Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memetakan praktik guru dalam mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS), (2) mengevaluasi langkah pengembangan instrumen, (3) menilai kelayakan instrumen melalui validitas dan reliabilitas, serta (4) menggambarkan tingkat HOTS pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi kelas XI di SMA Negeri Sub Rayon V Klaten. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model Borg & Gall yang dimodifikasi. Perumusan butir mengikuti tahapan konseptual yang menekankan penjabaran indikator HOTS dan penyusunan stimulus kontekstual. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 155 siswa kelas XI IPA. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes; validasi isi dilakukan oleh pakar menggunakan analisis Aiken’s V, dan analisis butir dilakukan dengan Iteman 3.00. Hasil menunjukkan: (1) guru pada umumnya belum melaksanakan pengukuran HOTS secara sistematis; (2) tahapan pengembangan mencakup studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba awal, revisi, uji coba akhir, dan finalisasi; (3) terbentuk 16 butir yang dinyatakan valid berdasarkan penilaian pakar, dengan koefisien reliabilitas Alpha sebesar 0,796 (tinggi); (4) tingkat HOTS siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi berada pada kategori sedang. Temuan menegaskan perlunya penguatan kapasitas guru dalam asesmen HOTS dan perluasan bank soal berbasis konteks agar pengukuran lebih akurat serta berkontribusi pada perbaikan pembelajaran.   Design and feasibility of a grade XI Economics HOTS test using a modified Borg & Gall Model   Abstract: This study aims to: (1) map teachers’ practices in measuring Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), (2) evaluate the steps of instrument development, (3) determine instrument feasibility through validity and reliability, and (4) describe HOTS levels in Grade XI Economics at state senior high schools in Sub-Rayon V, Klaten. A modified Borg and Gall development model was employed. Item construction emphasized the articulation of HOTS indicators and context-rich stimuli. Participants were 155 Grade XI science-track students. Data were collected through a test; content validity was established by experts using Aiken’s V, and item analyses were conducted with Iteman 3.00. Results indicate that: (1) teachers generally have not implemented systematic HOTS assessment; (2) the development cycle comprised preliminary study, planning, initial product development, pilot testing, revision, final testing, and finalization; (3) the resulting instrument contains 16 expert-validated items with an Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.796 (high); and (4) students’ HOTS in Economics fell within the moderate category. These findings highlight the need to strengthen teachers’ assessment capacity and to expand a context-based item bank so that HOTS measurement becomes more accurate and meaningfully informs instructional improvement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai: (1) pengaruh simultan motivasi, kreativitas guru dalam mengajar, dan pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPS; serta pengaruh parsial masing-masing variabel (2) motivasi, (3) kreativitas guru, dan (4) pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar pada siswa kelas IV se-Gugus Jogonegoro Kecamatan Selomerto. Studi kuantitatif korelasional ini melibatkan populasi 216 siswa; sampel 148 siswa dipilih dengan simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi nilai. Uji instrumen meliputi validitas dan reliabilitas; uji prasyarat mencakup normalitas dan multikolinearitas. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda dan korelasi parsial. Hasil menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan secara simultan motivasi, kreativitas guru, dan pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi IPS. Secara parsial, motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi; kreativitas guru dalam mengajar juga menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan; demikian pula pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan motivasi siswa, peningkatan kapasitas kreativitas instruksional guru, dan optimalisasi pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar untuk mendukung capaian akademik IPS. Implikasi praktis mencakup perancangan intervensi berbasis kelas dan sekolah yang menyinergikan ketiga faktor tersebut melalui program motivasi, pengembangan profesional guru, dan manajemen fasilitas.   