Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan konseling kelompok behavioral teknik self-management untuk meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen waktu siswa SMA Islam Almaarif Singosari yang tinggal di pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan model one group pre-test and post-test design. Subjek penelitian sejumlah lima orang siswa SMA Islam Almaarif Singosari yang dipilih berdasarkan penjaringan menggunakan Skala Manajemen Waktu. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Skala Manajemen Waktu dan Pedoman Pelaksanaan Konseling Kelompok Behavioral Teknik Self-Management. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok behavioral teknik self-management efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen waktu siswa SMA Islam Almaarif Singosari yang tinggal di pondok pesantren. Effectiveness of behavioral group counseling using self-management techniques to improve Islamic boarding schools students’ time management ability AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of behavioral group counseling using self-management techniques to improve Islamic boarding schools students’ time management ability. This study used one group pre-test and post-test design model. The research subjects were five students of Almaarif Singosari Islamic High School who were selected based on the selection using the Time Management Scale. The research instrument used was the Time Management Scale and Guidelines for the Implementation of Behavioral Group Counseling Self-Management Techniques. The results showed that the behavioral group counseling using self-management techniques was effective to Islamic boarding schools students’ time management ability.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: mengidentifikasi kontribusi simultan dari kepercayaan diri akademik dan self-efficacy akademik ke nilai akhir matakuliah Statistik Inferensial; mengidentifikasi kontribusi parsial kepercayaan diri akademik ke nilai akhir matakuliah Statistik Inferensial; mengidentifikasi kontribusi parsial dari self-efficacy akademik ke nilai akhir matakuliah Statistik Inferensial; dan mengidentifikasi kontribusi kepercayaan diri akademik dan self-efficacy akademik pada nilai akhir matakuliah Statistik Inferensial. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: ada kontribusi simultan kepercayaan diri akademik dan self-efficacy akademik padanilai akhir matakuliah Statistik Inferensial; belum ada kontribusi parsial kepercayaan diri akademik pada nilai akhir matakuliah Statistik Inferensial; ada kontribusi parsial dari self-efficacy akademik pada nilai akhir matakuliah Statistik Inferensial; dan kontribusi kepercayaan diri akademik dan self-efficacy akademik untuk nilai akhir kursus Statistik Inferensial sebesar 42,90%. Contribution of self-confidence and academic self-efficacy to students' final semester grade AbstractThe objectives of the study were to: identify the simultaneous contribution of academic self-confidence and academic self-efficacy to the final grade of Inferential Statistics course; identify the partial contribution of academic self-confidence to the final grade of Inferential Statistics course; identify the partial contribution of academic self-efficacy to the final grade of Inferential Statistics course; and identify the contribution size of academic self-confidence and academic self-efficacy to the final grade of Inferential Statistics course. In conducting the study, the quantitative method was implemented. Results showed that: there has been simultaneous contribution of academic self-confidence and academic self-efficacy to the final grade of Inferential Statistics course; there has not been partial contribution of academic self-confidence to the final grade of Inferential Statistics course; there has been partial contribution of academic self-efficacy to the final grade of Inferential Statistics course; and the contribution of academic self-confidence and academic self-efficacy to the final grade of Inferential Statistics course has been 42.90%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan mengontrol emosi siswa jurusan kriya dan siswa jurusan teknik informatika (TIK) SMK Negeri 5 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif komparatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melancarkan inventori Emotion Control Questionnaire/ ECQ2 yang diadopsi dari Derek Roger & Bahman Najarian. Teknik pengambilan sampel untuk siswa Jurusan kriya adalah total sampling. Teknik pengambilan sampel untuk siswa jurusan TIK adalah multistage cluster random sampling. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa emosi siswa jurusan kriya dan siswa jurusan TIK di SMK Negeri 5 Malang tidak memiliki perbedaan signifikan. The controlling emotion skills difference between the department of crafts student and IT Department Student of vocational education AbstractThis research to determine the differences in emotional control of high schools' Department of Crafts and IT Department students in Malang. This study used a quantitative approach. The design was a comparative descriptive. Data collected by using ECQ2 adopted from Derek Roger & Najarian Bahman to students. Sampling techniques Department of Crafts students is a total sampling. Sampling techniques IT Department students are multistage random cluster sampling. The conclusion is emotional control of the Department of Crafts And IT Department students in SMKN 5 Malang don't have a significant difference.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika materi bangun ruang menggunakan alat peraga. Jenis metedologi penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VB SD N Gedongkiwo yang berjumlah 11 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Dari hasil angket siklus I diperoleh rerata yaitu 114 pada kategori tinggi pada interval 99 ≤<117. Hasil angket siklus II diperoleh rerata 132 kategori sangat tinggi pada interval 117≤  <144. Hasil belajar menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai pratindakan sebesar 57,67 dengan ketuntasan belajar 19,05%, meningkat menjadi 69,84 dengan ketuntasan belajar 52,38%, dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 71,43 dengan ketuntasan belajar 76,19%. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan alat peraga sehingga siswa akan lebih mudah memahami konsep atau materi yang abstrak. Increasing motivation and mathematics learning outcomes through teaching aids in elementary school students Abstract: This study aims to improve motivation and mathematics learning outcomes in building materials using teaching aids. This type of research methodology is classroom action research. The research subjects were students of class VB SD N Gedongkiwo, amounting to 11 boys and 10 girls. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive and quantitative analysis techniques. From the results of the questionnaire in cycle I, the mean score was 114 in the high category at intervals of 99 ≤ <117. The results of the second cycle questionnaire obtained that the mean of 132 categories was very high at the interval 117≤ <144. The learning outcomes showed an increase in the average pre-action score of 57.67 with learning completeness 19.05%, increasing to 69.84 with 52.38% completeness learning, and the second cycle increasing to 71.43 with 76.19% completeness learning. For further researchers, it is hoped that they can develop teaching aids so that students will more easily understand abstract concepts or material.

Abstract

The learning capacity aims to bring multidimensional changes in human life aspects for the better. However, in the reality, both teachers and students struggle to carry out an effective learning process. Learning becomes meaningless which causes low conceptual understanding of students on what they learn. Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is one learning model that can help students associate the lesson with their life context and make sense of things they learn. Therefore, this research aims to (1) elaborate on the significance of students’ conceptual understanding, and (2) elaborate on the effectiveness of CTL in improving conceptual understanding of primary students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and the result shows that CTL is effective to help teachers carry out a meaningful learning experience to improve students’ conceptual understanding. It is recommended that (1) CTL can be implemented with various learning methods and media according to the learning environment and students’ characteristics, (2) apply CTL consistently in a period of time, and (3) manage the time well so all components in CTL can be performed as a whole.
