Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan instrumen diagnostik kognitif pada mata pelajaran IPA materi kalor berdasarkan learning continuum, (2) menemukan karakteristik instrumen diagnostik kognitif pada mata pelajaran IPA materi kalor, berdasarkan learning continuum. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan tes diagnostik. Penelitian didahului dengan penyusunan learning continum, kisi-kisi tes, hierarki materi prasyarat dan spesifikasi item pada materi IPA konsep kalor yang ditelaah melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Uji coba dilaksanakan dengan subjek uji sebanyak 484 siswa kelas VII SMP di Kabupaten Sleman. Seleksi butir tes untuk mendapatkan fit tes menggunakan program Quest dan Program M Plus untuk uji kecocokan/kesesuaian model atribut dengan matriks Q. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) instrumen yang berhasil dikembangkan berbentuk tes pilihan ganda dengan alasan, berjumlah 28 butir soal dan menghasilkan tujuh Q matrik; (2) analisis dengan program Quest diperoleh butir fit dengan model dan program M Plus menemukan besarnya probabilitas pada setiap latent class pada tujuh Q matriks yang tersusun.Kata kunci: instrumen, diagnostik kognitif, IPA DEVELOPING THE INSTRUMENTS OF COGNITIVE DIAGNOSTIC FOR SCIENCE SUBJECT IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThe study aimed at: (1) producing cognitive diagnostic instruments for science subjects of heat topic based on learning continuum (2) finding the characteristics of the instrument developed The method used in this research is the development of diagnostic tests. The research was preceded by the preparation of learning continuum, test blueprint , hierarchy of prerequisite materials and test specification on materials of science concept which were examined through Focus Group Discussion (FGD).The test trial was implemented with 484 students of class VII SMP in Sleman as subjects. Selection of test items to get fit tests used Quest program and M Plus program to test the suitability/fitness model with the attribute matrix Q. The results show: (1) the instruments developed in the form of a multiple choice test with reason, totaling 28 items and seven Q matrix; (2) analysis using Quest program finds item fit with the model ,and program M Plus find the probability in each latent class on seven Q matrix composed.Keywords: instruments, cognitive diagnostic, science

Abstract

Tracer Study is important to be done, with the implementation of tracer studies will be obtained feedback can reveal useful information for Physical Education and Study programs can then be used for the improvement and quality assurance for internal and external quality assurance. This study aims to determine 1) Profile Physical education graduate study program, 2) Suitability Education Graduates by type of work, 3) to determine the input graduates for the development of Physics Education Study Program This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. This study took a random sample. Data collection was done by using questionnaires and documentation. Analysis of data using statistical descriptive analysis in the form of tabulation and visualization in the form of pictures and graphics. The results showed that the profile of a graduate program of study Physical Education variegated, amounting to 92% consistently worked as a science teacher at the junior high and high school physics teacher. By 75% the salaries of graduates of Physics Education> 1 million. This means public recognition of the Physical Education graduates is quite high. Conformance level of education obtained by the type of work, the graduates who worked as a teacher of Physics at the equivalent of high school, 85% support the work, for a science teacher for 60% support for the work and other work only 30% support the work. The waiting period physical education graduate study program is as much as 96% get a job <6 months. Put alumni to study Physical Education Program is room for improvement in the field of infrastructure, soft skills, learning and quality of lecturers. Keywords: Tracer study, graduates, physics

Abstract

Abstract: This study descriptively aims to know the category of achievement of science subject by using cooperative learning model by  teams games tournament  type and  conventional  model. Comparatively to know the difference of learning achievement of science subject  by  using cooperative learning model by  teams  games  tournament  type  and  conventional  model.  The  type  of  this  study  was  quasi experiment. Data collection techniques used test and documentation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using t test that was started by homogeneity variant test and normality test. This study shows that the score  𝑡hitung  =  3,665  and the score of p = 0,001. Thus,  it  can  conclude  that  there  was  significant  difference  of  learning  achievement  science.  The average score of learning achievement science that using cooperative learning model by teams games tournament  type  was  higher  than  conventional  model.  It  means  that  there  are  influences  of cooperative learning model by teams games tournament type toward learning achievement science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan Program Penjurusan SMA Di SMAN 11 dan SMA BOPKRI I Yogyakarta, khususnya terkait dengan: (1) persiapan penjurusan; (2) proses pelaksanaan penjurusan; (3) hasil penjurusan dan (4) keefektifan pelaksanaan penjurusan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI, guru BK, wakasek kurikulum dan kepala sekolah di SMAN 11 Yogyakarta dan SMA BOPKRI I Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi model stake. Kriteria evaluasi mengacu pada kriteria yang ditetapkan oleh Depdiknas. Pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Uji coba instrumen dilaksanakan di SMA PIRI I Yogyakarta dan menghasilkan reliabilitas data anticedent 0,752 dan reliabilitas data outcome 0,833. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Persiapan penjurusan di kedua sekolah sudah cukup baik ditinjau dari informasi penjurusan yang diterima siswa guru BK, data pribadi siswa yang digunakan dikedua sekolah, dan peran guru BK; (2) Proses pelaksanaan penjurusan berjalan dengan baik dengan mengacu pada kurikulum berbasis kompetensi; (3) Hasil penjurusan didukung orang tua, motivasi siswa meningkat, dan prestasi siswa. Abstract