Motivation, teacher creativity, and learning facilities as predictors of social studies achievement: A correlational study of primary school students   Abstract: This study investigates: (1) the joint effects of motivation, teachers’ instructional creativity, and learning facilities utilization on social studies achievement; and the partial effects of (2) motivation, (3) teacher creativity, and (4) facilities utilization among fourth-grade students in the Jogonegoro school cluster, Selomerto. Employing a quantitative correlational design, the study targeted a population of 216 students; a sample of 148 was selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and achievement records. Instrument testing comprised validity and reliability analyses; assumption checks included normality and multicollinearity. Hypotheses were tested using multiple linear regression and partial correlations. The results indicate a significant simultaneous effect of motivation, teacher creativity, and learning facilities utilization on social studies achievement. Individually, motivation shows a positive, significant effect; teachers’ instructional creativity exhibits a positive, significant effect; and learning facilities utilization also demonstrates a positive, significant effect. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening student motivation, enhancing teachers’ creative instructional practices, and optimizing the use of learning facilities to improve social studies performance. Practical implications point to classroom- and school-level interventions that integrate these three levers via motivation programs, targeted professional development for teachers, and strategic facilities management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen pengukuran sikap nasionalisme bagi siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Kartini, Kecamatan Selomerto, serta menilai kualitas psikometriknya. Penelitian termasuk research and development (R&D) dengan tahapan studi pendahuluan, perancangan butir, validasi ahli, uji coba terbatas, revisi, dan uji coba luas. Subjek uji coba terbatas berjumlah 26 siswa dan uji coba luas 176 siswa. Validitas isi ditetapkan melalui penilaian pakar menggunakan Aiken’s V sebelum instrumen diujicobakan. Analisis faktor eksploratori pada data uji coba luas menunjukkan nilai KMO = 0,824 dan uji Bartlett signifikan (p < 0,05), menandakan kelayakan sampling untuk analisis faktor. Seluruh Measures of Sampling Adequacy (MSA) per butir memenuhi kriteria (> 0,50). Reliabilitas internal memadai, dengan koefisien Cronbach’s alpha keseluruhan > 0,80. Dari enam indikator yang dirumuskan peneliti, struktur hasil eksplorasi membentuk tujuh faktor, dan instrumen akhir terdiri dari 24 butir pernyataan valid dan reliabel (disaring dari 33 butir awal). Rata-rata skor pada indikator “persatuan bangsa” berada pada kategori tinggi (≈ 4 pada skala penilaian). Temuan ini menunjukkan instrumen memiliki dasar validitas isi, struktur faktor yang layak, dan reliabilitas tinggi sehingga berpotensi digunakan untuk pemetaan sikap nasionalisme pada konteks sejenis.   Design and psychometric evaluation of a nationalism attitude scale for elementary school students'   Abstract: This study aimed to develop a measurement instrument for students’ nationalism attitudes in Grade VI elementary schools within the Kartini Cluster, Selomerto, and to evaluate its psychometric quality. A research and development (R&D) approach was adopted, comprising preliminary study, item design, expert validation, limited tryout, revision, and large-scale tryout. Participants included 26 students in the limited tryout and 176 students in the large-scale tryout. Content validity was established by experts using Aiken’s V prior to field testing. Exploratory factor analysis on the large-scale sample yielded KMO = 0.824 and a significant Bartlett’s test (p < 0.05), indicating sampling adequacy for factor analysis. All item-level Measures of Sampling Adequacy exceeded 0.50. Internal consistency reliability was satisfactory, with an overall Cronbach’s alpha > 0.80. Based on six theoretically derived indicators, the empirical structure extracted seven factors, and the final instrument comprised 24 valid and reliable statements (reduced from 33 initial items). The average score for the “national unity” indicator fell within the high category (≈ 4 on the rating scale). Overall, the instrument demonstrates adequate content validity, a defensible factor structure, and high reliability, supporting its potential use for profiling nationalism attitudes in comparable elementary school settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model media pembelajaran berbasis digital yang relevan dan efektif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi elemen-elemen penting dalam pengembangan media digital, seperti karakteristik media yang efektif, strategi integrasi teknologi, dan kebutuhan lokal siswa serta guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner yang melibatkan guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMP dan SMK di Blora dan Kebumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang efektif harus relevan dengan tujuan pembelajaran, menarik, interaktif, dan mendukung pengembangan keterampilan literasi, numerasi, serta kolaborasi siswa. Model pengembangan seperti pendekatan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) dinilai sederhana namun praktis untuk menghasilkan media yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Media digital berbasis teknologi, seperti aplikasi Canva, Kahoot, dan Quizziz, terbukti meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan memperkuat pemahaman mereka terhadap materi. