Abstract

Catfish is one of the potential fish that contains nutrients and albumin were quite high. To provide added value and increase the types of processed fish that can be consumed by all circles both parents, adults and children then performed Catfish processing in the form of fish crackers. In the city of Banjarmasin are small and medium enterprises that undertake the manufacture of Catfish Crackers with the highest number being in the Village Kuin cerucuk which is a tourist area. So far, these efforts are inherited from parents and yet so developed rapidly, while the area is a tourist center that conducted this study to determine Prospects Making Catfish Crackers from technical and economic aspects. Methods of research using census with descriptive and financial analysis. The process of making Catfish Crackers namely: mashed, separation of meat and bone fish, mixing spices, kneading, molding, steaming, cooling, cutting and drying. A total cost of Rp 2,590,008, - with a production of 53 kg, acceptance of Rp 3,767,272, - / month, an income of Rp 1,515,112, - / month, a profit of Rp 1,177,264, - / month, RCR 1,47, BEP price of Rp 48 370, - and BEP production of 37 kg.

Abstract

This study is a diversified processing of fish. The aims of the experiment completely randomized design to study the effect of red bean paste in the processing of fish sausage kerandang (Channa pleurophthalma). Results showed that the addition of red bean paste on the flesh of the fish kerandang very significant effect. The Best fish sausage obtained C treatment, namely by mixing fish meat kerandang creamed 500 grams with 300 grams of red bean paste. Criteria nutritions value generated as follows: protein = 16.45%; Carbohydrates = 24.32%; Fat = 1.07%; water = 58.53%; the average value of organoleptic = 7.41 on hedonic scale. Specifications sausage produced is clean and attractive, distinctive smell of sausage and appealing taste, peculiar taste of fish sausage and tasty, with a texture quite compact.

Abstract

Belida (Chitala sp.) bone is one of the waste from amplang processing which not treated properly yet until now. The aim of this study were to determine the best condition of presto processing time and boiling frequency by protein hydrolysis method based on based on highest calcium obtained and to characterize properties of fish bone powder obtained. This study used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatment and three replications. Observed variable in this study were yield  moisture content, protein content,  fat content, ash content, and calcium content. The condition of treatment were P2R1 (2 hour presto and once boiling), P2R2 (2 hour presto and twice boiling), P3R1 (3 hour presto and once boiling), and P3R2 (3 hour presto and twice boiling). The results showed  the treatment of P3R2 was the best treatment  to obtain highest calcium content of fish bone powder. The properties of belida bone powder that P3R2 obtained were 27.77 %  of yield, 3.12 %  of moisture content, 0.26 % of  protein content,0.91 % of fat content, 88.13% of  ash content, and 30.93 % of calcium content.

Abstract

          Spot transactions peanut producers and consumers in the Village is the cornerstone of Middle Ulin Pasar Jaya subdistrict Platform Ulin there are two patterns of distribution channels, with the level distribution pattern of the biggest marketing margin on institutions village traders at $ 2,600 (44.82%) while the two patterns Rp 3,800 (71.70%). while the level of marketing efficiency in both the pattern is efficient because the marketing pattern of the index amounted to 32.72 Economical efficiency greater than Technical Efficiency Index of 28.35, while the marketing pattern of two Economical efficiency Index 34 is also larger than the Technical Efficiency Index of 33.0.

Abstract

        This Research aim to know technically about effort management broiler Broiler Chicken-Poultry in Plasma PT. Ciomas Adisatwa to Breeder Revenue in Sarang Halang village Sub-district Pelaihari Tanah Laut Regency South Kalimantan Province and to know  about cost, acceptance, and revenue Chicken-Poultry in Plasma PT. Ciomas Adisatwa.  Pursuant to result of research to effort livestock chicken broiler, Totalize product of broiler chicken is 10.200 with mean old age conservancy 31-33 day and able total of wight body 18.856 at the price of selling from Rp. 17.870/kg - Rp. 18.220/kg.  Acceptance obtained Plasma of Poultry of Broiler PT. Ciomas Adisatwa equal to Rp. 338.422.335 with Total Variable Rp. 318.380.000. Earnings effort Plasma of Poultry of Broiler PT. Ciomas Adisatwa in Sarang Halang village Sub-district Pelaihari Tanah Laut Regency South Kalimantan Province equal to Rp. 20.042.335.

