability to listen to children in storytelling activities. The method used by teachers in PPT Tanjung IX Kenjeran Surabaya is the method of recounting, working on it, answering questions and paraphrase

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how self-regulation of SKO Ragunan students. The population and sample from this study amounted to 222 SKO Ragunan Fostered DKI Jakarta Provincial Government consisting of 115 male students and 107 female students. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research that is descriptive in nature. Data is collected by distributing self-regulation questionnaires based on the theory of Omrod (2009). Data analysis is done by making a total score category of self-regulation. The results showed that students of SKO Ragunan Fostered by the DKI Provincial Government who had medium regulation were 86.5% more than those who had high regulation of 13.5%. Besides male students have more good regulation than female students. And students with team or team sports have higher regulations than students from individual sports

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of traffic driving simulations at Qilpi Al Jihad Kindergarten in Surabaya. The author uses a qualitative descriptive method. The author focuses on applying traffic driving simulations with used media to improve discipline in children from an early age. The author observes 4 times meetings. Each of their meetings plays a different role but with the same content. Media used materials used are available at school and have been adapted to the material being taught. The research subjects were the Qilpi Al Jihad Surabaya Kindergarten which numbered 14 students. All students use media from used materials at each meeting for 30 minutes. The results showed that learning media through varied media used materials will make children more enthusiastic and enthusiastic to learn because it is not boring. However, for children who do not understand the traffic signs and regulations that have been explained by the teacher, they will experience difficulties and confusion.
