<![CDATA[Online learning was chosen as the main alternative in implementing learn from home during a pandemic. There are many media that can be used in online learning such as learning videos. Learning videos are a medium for early childhood when they learn from home. Learning videos have components that make it easier for children to learn. Therefore, early childhood education (PAUD) teachers independently should be able to develop learning media. Thus, they can keep assisting students in learning both direct or long distance. This program aims to improve the skills of creative learning videos develop for PAUD teachers. This program collaborates with 3 institutions: PAUD Rumah Balita Pintar, TK Rumah Balita Pintar, and PAUD Setia Bunda in Tanjung Bintang. The program consists of introducing learning videos, training on video applications, and assisting in developing creative learning videos for early childhood. Hopefully with this activity PAUD teachers in Tanjung Bintang are able to developing creative learning videos for early childhood.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i1.4919]]>

<![CDATA[In moving towards adapting to new habits during the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts to revive the economy from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are essential. UD. Delima Jaya, a small wood-furniture firm in Catak Gayam Village, Mojowarno, Jombang regency, targets the local-product development program. The SME empowerment intervention principle consists of 3 elements: Market Needs - Supply chain networks - Internal Capabilities. This principle is applied to an activity program by supporting partners in exploring market needs, selecting new products to be developed, establishing partnerships that form supply chains, involving community members as production partners, enhancing production capabilities, and supporting marketing products personally and creatively. This method has been applied by obtaining market demand for wood and rattan combination products, getting partners for marketing, and bringing partners with production expertise. The training was held for 1 week in July 2020 at PPPUD partner locations by involving local women, with two instructors from outside Jombang. The training results show the fast mastery of skills among the participants and the quality of products made. <![CDATA[This community service was carried out at Poso Regency in June to November 2019. Its purpose was to provide training and assistance to partner in utilizing and processing coconut fiber as agricultural waste into organic fertilizer of ash to be applied to waxy corn crop. The method of activity includes: (1) Explanation regarding the process of making organic fertilizer with raw materials of coconut fiber wastes, and economic aspect of utilizing coconut ash organic fertilizer; (2) Production activity in the form of the coconut ash organic fertilizer processing training, the fertilizer application to crop, and profit farming analysis to measure turnover increasing; (3) Partner assistance during the training and productions processes. Partner consists of farmer who belongs to the category of economically productive.  Results demonstrate that the program implementation has given improvement to technical and economic achievements of partner’s farming. The improvement of waxy corn production was from 0.90 tonnes/hectare to 3.912 tonnes/hectare, whereas the increased farm profits was from IDR 2,600,000/ha/planting season to IDR 16,066,000/ha/planting season. A high level of partner’s satisfaction to cooperation and activity outcome on partner’s productive business was an incentive to continue adopting coconut ash organic fertilizer technology in his subsequent farming activities.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i1.4988]]>

