Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different composition of plant apu (Pistia stratiotes) for growing maggot (Hermetia illucens) as feed fish. Research conducted from April to June 2018, with experimental research methods using Complete Randomized Design. The results showed that treatment A with an average growth weight of maggot = 89.6 grams and 645 populations was higher than treatment B and C. Treatment A composition of 5 kg of dried apu, 5 kg of bran, 1,5 liters of wine, 1 liter of honey and 5 eggs. The results of ANOVA diversity analysis and BNT test for maggot growth population showed that the three treatments were significantly different. The novelty of this study is the use of P. stratiotes aquatic plants as a place to grow maggots and the fermentation process with wine.

Abstract

Healthy lifestyle has become a new trend to leave the old life patterns that use non-natural chemicals. Such as fertilizers, synthetic chemical pesticides and growth hormones in agricultural production. The point people began to realize, healthy and nutritious food that is high can only be produced with the new method, known as organic farming.  The purpose of the study these are (1) identify the factors that influence the production of organic rice swamps, (2) analyze the efficiency of the use of factors of production in order to create an organic rice production swamp land in Hulu Sungai Utara. The results showed that the value of F count larger than F table with F significant 0,000 <0,05 so that H0 rejected and H1 accepted. This means that the variable land, labor and seeds together real impact on rice production. While the t test, factors that significantly affect the organic rice production is labor and land. The efficiency value of 0.47 and a price of economic efficiency value of 0.35 it does show that rice farming is not efficient because it is worth < 1, and is therefore necessary to add the use of production factors

Abstract

Rubber  plants are one of the important  plantation commodities in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, both as a source of income, employment opportunities and driving new economic centersin East Kalimantan.  However,the low productivity of rubber plants caused many rubber farmers to switch to other sectors. The purpose of this study is to identify internal and external factors, as well analyzing the prospect of developing rubber farming in Margahayu Village.Research has been carried out from July to August 2018 in Margahayu Village, Loa Kulu District, Kutai Kartanegara District. The research method used was surveys and interviews. The location was determined by purposive sampling. Data collected in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection method is done by observation, direct interviews with respondents and library studies. Data were analyzed using SWOT analysis.The results showed that the most appropriate alternative was the SO strategy (Strength and Opportunity), because the strategy had the highest score of 4.32. The development of rubber farming in Margahayu Village can be done with the following alternative strategies: The use of superior clone seeds to increase the productivity of rubber crops, establish cooperation with the government or the private sector for the development of rubber plantations, strengthen the information system among members of farmer groups.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the revenue,the total cost,income and Comparasion of farming padi jajar legowo system with tegel system . This research was conducted in Pebruari to April 2018 at village tambak sarinah tanah laut regency. The puposive sampling methode used was by observing 16 farmers in  village tambak sarinah who planted padi Jajar legowo system and 16 farmers Planted Padi Tegel system . The Average result  Padi jajar legowo system of the revenue is Rp. 22.751.250,-/ farmer, the average eksplicit cost is Rp. Rp 12.243.089/farmer, and income is Rp10.501.912/farmer.. and  Average result  Padi Tegel system of the revenue is Rp. Rp 22.537.500,-/ farmer, the average eksplicit cost is Rp. Rp 13.659.779 /farmer, and income is RpRp 7.097.096/farmer. The Income comparasion effect jajar legowo system is very significant to farming tegel system,  based on result  t student  95 % α = 0,05  (1,3322 < 2.042) . From  this result of development  we believe that this farming Padi Jajar legowo sistem has good prospect and revenue, tecnically and economically.