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi media berbasis teknologi merupakan strategi yang strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di era modern. The importance of developing digital-based media in Indonesian language learning Abstract: This research aims to develop a digital-based learning media model that is relevant and effective in learning Indonesian. Using qualitative methods, this research explores important elements in digital media development, such as the characteristics of effective media, technology integration strategies, and local needs of students and teachers. Data was collected through interviews, observations and questionnaires involving Indonesian language teachers in middle and high schools in Blora and Kebumen. The research results show that effective learning media must be relevant to learning objectives, interesting, interactive, and support the development of students' literacy, numeracy and collaboration skills. Development models such as the 4D approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) are considered simple but practical for producing media that suits students' needs. Technology-based digital media, such as Canva, Kahoot, and Quizziz applications, have been proven to increase student engagement and strengthen their understanding of the material. This study concludes that the integration of technology-based media is a strategic strategy to improve the quality of Indonesian language learning in the modern era.

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengidentifikasi instrumen yang digunakan guru untuk menilai sikap kemandirian siswa PAUD di Kecamatan Dukun, (2) mengembangkan model instrumen penilaian kemandirian yang layak dan baku, serta (3) memetakan capaian kemandirian siswa TK Pertiwi Sengi 2. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan research and development dengan prosedur Mardapi yang dimodifikasi (10 langkah): penyusunan model hipotetik, validasi ahli, revisi bertahap, uji keterbacaan, uji coba agak luas, uji coba luas, finalisasi, dan implementasi instrumen. Teknik wawancara dan observasi digunakan untuk menelaah praktik penilaian guru; data kuantitatif diperoleh dari uji coba instrumen pada siswa TK Pertiwi Sengi 2 Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Analisis meliputi exploratory factor analysis (EFA), reliabilitas Cronbach’s alpha, dan deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan guru belum menggunakan instrumen kemandirian yang baku. Instrumen akhir memuat 4 indikator dan 15 butir pernyataan dengan kelayakan sampel yang memadai (KMO = 0,752) dan reliabilitas internal baik (alpha = 0,749). Pemetaan awal mengindikasikan rata-rata tingkat kemandirian siswa berada pada kategori tinggi (≈ 67,57%). Temuan menegaskan bahwa model pengembangan berbasis Mardapi efektif menghasilkan alat ukur yang dapat digunakan guru untuk pemantauan kemandirian secara terstandar, sekaligus memberi dasar perbaikan pembelajaran dan pelibatan orang tua di konteks PAUD.   A standardized instrument for assessing independence in early learners: A ten-step Mardapi-based development   Abstract: This study aimed to: (1) identify instruments currently used by teachers to assess independence attitudes in early childhood education (ECE) within the Dukun District, (2) develop a feasible and standardized assessment instrument, and (3) map independence levels among students at TK Pertiwi Sengi 2. A research and development approach was employed using a modified ten-step Mardapi procedure: hypothetical model design, expert validation, iterative revisions, readability testing, small-scale and broader tryouts, finalization, and implementation. Teacher interviews and classroom observations examined existing assessment practices; quantitative data were collected during instrument tryouts with TK Pertiwi Sengi 2 students (Academic Year 2020/2021). Analyses comprised exploratory factor analysis (EFA), Cronbach’s alpha reliability, and descriptive statistics. Results show that teachers had not been using a standardized instrument. The finalized tool consists of 4 indicators and 15 items, demonstrating adequate sampling adequacy (KMO = 0.752) and acceptable internal consistency (alpha = 0.749). Initial profiling indicates that students’ independence levels fall in the high category (≈ 67.57%). These findings suggest that the Mardapi-based development model yields a practical, standardized instrument that teachers can use to monitor independence in ECE settings and to inform instructional improvements and parental engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik, pengalaman mengajar, dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja guru SMK di Kapupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif yang menekankan pada aspek pengukuran secara objektif terhadap fenomena sosial. