Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nutrient content of fermented water spinach leaf flour on the content of dry matter, organic matter, and crude protein with different EM-4 levels and their economic prices as an alternative to poultry feed ingredients. The research method used was a completely randomized design (RAL), with five treatments and five replications, where each replication consisted of one container of fermented containers. The variables observed were dry matter, organic matter, and crude protein. The data obtained were analyzed using a variety of analyzes where previously the data homogeneity test was carried out. If the treatment shows a significant and very significant effect, then it will be followed by Duncan's multiple range test. The results showed that the nutrient content of water spinach fermented leaf flour on the content of dry matter and organic matter decreased, while the crude protein content increased, so that it showed very different values (p <0.01) the economic value of making fermented water spinach leaf flour the best is 0.4% EM-4 is equal to Rp.420, -

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the revenue,the explicit cost,income andcontribution of workers in family to total income farming onion . This research was conducted in januari to maret 2017 at Kelurahan Landasan Ulin Utara Banjarbaru. The puposive sampling metode used was by observing 30 farmers in syamsudin Noor who planted land 1-3 ha. The Average result of the revenue is Rp. 17.250.000 / farmer, the average explicit cost is Rp. 5.761.131/farmer, and the average income is 11.488.869, / farmer, and contribution workers in family 18 % greather than workers out family 1,31 % .Because majority of workers used are from the familyto the farmers it self, this affects a lot on the income of onion farming revenue.

Abstract

A method is presented to determine the onset and termination of the wet season, based on forward and backward accumulation of 10 day (decade) rainfall totals. Morris and Zandstra (1979) choose 75 mm accumulated of rainfall as the onset time for the growing season for dry seeded crops, and 200 mm accumulated rainfall for initiation of pudling (wet land preperation of rice fild)The propose of the research is determination of planting season and time of planting low land rice (Oriza sativa Linn) at Lempake village. The research conducted from July until Setember 2012Result of this research showed that  planting season of lowland rice begins at decade III January until decade l November and the first planting time begins Januari and second in May.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to analyze distribution of fishermen household incomes in Sungai Bakau village in Seruyan Hilir Timur Distric and Sungai Undang in Seruyan Hilir Distric of Seruyan Regency. The methode of this research applied survey method using questioners to gather primary data, the number of respondent in this study is 157 people consisting of fishermen in the village Sungai Bakau 70 people and in the village Sungai Undang 87 people. to analyze distribution of family incomes using coefficient Gini Ratio. The result of the descriptive analysis of the family consumption expenditure  in the village of Sungai Bakau and Sungai Undang shows that household expenditure allocated for food consumption is greater than in the non-food consumption. people's income distribution reflected in the Gini Ratio 0.18197 for Sungai Bakau village and 0.20905 for Sungai Undang, this condition indicated a level of inequality low.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the best concentration of garlic extract in inhibiting e coli bacteria proliferation and the best storage time from beef meatballs has been soaked in garlic extract. Deskriptive statistical methods were used by soaking beef meatballs samples in garlic extract with different concentration, namely 0, 20, 40, and 60% for 15 minutes. Then samples are stored at room temperature ranging from 22-31 degrees celcius for 1, 3, and 5 days. The variable observed were e coli bacterial concentration using Total Plate Count (TPC) calculation. The results showed that the best concentration of garlic extract in inhibiting e coli bacterial proliferation was 40% and the best storage time was 1 day but can also be stored for 5 days

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of planting system and cutting age on the level of provision of forage fodder is generated ( fresh , dry matter (DM ) ) and carrying capacity. The research method uses completely randomized factorial design 2 x 4 x 2 replications , using a land plot of 250 m2 per experimental unit . The first factor is the cropping system consists of a type of grass ( R1 ) , TSS models are grass + legume ( R2 ) and the second factor is the age of cutting grass consists of 30 days ( P1 ) , 45 ( P2 ) , 50 ( P3 ) , 60 ( P4 ) , The variables observed is an increase in the production of fresh forage and dry matter (DM ) and carrying capacity. Research indicates that three strata System (TSS) with a superior combination of types of forage legume bushes /shrubs and trees were able to improve the level of production of forage fodder is higher by increased production of fresh forage up to 29.28 % ( R2P3 ) and increased production of dry matter ( DM ) up to 41.39 % higher than the control ( R1P1 ) by planting a single type of grass only. Increased productivity of forages with three strata system   ( TSS ) is also able to increase livestock carrying capacity or a stocking rate of 128 AU/ha/year to 165 AU/ha/year