This study aimed to determine how the teacher's assessment of student discipline attitudes has been done all this time. Knowing how to develop an instrument for assessing students 'disciplinary attitudes that is standard and feasible to use, including: (a) what indicators are appropriate to measure students' disciplinary attitudes. (b) how to develop indicators for assessing disciplinary attitudes into questionnaire items. (c) determine the validity and reliability of the student's disciplinary attitude assessment instrument. In the end, to find out the degree of discipline of senior high school students. This research is a research and development. The subjects in this study were 312 class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Karangdowo. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis used included Exploratory Factor Analysis, reliability analysis using Cronbach's Alpha, and descriptive analysis. The result showed (1) the assessment of disciplinary attitudes by the teacher had not used valid and reliable instruments. (2) the results of the development of the instrument obtain indicators of discipline attitude, which are divided into 3, namely: obeying the general rules of schools outside the teaching and learning activities, obeying the rules of teaching and learning, and attendance in class, and obeying the rules of the learning task. The construct validity test of 50 items was declared valid with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.898, which was divided into 15 factors. (3) the tendency of discipline attitude of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Karangdowo is in the medium category

Abstract

This study aims to compare the results of KMO MSA analysis, Eigen Value, reliability, and Standard Error Measurement (SEm) between raw scores (original) and standardized scores (rescaling) through the summated rating scaling method on critical reasoning attitudes of vocational students in Yogyakarta City. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach involving 204 private vocational students as subjects. The instrument used to measure critical reasoning attitudes has gone through thorough validity and reliability testing before the research was carried out. The analysis process was carried out by calculating the KMO MSA, Eigen Value, reliability, and SEm values on both raw and standardized scores. The results of the two types of scores were then compared to identify any differences. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the raw score had a KMO MSA of 0.87, reliability of 0.823, and SEm of 0.337. After rescaling, the KMO MSA value decreased slightly to 0.86, the reliability also decreased slightly to 0.821, while the SEm increased to 0.406. Eigenvalue analysis showed that both the raw and standardized scores yielded seven factors with Eigenvalues greater than 1. The differences found between these two types of scores, namely 0.01 for KMO MSA, 0.002 for reliability, and -0.069 for SEm, indicate small but significant changes, especially in terms of the increase in SEm after rescaling, which impacts the level of measurement accuracy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengidentifikasi instrumen yang digunakan guru untuk menilai sikap kemandirian siswa PAUD di Kecamatan Dukun, (2) mengembangkan model instrumen penilaian kemandirian yang layak dan baku, serta (3) memetakan capaian kemandirian siswa TK Pertiwi Sengi 2. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan research and development dengan prosedur Mardapi yang dimodifikasi (10 langkah): penyusunan model hipotetik, validasi ahli, revisi bertahap, uji keterbacaan, uji coba agak luas, uji coba luas, finalisasi, dan implementasi instrumen. Teknik wawancara dan observasi digunakan untuk menelaah praktik penilaian guru; data kuantitatif diperoleh dari uji coba instrumen pada siswa TK Pertiwi Sengi 2 Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Analisis meliputi exploratory factor analysis (EFA), reliabilitas Cronbach’s alpha, dan deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan guru belum menggunakan instrumen kemandirian yang baku. Instrumen akhir memuat 4 indikator dan 15 butir pernyataan dengan kelayakan sampel yang memadai (KMO = 0,752) dan reliabilitas internal baik (alpha = 0,749). Pemetaan awal mengindikasikan rata-rata tingkat kemandirian siswa berada pada kategori tinggi (≈ 67,57%). Temuan menegaskan bahwa model pengembangan berbasis Mardapi efektif menghasilkan alat ukur yang dapat digunakan guru untuk pemantauan kemandirian secara terstandar, sekaligus memberi dasar perbaikan pembelajaran dan pelibatan orang tua di konteks PAUD.   A standardized instrument for assessing independence in early learners: A ten-step Mardapi-based development   Abstract: This study aimed to: (1) identify instruments currently used by teachers to assess independence attitudes in early childhood education (ECE) within the Dukun District, (2) develop a feasible and standardized assessment instrument, and (3) map independence levels among students at TK Pertiwi Sengi 2. A research and development approach was employed using a modified ten-step Mardapi procedure: hypothetical model design, expert validation, iterative revisions, readability testing, small-scale and broader tryouts, finalization, and implementation. Teacher interviews and classroom observations examined existing assessment practices; quantitative data were collected during instrument tryouts with TK Pertiwi Sengi 2 students (Academic Year 2020/2021). Analyses comprised exploratory factor analysis (EFA), Cronbach’s alpha