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Untuk uji instrument, pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Uji validitas instrument dilakukan untuk melihat instrumen tersebut benar-benar dapat dijadikan alat untuk mengukur sesuatu secara tepat. Sedangkan uji reliabilitas melihat apakah jawaban responden terhadap perntanyaan adalah konsisten dari waktu ke waktu. Pada penelitian ini data diuji dengan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis mayor dan minor. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik (X1), pengalaman mengajar (X2), dan motivasi berprestasi (X3) berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru (Y) SMK di Kabupaten Sleman secara bersamaan yaitu sebesar 75,3% dan sisanya sebesar 24,7% dari faktor lain .Secara parsial kontribusi pengalaman mengajar lebih besar yaitu 50,7%, dibandingkan dengan kompetensi pedagogik secara parsial sebesar 13,5% dan motivasi berprestasi berkontribusi sebesar 11,19% terhadap kinerja guru SMK di Kabupaten Sleman.   The performance of vocational high school teachers was reviewed from the aspects of pedagogical competence, teaching experience, and achievement motivation   Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of pedagogic competence, teaching experience, and achievement motivation on the performance of SMK teachers in Sleman Regency. This research includes quantitative research that emphasizes the aspect of objectively measuring social phenomena. Data collection by using a questionnaire. To test the instrument, in this study using validity and reliability tests. The instrument validity test is carried out to see that the instrument can really be used as a tool to measure something precisely. The reliability test sees whether the respondents' answers to the questions are consistent from time to time. In this study, the data were tested by a prerequisite test and major and minor hypothesis testing. The results showed that pedagogic competence (X1), teaching experience (X2), and achievement motivation (X3) contributed significantly to the performance of SMK teachers (Y) in Sleman Regency simultaneously, namely 75.3% and the remaining 24.7%. from other factors. Partially, the contribution of teaching experience is greater, namely 50.7%, compared to partially pedagogic competence of 13.5% and achievement motivation contributing 11.19% to the performance of SMK teachers in Sleman Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan instrumen pengukuran sikap jujur siswa sekolah dasar kelas V antara lain; (a) untuk menentukan indikator apa saja yang tepat untuk menunjukkan sikap jujur siswa sekolah dasar, (b) melakukan pembakuan instrument yang valid dan reliabel, sehingga pada akhirnya mengetahui kecenderungan sikap jujur yang dilakukan dengan instrument yang telah disusun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Kartika Korwil Disdikbud Kecamatan Srumbung yang berjumlah 170 siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis Exploratory Factor Anaysis, analisis reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Hasil pengembangan instrument diperoleh indikator sikap jujur yang dibagi menjadi 7 yaitu; (a) sikap menyatakan apa adanya, berani menegur untuk mengajak hal positif dan mandiri; (b) sikap konsisten antara perkataan dan perbuatan, mengakui kasalahan ketika berbuat salah, dan tidak tergantung pada orang lain; (c) sikap menyampaikan informasi sesuai dengan kenyataan dan bersedia menerima akibatnya jika berbuat salah; (d) sikap untuk mengingatkan dan tidak berprasangka buruk; (e) sikap taat aturan dan bersedia menerima hukuman; (f) sikap menepati janji, tidak curang, dan mau menerima pendapat orang lain; (g) sikap dapat dipercaya dan berani menunjungung tinggi kebenaran. Uji validitas konstruk terhadap 22 item dinyatakan valid dengan besar nilai Cronbach’s Alpha 0,91 yang terbagi dalam 7 faktor. (2) Kecenderungan sikap jujur siswa sekolah dasar di Gugus Kartika kelas V berada pada kategori baik.   A model for measuring honesty among elementary school students: development and empirical testing in the Kartika Cluster   Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the development of an instrument for assessing the honest attitude of grade 5 elementary school students, including; (a) to determine what indicators are appropriate to show the honest attitude of elementary school students, (b) to standardize valid and reliable instruments, so that in the end they know the tendency of honest attitudes carried out with the instruments that have been prepared. This research is research and development. The subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in the Kartika Korwil Disdikbud Gugus, Srumbung District, totaling 170 students. The data analysis used includes Exploratory