Abstract

           The fisheries sector has a potential force in supporting development in the region, particularly the nutritional needs of local communities in addition to being a factor of regional economic growth.  Diversification of products processed fishery products into one solution for success in nutrition.  Stick fish into processed products to diversify the selection of raw material use fish that generally only use mackerel fish. The research objective was to determine the organoleptic properties of the product stick fish on the fish raw material and determine the effect of different types of fish as the raw material to the nutritional value of the product of fish sticks. The experimental design used in this study is completely randomized design (CRD) single factor consisting of 3 treatments 3 repetitions.  Treatment use of raw materials of different fish include mackerel, manyung and remang. The results showed that the organoleptic stick mackerel have the highest average total of 8.38 (so ideal) compared with other fish sticks. The use of raw materials of different fish to produce value or nutrient content is not much different. That is very possible manyung and remang fish as the choice of raw materials substitute mackerel fish.

Abstract

The research aim to knowed the Influence Varying Degrees of Tofu Waste in the Broiler Carcass Quality Rasion. The research by the used  ng 80 broilers Strain CP 707 in 5 treatments which each treatment consist of 4 replications, which in every replication consist of 4 broilers. Rasion treatment consist of AT0 (Ration without Tofu Waste), AT10 (Ration 90% + Tofu Waste 10%), AT20 (Ration 80% + Tofu Waste 20%), AT30 (Ration 70% + Tofu Waste 30%) and AT40 (Ration 60% + Tofu Waste 40%). The observed variables is the value of pH, fat percentage and organoleptic test in the colours, textures and aromas. Methode of data analysis using the methode of spectrum analysis and kruskalwallis Complete Random Design Pattern (RAL), if there is a difference between the treatment continued with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT).The result showed that the influence tofu waste the real effect to pH flash and the colour of the carcass, but it is not influenced to aromas, textures, and fat content of the broilers. The highest pH in  ration contain tofu waste 40%  (6,10) treatment while the lowest in control (5,40), treatment highest colour in ration contain tofu waste 10% (3,29) while the lowest in control (2,92) treatment , highest quality in ration contain tofu waste 30% (3,24) treatment while the lowest in control (3,01)  treatment, highest texture in ration contain tofu waste 40% (3,69) treatment while lowest in ration contain tofu waste 30% (3,52), the highest carcass fat in control (1,03) treatment while the lowest in ration contain tofu waste 30% (0,90).

Abstract

This research was a solution to free desease banana kepok yellow which was decrease the banana product in East Kalimantan. This research were devided three years and it would be continued. The first years seedling propagation free desease through tissue culture. The second years the seedling derived tissue culture which was planted on the field, until harvesting fruit product. The third years processing fruit product to several kind of industrial product. The aim of the first years research was the highest number shoot regenerated from the explant center of banana corm, which induction several combination treatment of plant growth regulator Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) and Indole Butyric Acid (IBA). This research conducted at Tissue Culture Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of Mulawarman University, from March until November 2015. This research was used Randomized Completely Block Design with two factors. The firest factor : BAP consist 3 level consentration were : 2,5; 5 and 10 ppm and the secon factor : IBA consist 3 level consentration were : 0; 1 and 2 ppm. So that all of combination of plant growth  regulator were 9 treatments. Each treatments were replicated ten times. Result of this research showed that all combination of concentration treatment of plant growth regulator BAP and IBA could be induce the growth and differentiation of explant center of banana corm in Murashige and Skoog (MS) media, like : inbibition, developed tissue of explant, callusing and shooting, although the percentage and totality was variation. The colour of callus was yellow and light green. While the structure was hard and compact. The highest average number of shoots induction at VII combination treatments BAP 10 ppm + IBA 0 ppm ware 3.80± 1,76 shoots/explant which was the root un completely development. So that it need sub culture to the rooting induction media with IBA 10 ppm to be formed completely plantlet (seedling), which could be survived on acclimatization processing.

Abstract

The food crop subsectors is one of the centers of attention in national development. Various efforts have been made to increase rice production, both through extensification of paddy fields and intensification of planting. South Sulawesi is one of the largest rice production centers in Indonesia in 2018 and deserves special attention in this regard. To be able to find out the right programs and efforts to increase rice production, information is needed regarding the potential and land use in the province of South Sulawesi. The study was conducted with mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative using data from the rice harvest area of South Sulawesi Province in 2018) which was simply analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the results of data processing from the Central Bureau of Statistics, followed by in-depth interviews with six people to capture phenomenon that occurs in South Sulawesi. The efficiency of harvested area in South Sulawesi is currently 176.50 that caused by there is still land that is only harvested once a year or three times in two years so efforts need to be made to increase the efficiency of harvesting area through intensification of cropping.
