Abstract

Mukti Adelia Jaya Trade Business is one of the innovation product trading business by utilizing bananatree waste such as dry leaves and banana cultivation. This business is located in Gading, PasuruanDistrict, East Java. In this modern era, innovation is needed to create new products in order to create newopportunities in society. Some promotional techniques have been done by partners, but until now thisTrade Business with its products still not widely known by the public. Therefore promotional techniquesshould be changed in accordance with the developments that occur in this society. In addition, the lack offunding or capital factors experienced by partners to be able to develop and promote its products. Themethod to be used is promotion of products over the internet, to enhance the promotion of innovationproducts as well as to provide designs for the commercialization of innovative product packaging. Internetbranding is offered to create a system consisting of websites that will connect with social media as amedium for sales and product promotion. The result of this community service program is that partners areable to build a brand digitally and able to publish innovation products with more commercial packaging tothe public, thus the production and sales process will increase.

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PENMAS) were held in August 2018 in Kapas, Bojonegoro with a target audience of SMKN 4 communities, totaling 107 people, consisting of students majoring in Cooking, members of Dharma Wanita, Chefs from 2hotels, several UMKM Food and Beverages around the school, teachers and partisipants from other schools. The activity was also attended by the Principal, the Head of the Education Office who witnessed the signing of the MOU between the PENMAS Team and the school. One of the Departments managed by SMK 4 is Tata Boga with thelearning outcome to prepare entrepreneurs or businessmen of food products. As a vocational school that has held the ISO 9001 2008 certificate, the school is obliged to prepare graduates according to the demands of their competence. Based on preliminary studies, information was obtained that there were several problems related to food consumption and production and government regulationin the case of traded food businesses. The training materials provided in this training were: Food business production regulation (1), How to make good food (2),Ingredients additional allowable food (3), Prohibited food additives and substitute alternatives (4), Good packaging methods and techniques for food and beverage (5), Halal Assurance System (SJH) and Halal food product Certification Process (6) and Simple marketing for food business (7). Based on the evaluation of the pre-test and post-test resulted that after the training participants' understanding showed an increasing trend. Three topics that showed a significant increase in understanding were: Requirements for clean and healthy food (1), Introduction of food coloring logos (2), and Examples of halal food ingredients (3). PENMAS activities will be followed up with intensive coaching activities for students of SMKN4 which are included in the group of beginner beverage food businesses.

Abstract

Pencanangan kurikulum yang menekankan pada keterampilan proses siswa yaitu kurikulum K13 dan K13 revisi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa agar dapat bersaing di dunia kerja. Sebelum pembelajaran di kelas dapat melatihkan keterampilan proses tersebut seharusnya guru sudah lebih dulu memiliki keterampilan proses yang mumpuni dan sering menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Namun sering kali guru mengalami kesulitan dalam melatihkan keterampilan ini kepada siswanya ketika melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Sebagai salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut, tim pengabdi mengambil lokasi pelatihan model pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan proses sains di MGMP Kimia Kabupaten Kediri. Kabupaten Kediri terletak sekitar 119 km dari Surabaya dan dapat ditempuh sekitar 2 jam 30 menit menggunakan kendaraan roda empat. Harapan utama dari program pengabdian ini adalah agar guru memiliki pengetahuan dan pengalaman mengenai keterampian proses sains.

Abstract

The results of the initial situation analysis show that there are still many chemistry teachers who aremembers of the Kediri Regency Chemical MGMP who have not yet carried out practical activities.Practicum is still felt as an activity that is burdensome and time-consuming, both in terms of preparation ofpracticum instructions and tools and materials used. One alternative is to provide understanding andexamples of interesting practicum and still be able to practice skills and knowledge. The choice of inquirylearning model is based on the fact that inquiry-based practicum will encourage students to be activelyinvolved in discovering their own concepts or knowledge through practicum using scientific methods thatare assisted by practical instructions. Based on the community service activities that have been carriedout, it can be concluded that this community service activity has proceeded as planned. Based on theresults of the questionnaire, this service activity is very useful for partners in an effort to improveunderstanding of teacher competencies, particularly regarding understanding of inquiry, inquiry-basedpracticum, and using pipette and burette tools as a means to improve the competence of chemistryteachers who are members of the MGMP. Even based on the results of further questionnaires, partnersexpect increased activity, in terms of quantity, or in terms of other material delivery.

Abstract

In accordance with the mandate of the Minister of State Regulation on The Empowerment of State Apparatusand Bureaucratic Reform No. 16 of 2009 on the Functional Department of Teachers and Credit Figures Onecomponent of scientific publications assessed for the needs of teachers is the writing of class action researchreport. Teacher activities that produce class action research reports. Not all teachers want to work.Moreover, on the other hand, there are still many cases of plagiaris selling scientific papers in the world ofEducation. Teachers from different regions have partly written Class Action Research Reports, but manyare still unable to write Class Action Research Reports. The purpose of this activity is to improve the skillsof teachers in writing Class Action Research reports based on Credit Score Assessment. The target groupin this activity is teachers at the primary and secondary education level in East Java who have an interestand have great potential in writing the Education Class Action Research Report. The activities are carriedout in 5 stages, namely analysis of training needs, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.The results show that teachers already have the knowledge and skills to write Class Action Research reportsin accordance with credit score assessment standards.

Abstract

The cow milk collected in KUD Batu has reached 16-17 tons per day. The most product is fresh dairy milk and only small amount of processed products. The target community had no experiences in processing cow milk using probiotic microbes yet. The objectives was transfering of science and technology about the production of probiotic milk combined with fruit juice. This program was specifically directed to increase the empowerment of Kelompok Wanita Tani "Wonoasri" in Wonorejo-Batu, in developing probiotic dairy products combined with fruit juice to increase the diversification of products with higher economic value. The method included workshop and technical assistance, which were carried out in a serie of steps: 1) exploring the knowledge of target by surveys and pre test, 2) lecturing and discussion, 3) demonstrating how to prepare and characterize the probiotic milk products, 4) training of product preparation, 5) product characterization and packaging assistance, 6) evaluation. The results were the target community gained increase in knowledge and experience, and they could produce fruity probiotic milk. In addition, they would increase their understanding and enthusiasm to appreciate the potency of their territory in order to improve the nation's competitiveness. Key words : probiotic milk-fruit juice, workshop, kelompok wanita tani, wonorejo
