Abstract

  Visual Communication Design of Media Campaign For Second Album Band Black Metal Doom Blasphemy "lelembut", Final Visual Communication Design Academy of Art and Design Indonesia Surakarta.At this final duty the writer makes a visual design of a media campaign konunikasi band's second album Doom Black Metal Blasphemy "lelembut". Abstract

Designing Media Promotion Institutions English Languange Training Internasional (ELTI) In English For Kindergarten Program Through Print Media Ad with illustration techniques.Our country to  realize that mastery of English is essential to face global competition. Emerged a new paradigm in which the parents have started to invest the knowledge their children to learn English from an early age. The design of this media campaign raised the issue of how to make the formulation of an effective media campaign through illustration techniques to image / image ELTI English for Kindergarten institutions could be created. The purpose of designing a media campaign is to determine the effectiveness of promotional media ELTI English for Kindergarten through illustration and image formation approach of the institute. Method of designing a media campaign is persuasife method, in which the design is not attractive in terms of promotion of the visual, but there is an element so that consumers may be interested pengajakan.The design of this media campaign was known that the effectiveness of the promotion of English for Kindergaten ELTI illustration of the technique is high, it is justified because the selection of the line bellows media devastating directly to consumers.

Abstract

Character education prioritizes the formation of students' character which refers to the multiple intelligent method or multiple intelligences. A multiple intelligence is not only seen from one's logical intelligence, but also intelligence in having the ability to solve problems, character education aims at inculcating knowledge, love, sensitivity, discipline awareness, independence and creativity in children, which is to promote the cultivation of noble character in oneself. protege. SDII Al Abidin Surakarta applies a character education curriculum in its teaching and learning process. Elementary school age has sensitivity in receiving information in visual form. Especially visuals in the form of figures, so that in introducing and familiarizing students at SDII Al Abidin Surakarta, they need figures. Figures that represent the character of the students of SDII Al Abidin Surakarta. Based on this, it is necessary to research on the elements forming the character figure of SDII Al Abidin Surakarta character education by using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques by means of interviews.

Abstract

Wayang Jawa (shadow puppets) in the form of traditional paintings as cultural heritage of the ancestors have also inspired the number of artists who are members of Bunga Rumput in creating works of art with aesthetic value. The efforts of these artists can be read as resistance to the entry of works of art from outside that ignore the character of Indonesia. This study aims to discuss the aesthetics of the visual ceiling works that apply shadow puppet ornaments. Methods of data collection is done by observation and documentation. The results showed that the visual aesthetics of this ceiling product with wayang kulit ornaments seen from unity, harmony, symmetry, balance, and contrast are quite good, although not optimal. Besides that, the visual aesthetics of the ornaments of these ceiling works have not shown good complexity, so the beauty obtained is not optimal. The assessment of visual aesthetics in this work is subjective, so it is very possible that there are different assessments. The conclusion that can be conveyed is that aesthetics can be achieved by elevating the traditional culture of the past and at the same time as a form of appreciation for that culture and being a differentiator in the midst of the rise of Chinese painting in Indonesia. The design of the end-of-duty fashion is to create a formal dress design that combines both the source of the idea and the style of dress that has been selected. Abstract

The design of fashion in this final project aims to create a party dress design that combines the source of ideas and fashion styles that have been selected, namely elegant fashion style. The source of the idea of this design is lawang sewu. Lawang sewu is a building in the city of Semarang, Central Java, which has 600 doors and windows. The material used in this design is silk cotton with modern motifs designed according to the theme, namely Lawang Sewu. Abstract

The fashion design in this Final Project aims to create a special party fashion design that combines the source of ideas and selected fashion styles. The source of the idea for this design is Cubism "Two Face of the Girls" itself is poured into clothing with the application of pacth wrok and using traditional lurik material, while the fashion style is Harajuku Style using original clothing from Japan such as Yukata and Kimono. The type of clothing chosen is a special themed party dress. The material used in this design is linen cotton and hemp cotton for the Cubism motif. Abstract

The development of an increasingly modern and advanced era makes designs or models experience rapid development. In meeting the times, both in terms of design and quality of workmanship. the technique of applying ornaments will increase the selling value of a batik leather shoe product which is still rare for batik leather shoe products on the market. The concept of making shoe works is taken from the form of the kawung batik motif, namely an ancient batik motif consisting of an arrangement of elliptical (oval) shapes that have four equal sides. exploration stage, design stage, and embodiment. Application of kawung motifs on leather as shoe decoration using batik techniques. Batik techniques on leather media are almost the same as batik techniques applied to cloth media. The development of the kawung batik motif in functional works such as women's shoes is expected to be a new breakthrough to create other functional works that take the theme of tradition, especially the tradition of the archipelago into contemporary fashion works. Abstract

This final project takes sunflowers as a source of ideas to be developed into designs and then realized in the form of children's clothing using tapestry, knitting, and pattern magic techniques, in order to explore techniques in developing sunflower motifs in 3D clothing. For the purpose of using the source of the idea of ​​​​sunflowers because sunflowers themselves are a depiction of optimism and joy that are suitable for the concept of children's clothing. The method used in the process of creating this fashion work is through design exploration (concepts, determination of the chosen concept then design development from the concept, determination of the selected design, experimental techniques used, determination of the right technique from experiments), execution of works (pattern making, pattern cutting, etc.) making tapestry, laying patterns on fabrics, cutting fabrics, sewing processes, and finishing. The final product is three stage children's clothing with artsy style that uses a combination of tapestry and knitting techniques and the use of ATBM lurik fabrics as traditional fabrics. The choice of lurik cloth in this work is due to the appreciation and respect for traditional Indonesian fabrics and their motif were many variations. Keywords: Cheerful, Optimism, Sunflower