Factor Analysis, reliability analysis using Cronbach's Alpha and descriptive analysis. The results showed (1) The results of instrument development obtained honest attitude indicators which were divided into 7 namely; (a) the attitude of stating what it is, daring to reprimand to invite positive and independent things; (b) a consistent attitude between words and actions, admitting mistakes when making mistakes, and not depending on others; (c) the attitude of conveying information in accordance with reality and being willing to accept the consequences if one makes a mistake; (d) attitude to remind and not to be prejudiced; (e) an attitude of obeying the rules and being willing to accept punishment; (f) an attitude of keeping promises, not cheating, and willing to accept other people's opinions; (g) trustworthy attitude and dare to uphold the truth. The construct validity test on 22 items was declared valid with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.91 which was divided into 7 factors. (2) The tendency of honest attitude of elementary school students in the fifth grade Kartika Group is in the good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, motivasi belajar, dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar Seni Budaya pada siswa kelas X OTKP SMK YPE Sawunggalih Kutoarjo tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Desain penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan cluster random sampling; dari populasi 93 siswa diperoleh sampel 75 siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji prasyarat, serta regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil menunjukkan kontribusi positif masing-masing prediktor terhadap hasil belajar: kecerdasan emosional memberikan sumbangan efektif 3,82% (sumbangan relatif 25,10%), motivasi belajar 6,00% (39,46%), dan kemandirian belajar 5,39% (35,44%). Secara simultan, ketiga variabel berpengaruh positif dan sangat signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dengan sumbangan efektif total 15,21%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar model. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan regulasi emosi, penggerak motivasional, dan kebiasaan belajar mandiri untuk mendukung capaian Seni Budaya. Implikasi praktis mencakup perancangan intervensi kelas yang menumbuhkan refleksi emosi, tujuan belajar yang jelas, dan strategi belajar mandiri terstruktur; di tingkat sekolah, program pengembangan karakter dan bimbingan belajar dapat diorkestrasi agar efek ketiga faktor semakin optimal.   Emotional intelligence, motivation, and autonomy as predictors of cultural arts achievement in vocational high schools   Abstract: This correlational quantitative study examines the effects of emotional intelligence, learning motivation, and learning autonomy on Cultural Arts achievement among Grade-X OTKP students at SMK YPE Sawunggalih Kutoarjo in the 2020/2021 academic year. Using cluster random sampling, 75 students were selected from a population of 93. Data analysis comprised descriptive statistics, assumption checks, and hypothesis testing via simple and multiple regression. Results indicate positive contributions of each predictor to achievement: emotional intelligence accounted for an effective contribution of 3.82% (relative 25.10%), motivation 6.00% (39.46%), and learning autonomy 5.39% (35.44%). Jointly, the three variables had a positive and highly significant effect with a total effective contribution of 15.21%, with the remainder explained by factors outside the model. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening emotional regulation, motivational drivers, and independent study habits to support Cultural Arts performance. Practical implications include classroom-level interventions that cultivate emotional reflection, clear learning goals, and structured self-regulated strategies; at the school level, character-building and study-skills programs can be orchestrated to further leverage the combined effects of the three factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memetakan bahan ajar yang digunakan guru pada tema Hidup Bersih dan Sehat di SD Negeri Klodangan, Berbah, Sleman; (2) mengembangkan bahan ajar cetak tematik berbasis buku kerja yang layak; dan (3) menguji efektivitasnya terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas II. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate). Data kebutuhan dikumpulkan melalui telaah dokumen dan wawancara guru. Kelayakan produk dinilai melalui validasi ahli materi dan media. Efektivitas diuji menggunakan paired sample t-test terhadap skor pratindakan dan pascatindakan. Hasil menunjukkan guru belum menggunakan bahan ajar cetak tematik berbasis buku kerja pada tema tersebut. Produk yang dikembangkan memuat ringkasan materi, latihan kontekstual bertingkat, lembar kerja, dan umpan balik mandiri; dinyatakan sangat layak oleh ahli materi dan media. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan dengan p value = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Temuan menegaskan bahwa bahan ajar cetak tematik berbasis buku kerja dapat mendukung keterlibatan siswa dan pencapaian kompetensi pada tema Hidup Bersih dan Sehat. Rekomendasi mencakup perluasan cakupan materi lintas subtema serta pendampingan implementasi agar keberterimaan dan dampak pembelajaran semakin merata.   Workbook-based thematic teaching materials on Clean and Healthy Living: A 4D R&D Study in elementary school   Abstract: This study aimed to: (1) map the teaching materials used by teachers for the Clean and Healthy Living theme at SD Negeri Klodangan, Berbah, Sleman; (2) develop workbook-based thematic print materials meeting feasibility standards; and (3) test their effectiveness on second-grade learning outcomes. A research and development design employed the 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). Needs analysis drew on document review and teacher interviews. Product feasibility was established through expert validation in content and media. Effectiveness was examined using a paired sample t-test comparing pre- and post-test scores. Results indicate that teachers had not previously used workbook-based thematic print materials for this theme. The developed product includes concise content summaries, scaffolded contextual exercises, worksheets, and self-feedback; expert judgments rated the materials highly feasible. The effectiveness test showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes with p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings suggest that workbook-based thematic print materials can enhance student engagement and achievement in the Clean and Healthy Living theme. Future work should broaden sub-theme coverage and provide implementation support to ensure consistent acceptance and impact across classrooms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEM di Sekolah Dasar. Studi menggunakan desain kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi kelas, dan studi dokumentasi (perangkat pembelajaran, arsip alumni, dan data siswa). Keabsahan data diperiksa dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif-naratif: pencatatan lapangan, pembacaan berulang, pencocokan antarsumber, dan penyajian temuan yang berfokus pada praktik pembelajaran berbasis STEM. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa implementasi STEM di kelas VI dilaksanakan pada beberapa topik dengan perencanaan yang mendahului pelaksanaan, meliputi pemilihan masalah kontekstual, penyiapan alat dan bahan, skenario integrasi sains–teknologi–rekayasa–matematika, serta penetapan indikator capaian. Pelaksanaan diawali stimulus (cerita/bacaan terkait konsep), diikuti eksplorasi, perancangan solusi, pengujian sederhana, dan refleksi kelas. Peran guru terlihat pada orkestrasi diskusi, fasilitasi inquiry, dan umpan balik formatif. Kendala utama mencakup keterbatasan waktu, variasi kesiapan siswa, serta ketersediaan sumber/alat. Implikasi menekankan pentingnya perencanaan rinci, kurasi masalah autentik, manajemen sumber belajar, dan penguatan kompetensi guru agar pembelajaran STEM konsisten mendorong keterlibatan dan penalaran ilmiah siswa. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran implementasi yang dapat direplikasi dan ditingkatkan di konteks SD serupa.   Planning and enactment of the STEM approach in elementary education: Descriptive findings from classroom practice   Abstract: This study describes the implementation of a STEM approach in elementary education. A qualitative descriptive design was employed. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis (lesson plans, alumni records, and student data). Data credibility was ensured via triangulation of sources and methods. Analysis followed a descriptive–narrative procedure: field note compilation, iterative reading, cross-checking across sources, and thematic reporting focused on STEM-based classroom practice. Findings indicate that Grade-Six implementation occurred across several topics and was preceded by explicit planning, including selection of contextual problems, preparation of materials and tools, scenarios for integrating science–technology–engineering–mathematics, and clear learning indicators. Enactment began with a teacher-provided stimulus (story/text), followed by exploration, solution design, simple testing, and whole-class reflection. Teacher roles centered on orchestrating discussion, facilitating inquiry, and providing formative feedback. Key constraints involved limited time, heterogeneous student readiness, and resource availability. Implications highlight the need for detailed planning, curation of authentic problems, management of learning resources, and targeted teacher capacity building so that STEM lessons consistently foster engagement and scientific reasoning. The study offers a replicable picture of implementation and areas for improvement for similar elementary school contexts.