<![CDATA[Selat Hilir Sub-district is one of crowded areas (slums) located near the market and riverside. In several crowded areas many stay-home mothers’ ages of 30-46 who went to school up to Junior High School (SMP) have much spare time. One of these groups is the group of RT.017 Selat Hilir Sub-district who generally manage their household without adequate skills. The potency of Home Industry Patchwork Art and Quilting of Dayak Batik as innovative interior design product can become a solution in an effort to increase family income and to increase the people’s prosperity in Selat Hilir Sub-district, by making products from wasted fabrics into a high end and high-priced products in Kuala Kapuas. Also, making such artworks and products is still something new which people of Central Borneo aren’t familiar yet. Therefore, a training is required. The training is as followed: (1) preparation of module of basic knowledge of patchwork art and quilting and try out; (2) excecution, making patterns, printing patternts to fabrics, cutting and sewing; (3) evaluation, some products from training are tablecloths, pillow cover, flower pot base, doormats and face masks. <![CDATA[In the new normal era, many company leaders have restarted their business places for economic turnaround. The workplace has a major contribution to the spread of COVID-19 so efforts need to be made to break the chain of transmission. The workplace is a gathering place for a number of working populations and mobility is so high, work activities also lead to worker interaction. This community service aims to giving knowledge how to prevent COVID-19 transmission in office or industry and giving knowledge how to make beverage rich in antioxidant and vitamin C to boost immune system. This community service consists of several steps including the preparation step which includes determining the time for the implementation of counseling, making material modules, making flyers and distributing flyers. The next step is the implementation step which includes the delivery of material, questions and answers regarding extension materials and demonstrations of making Lemongrass Coolant. The implementation step was done by zoom online media the final step of this activity is evaluation by filling the questions using Google Form. The participants were 41 people who work as lecturer, human resources department, undergraduate students, government employees, etc. Prevention of COVID-19 transmission is carried out by complying with the guidelines for the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK. 01.07/MENKES/328/2020. Making Lemongrass Coolant as a healthy drink rich in antioxidants as an immune booster does not require expensive ingredients and is also easy to manufacture. <![CDATA[Bohulo Village, North Gorontalo District, is mostly agricultural land planted with rice and maize. The abundant maize yields in the area have not been followed by maximum utilization. The problem is, the farmers' ability to sell their crops is limited. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the use of crops, especially corn, into processed products that can increase community income, namely in the form of corn brownies. The purpose of this community empowerment program is technology transfer to increase the economic value of corn. This approach method is a participatory method consisting of site surveys, training and evaluation. This activity shows the enthusiasm of the community, especially the women in Family Welfare Education or PKK, corn farmers, and community leaders in Bohulo Village. Corn that is processed into various kinds of food not only adds attractiveness but also provides opportunities to increase income so that it can improve community welfare. <![CDATA[The macroeconomic growth in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) has shown changes for the better in var-ious fields. This improving economic growth has also had a positive impact on the retail business sector. This is indicated by the increasing interest of the people of Kupang city towards wooden furniture. However, the increasing public interest in furniture is a challenge for furniture entrepreneurs to be able to meet these needs. UD. Gusti Karya is a micro business unit that produces furniture in the city of Kupang. UD. Gusti Karya has started its activities since 1997, but until now the turnover generated has continued to decline due to the limited functionality of the furniture machines used. This activity is part of the PPPUD Program in partnership with UD. Gusti Karya. This activity aims to provide solutions to problems that are being faced by UD. Gusti Karya, which is a micro business unit that produces furniture in the city of Kupang. The solution given is related to productivity problems, by providing assistance and the application of more modern multi-functional furniture machines. Because according to partners, so far, they still use manual equipment more, so it is necessary to implement machines that have more modern technology than those currently available. <![CDATA[The dominance of the use of synthetic detergents is tends to be high, especially in RT 54 neighborhood Karang Joang Village, North Balikpapan. The use of packaged detergent that produce B3 waste is still unknown by the residents. In addition, the absence of waste management and particular disposal systems also contribute as a negative impact on the environment. The training and socialization activities for making environmentally friendly detergents were carried out to provide information about the basic ingredients for eco-friendly detergent using Methyl Ester Sulfonate (MES) as a vegetable surfactant, as well as to encourage participants to be able to make detergents independently. The method used in this activity is demonstrations by explaining the stages of manufacture. The process of making detergent is carried out through the preparation stage, the making process and recording in video, using simple tools and materials. Video demonstrations were published on social media so that the dissemination of information was wider than the initial target of the activity. Through this activity, the results obtained were that the stages of making detergents that were not too complicated, so it could be easily understood, especially with a video guide that could be accessed at any time.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i1.5025]]>

<![CDATA[The training program aims to increase knowledge of digital literacy. It improves skills in the use of digital platforms, especially Google Suites in Islamic Education learning, and increase creativity in making PAI subjects using PowerPoint software for Islamic interns in Yogyakarta City. Several planned activities in implementing the digital platform optimization program for Islamic Education teachers in Islamic boarding schools proposed to address these different problems, namely as follows: socialization of digital literacy requires content. Then Google Suites and PowerPoint optimization training for Islamic Education learning. Training lasts four days, with a total meeting length of approximately 700-800 minutes for each session. The participants were 12 PAI teachers from several Islamic boarding schools in Yogyakarta who randomly chosen. Training begins at Even Semester and the Odd Semester. Several presenters are involved in the training, namely one digital media specialist, two lecturers on educational technology, and two students. The outcomes to be achieved from this training program are: increasing the knowledge and understanding of teachers about the needs of digital literacy. Then enhance the abilities of teachers to use the Google Suites tool. <![CDATA[The implementation of Basic School Literacy Movement is supposed to be a shared responsibility, namely among parents, family, teachers, and the nation. But, notwithstanding it, this movement faces various obstacles in its implementation, including the students' reading and writing abilities, the parents’ economic background, and the competence of teachers as the central agents in the Basic Literacy Movement. These obstacles are being faced by YBPK Christian Elementary School Malang City. Thus, this community service programme aims at assisting and supporting the school in carrying out basic literacy movement in the development stage. The programme design includes two activity by considering teachers and student sides. The teachers were provided with training on how to teach basic literacy and with assistance in implementing the teaching method in development stage of literacy. The students were given activities designed to focus on achieving Story Discussion skills. Toward this end, teachers and students were equipped with Literacy Love Board Method as a tool to recognize and appreciate students’ active participation in the daily reading literacy.