reliability, and descriptive statistics. Results show that teachers had not been using a standardized instrument. The finalized tool consists of 4 indicators and 15 items, demonstrating adequate sampling adequacy (KMO = 0.752) and acceptable internal consistency (alpha = 0.749). Initial profiling indicates that students’ independence levels fall in the high category (≈ 67.57%). These findings suggest that the Mardapi-based development model yields a practical, standardized instrument that teachers can use to monitor independence in ECE settings and to inform instructional improvements and parental engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Big Book yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran membaca awal di TK ABA Al-Hikmah Kretek Bantul Yogyakarta, serta menilai kelayakan media dan materi yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), yang dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap utama, yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Paired Sample t-test untuk mengukur efektivitas media terhadap kemampuan membaca awal anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang semula digunakan guru berupa bahan ajar cetak sederhana dan kartu huruf. Media Big Book yang dikembangkan menampilkan gambar dan teks bertema pengenalan anggota keluarga, benda di lingkungan sekitar, nama buah dan sayuran, serta hewan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media Big Book berada dalam kategori sangat layak. Selain itu, uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa media tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca awal anak usia dini (p = 0,000; p < 0,05).   Design and feasibility testing of big book media as a tool to stimulate early reading skills in kindergarten   Abstract: This study aims to develop Big Book learning media for teaching early reading skills in TK ABA Al-Hikmah Kretek Bantul, Yogyakarta, and to evaluate the feasibility of the developed media and its content. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design, implemented through four main stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test to assess the effectiveness of the media on children’s early reading skills. The findings indicate that the learning materials previously used by teachers consisted mainly of printed materials and letter cards. The developed Big Book incorporates illustrated and thematic content introducing family members, everyday objects, fruits and vegetables, and animals. The validation results show that the Big Book media is categorized as highly feasible. Furthermore, the effectiveness test reveals a significant improvement in early reading skills among kindergarten students after using the Big Book (p = 0.000; p < 0.05). This suggests that Big Book learning media can serve as an effective and engaging tool for stimulating early reading development in early childhood education settings.

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to describe improving the effectiveness of distance learning and the creative thinking of students to understand scientific concepts, especially human respiratory system material in grade V elementary school students. The implementation step: The preparation is the creation of an innovative lesson plan. The curriculum is designed to create a distance learning experience that stays active and creative. The learning process is done online through WhatsApp Group. Based on the distance learning that has been implemented, it can be concluded by using the media "Balloon Breathing Stimulation Media" can improve students' creative thinking in science learning. Cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills also improve as creative thinking skills increase. The use of the media " Balloon Breathing Stimulation Media " which is held by online learning can increase student motivation in the learning process. The increase in learning motivation is also a boundary with the increase in creative thinking skills in the science literacy school. Based on the analysis of the learning activities, it concluded that the use of " Balloon Breathing Stimulation Media " media in scientific learning is effective to increase the students' creative thinking ability and motivate the student in the learning process during the COVID-19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the trend of physics learning achievement using the POEW learning model and conventional learning descriptively. The influence of the POEW learning model on physics achievement is known comparatively. This research is a quasi-experiment. The population of the study consists of the eighth-grade students of MTs Mathali'ul Huda Pati for the 2013/2014 academic year. There are 110 students in the class. Random sampling was used to obtain a sample of 74 students. Based on test results from 30 questions, 26 questions were valid, and 4 questions were invalid. An rtt of 0.877 was used to determine the reliability of the instrument. Data analysis includes prerequisite analysis tests, normality tests of distribution, and homogeneity tests of variance. The results showed that the trend of physics learning achievement using the POEW model falls into the high category, while the conventional model falls into the moderate category. In the t-test, obtained t count = 3.565 and p = 0.001, which means the hypothesis is accepted by students and is significant. There is a significant difference in physics learning achievement using the POEW model and the conventional model. Therefore, there is an influence of the use of the POEW model on physics learning achievement.