Abstract

          The productivity of palm oil plantations are generally still low compared to the potential productivity of the land. Fertilization is an important factor in acheving high productivity, mainly to meet the requirement of nutrient avaibility. The research objective was to determine the avaibility of nutrient in oil palm leaves from the application of organic matter in modified biopore infiltration pit. This research was conducted in palm oil plantation PTPN 13 Pelaihari Tanah Laut,in 2013 and 2014. Sample collection were done by taking a leaf on the 17th oil palm midrib, which was taken using a purposively sampling spread system. The results showed a low level of nutrient content of nitrogen, potassium, and magnisium in plant leaf tissue in the palm oil plantation. Content of Phosfat in optimum level, and Calcium elements found  in a state of excess.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of some alkaline hydrolysis to decolagenation , Ca and P content of chicken bones to produce Special Bone meal. Research using experimental design completely randomized nested (6X2), which consists of factor A are the type of Alkali (filtrat Abu Sekam (FAS) 10%, FAS 20%, KOH 2% KOH 4%, NaOH 2%, and NaOH 4% ) and factor W is the immersion time (24 hours and 48 hours) with each treatment was repeated five. The results showed that the type of alkali significantly affect (p≤0.05) decolegenation, the content of Ca and P chicken bones, while the immersion time factor significantly affected (p≤0.05) decolagenation and P content of chicken bones, but not significantly affect (p>0.05) the Ca content of chicken bones. Special Products Bone Meal best chicken bone obtained from the hydrolysis of chicken bone by 4% NaOH with a soaking time of 48 hours. With the ability decolagenation 60 ± 1.82% and the content of Ca, P, respectively 25.59 ± 0.57%, and 12.57 ± 0.26%

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Total cost and acceptance rice farming which uses the system of planting Jajar Legowo with Hazton planting system; (2) Analyze the rice farming income ratio that uses Jajar Legowo planting system with Hazton planting system; and (3) Constraints faced by farmers in the Ta’ village of the Tanete Riattang Sub-District, especially  combined farmers group which is SIPATOKKONG in transition Jajar Legowo Planting System to Hazton System. Determination of the respondents using Proportional Random Sampling method is 15% taken from each population that is 30 respondents to Jajar Legowo planting system and 30 respondents of Hazton system. The results showed that farm income using Jajar Legowo planting system is Rp.19.865.000 / 1 hectare / planting season and Hazton system is Rp 26.067.000 / 1 hectare / planting season. The result of t-test shows that the income of farming system of Hazton Planting System is significantly different by using Jajar Legowo Planting System. Based on the findings in this study, Cooperation between government and farmers in their respective fields will accelerate Indonesia's dream of becoming a world food barn. Farmers with a myriad of cultivation experiences concentrate on increasing productivity, while the government prepares regulations and regulations to ensure the sustainability of cultivation and distribution of crops produced by farmers. The government requires a significant increase in production, so the government must also protect farmers from the price fluctuations arising from price reductions during harvest time.

Abstract

Palm oil plantations in Indonesia is growing every year due to increased consumption of vegetable oil in line with the increase in the population of the world that are used as food , cosmetics , renewable sources , etc. Challenges in the development of palm oil plantations are problems and negative issues;  land conflicts, damage to biodiversity, and environmental damage issues. Environmental damage caused by palm oil plantations became the object of attack developed countries and Non Governmental Organization (NGO), with the pretext to cause an increase in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions that cause global warming. This research aimed to determine the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in palm oil seedling production. Methods carried out were studying the environmental aspects of a product by Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in which all environmental aspects were analyzed and evaluated throughout its life cycle. Steps in LCA were goal and scope definition, life cycle inventory, life cycle impact assessment, and life cycle interpretation. The result showed that in the palm oil seedling sources of Greenhouse Gas (GHG)  emissions derived from the use of diesel fuel, NPK fertilizer, pesticides, and fungicides. Total emissions of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) is 0.50685 kg CO2 eq / seed. Diesel fuel became the biggest emissions is 0,332 kg CO2 eq / seed or 65.5 % and emissions from the use of NPK fertilizers is 0.1703 kg CO2 eq / seed or 33.6 % of total Greenhouse Gas ( GHG ) emissions in palm oil seedling.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the lowland rice farm income and knowing the lowland rice farm income of farmers in Kota Bangun I Village, Kota Bangun sub District, Kutai Kartanegara District. This research started on July until September 2013, with research location is in Kota Bangun I Village, Kota Bangun sub District, Kutai Kartanegara District.. The method that used is simple random sampling method. The data needed by research are primary and secondary data. Primary data is got by observation and interview with responder use questionnaire which have been compiled in line with research.  While secondary data is got from bibliography study and institution information which is related to research execution. The results of this research shows that : Average of production cost of lowland rice plantation to one season was Rp 242.032.750,00 mt-1 or Rp 6.050.819,00 mt-1 respondent-1.Total revenue farmers was Rp 950.836.000,00  mt-1 or Rp 23.770.900,00 mt-1 respondent-1 and average farm income is Rp 708.803.250,00  mt-1 or Rp 17.720.081,00 respondent-1.Value of R/C ratio was 3,87 meaning that the cultivated lowland rice farm is already profitable then planting a lowland rice can for resumes.