Abstract

Palm has a fibrous root system, consisting of a primary root, secondary, tertiary and quaternary. In general, palm root system is closer to ground level, however, in certain cases it may penetrate deeper. One of the root functions is to absorb water and nutrients from the soil. Palm roots dispersion can be determined by using the geoeletric resistivity method. Geoelectric resistivity data using Wenner configuration method is measured in three trajectory forming an equilateral triangle on palm plant row with a variation of 9 m (AB / 2) in accordance with palm plant spacing, with potential electrode spacing of 30 cm (MN / 2). Collection of geoelectric resistivity data is done by injecting electric current into the earth through two electrodes, the potential difference is then measured through two potential electrodes. Measurements were performed by varying the distance of the electrodes and potentials, gradually from the smallest distance to the largest. Measurement of palm root dispersion detection consists of 3 tracks (L1, L2, and L3). Measurements on June 24, 2014 carried out on track 1 (L1) between rows of palm plants, track 2 (L2) between the palm plant within the same row, and track 3 (L3) diagonally between the rows of plants (Figure 1). Measurement on July 8, 2014 were on track 1 (L1) is between rows of palm plants, track 2 (L2) and track 3 (L3) diagonally between the rows of plants.Geoelectric on diagonal trajectory where modified biopore infiltration pit is in place resulted in low resistivity values. This is related to soil water availability, where it affects the development of the root towards the biopore pits.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and identify the resources and strength program of Peternakan Sapi Terpadu (PESAT ; integrated beef cattle farm) on the ex mining land at PT. KPC Kutai Timur. The experiment was conducted in September 2013 until the end of 2015. The study used qualitative methods, the survey through a case study on the program. Data was analyzed descriptively to explain in detail each of the resources and strengths of the program. The results showed that the resources and the strength of the mining company in Indonesia, especially by PT. KPC Kutai Timur is a strong capital in order to realize an alternative program or utilization of reclaimed mined land in Kutai Timur..

Abstract

The aims of this experiment was to determine the effect of the application of Agrib Compost liquid organic fertilizer to the growth of bud grafting seedling of Lai (Durio kutejensis HASSK. BECC) var. Mahakam. The experiment used a Randominzed Block Design (RCBD) with Agrib Compost liquid organic fertilizer treatment (P) 8 level and  3 tests made up of  p0 = without treatment (control), p1 = (2 ml L-1 water), p2 = (4 ml L-1 water), p3 = (6 ml L-1 water), p4 = (8 ml L-1 water), p5 = (10 ml L-1 water), p6 = (12 ml L-1 water), p7 = (14 ml L-1 water). The result of the experiment indicated that the treatment of Agrib Compost liquid organic fertilizer, it had a very significant effect to the age of broken buds but had no significant effect to the length of bud  parameters, the number of leaves  and the diameter of the stem. The treatment of Agrib Compost liquid organic fertilizer 14 ml L-1 water, providing better growth in  age parameters  of broken buds, bud length, and the number of leaves.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the technical  processing of candle bush  total cost, total revenue, income and break even point.  The method used in this research is survey method with observation technique participation. The sampling method by means of case studies. Results of this research note total cost at Rp. 631.602.236,7  total revenue Rp. 950.400.000,00 , Profit Rp. 318.797.763,3  and the Break even point in units of  63.600,76 kg, the Break even point in selling Rp. 101.761.218,00.

Abstract

White Turmeric is one of the traditional drug known to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and have a variety of other benefits . Turmeric can grow well in soil that is loose, fertile , containing organic matter , and has good drainage. Manure is an organic fertilizer that is derived from livestock manure , either in the form of solids ( feces ) that mixed food waste , or urine (urine) , have the ability to improve the physical, chemical , and biological properties of soil .The purpose of this study was ( 1 ) to determine the effect of chiken manure application on white turmeric cutting, and ( 2 ) to determine the best dose of chicken manure on white turmeric cutting . This research has been conducted in the Murung Asam’s village, District of Sungai Pandan from March until June 2012. The design used in this study was a randomized block design consisting of 5 levels of Chicken manure ie p0 (0 g) , p2 (250 g) , p2 (500 g) , p3 (750 g) and p4 (1000 g). The results of the study of chicken manure application has significant effect on the rate of growth of buds , length of buds , number of leaves and the percentage grows .
