Abstract

An expert system for diagnosing the cause of miscarriage in pregnant women is an expert system designed as a tool to diagnose the type of food that causes miscarriage. Computer programs intended as providers of assistive devices in solving problems in certain areas of specialization such as miscarriage problems in pregnant women. This knowledge is obtained from various sources including books and the internet that are related to the causes of miscarriages. Knowledge base arranged in such a way into a database with several tables of food types and effect tables to facilitate system performance in drawing conclusions in this expert system using the Bayes theorem. This expert system will display the choice of symptoms that can be chosen by the user, where each choice of effects will read the user to the next selection of effects until they get the final result. At the end of the expert system will display the choice of user effects, types of food causes of miscarriages, and solutions.

Abstract

A decision support system for diagnosing lung disease by inserting sketches of x-ray images that have been copied into the decision support system for lung disease diagnosis and symptoms of the disease to be diagnosed at a later stage so that the type of disease is known. The purpose of this system is to support the decision to diagnose lung disease where there are input symptoms of the disease or scanned images, to determine the level or level of illness suffered by the patient or ordinary person. This program is run by using hardware (hardware) that has minimal specifications are as follows Intel Pentium II 200 Mhz Processor, 64 MB Memory, 10 GB Hard Drive, 1 MB VGA card, Monitor with a resolution of 800  600 pixels, Keyboard and Mouse; Whereas the software used to run this application is the MS-Windows 98 or MS-Windows NT / 2000 / XP operating system environment. Steps for making this system include: identifying problems and needs, collecting and selecting data that will be used as a complement, studying and discussing the material obtained about the decision system for diagnosing lung disease along with forward chaining and production rules, designing interfaces with using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. and designing databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, making decision support systems for diagnosing lung disease, and testing and improving the systems made.

Abstract

In everyday life sometimes many people leave the lights at home alive even though they are empty. As it is known that lights are lighting devices that are very important for any activity, but often there are difficulties in controlling lights because they are still done manually, so there is often negligence in their use. Current control conditions still use the principle of controlling lights at close range. This of course results in excessive waste of electricity when traveling a considerable distance. By using a mobile home-based light control system and Blynk server, it aims to save electricity usage and make it easier to control lights from a certain distance. This system is created by using wifi technology that receives messages from clients that will be processed with the Blynk application that allows users to control home lights using Android. NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller, and the output is a relay to control the system to be on / off position. By controlling using Blynk, this tool can be operated with an Android smartphone that the majority of its users are supported by equipment that is easily available so that the house looks inhabited even though it is empty. So using the tools we make makes it easier for users to control it without having to be afraid of excessive electricity use.

Abstract

To support quality education with a purpose to educate the generation of the nation, the thing to note is the quality of a teacher where it serves as a channel for delivering education / the teaching. Therefore, to know the quality, it needs to be held a selection of outstanding teachers with the aim of encouraging and motivating teachers for integrity, ready to compete and high quality. Based on these problems then this study aims to design a system decision support for the selection of outstanding teachers at Global Prima National Plus School Medan. The method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). There are five criteria that the author uses namely Discipline, Achievements, Responsibilities, Initiatives and Presence. The research was conducted with looking for weight values for each criterion, then ranking process which determines the outstanding teacher in the case study.

Abstract

The development of information technology has been widely used by all companies to improve service to the community. The use of information technology in a company is of course adapted to the needs of the system design in the company. Technology is no longer seen as a complement, but has become a necessity for the implementation of goals and strategies of the company. The developing technology is certainly very necessary to be applied in the business processes that exist in airport companies. Airports, especially in Medan, usually provide bus services to take airport passengers who will return home. The process of ordering these bus services is usually done conventionally, which is quite troublesome because passengers have to queue and go to the ticket sales counter first. In addition, conventional ticket reservations cannot make a choice of seat position to be occupied. Based on these problems, a mobile-based application will be built to enable passengers to order tickets and choose seats online. In the process of developing an information system using the Laravel framework and the Java programming language. From the results of this study, an online bus ticket booking application system was obtained at the airport company.

Abstract

The National Urban Independent Community Empowerment Program (PNPM-MP) in practice involves many elements in the field, such as communities, government, PNPM officers and community institutions with the types of activities in the form of environmental, social and economic activities. Community participation in the entire PNPM-MP process is very important to be assessed and measured so that it can be accounted for. Community participation in empowerment programs should cover the entire process from the beginning to the final stage. Community participation can occur in 4 (four) levels, namely Participation in the decision-making process, Participation in implementation, Participation in the utilization of results and Participation in evaluation. To get the priority of community participation in supporting PNPM-MP in the Bahkapul Urban Village, Siantar Sitalasari District, Pematangsiantar City, North Sumatra Province, a solution was needed. The solution is a decision support system (SPK). The decision support system applies the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method by arranging a hierarchical structure to determine the problem and its objectives, determining and giving weight to each criterion and subcriteria so that each alternative involved in the decision support system can be analyzed accurately. The results of the study are that the decision support system can provide appropriate recommendations to decision makers in determining and realizing the National Independent Community Empowerment Program (PNPM-MP) in Bahkapul Sub-District, Siantar Sitalasari District, Pematangsiantar City, North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

Culinary arts is one of the attractions for foreign tourists who hold a tour with the aim of enjoying various types of delicious food [1]. But if we want to get information about food or culinary in an area it is not easy especially for migrants who visit a new area. They cannot determine the food to be eaten because of the lack of information about the culinary in the area. The lack of information for the community certainly has an impact on culinary shops. Generally, many culinary store managers have difficulty in introducing marketed culinary, which makes the profits of the entrepreneurs managing the existing culinary stores decrease. Based on these problems, research will be conducted on issues with the aim of building a culinary media social application by using the Google Maps API. The results of this study are in the form of a culinary media social application by applying the Google Maps API method in helping culinary searches.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an application for recording web-based sales reports at Kita-Kita.Net using the prototype method. By using the prototype method, the design and implementation of applications can be faster and according to what the client / user application wants. Recording of sales reports at Kita-Kita.Net which still manually makes recording errors often occur, due to these errors also have an effect on work efficiency at Kita-Kita.Net. By designing this application can minimize errors that occur in recording sales reports, as well as improve work efficiency, both time efficiency and energy efficiency at Kita-Kita.Net.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the inventory control carried out by CV. Pematangsiantar Shining Steel Partners. The data used in this study are secondary data sourced from company records for the last 3 months. The data analysis method used in this study is the Decision Mining Data Tree method with ID3 algorithm. Through the application of data mining CV. Cemerlang Steel Partners will know more about the items that are of interest to consumers and items that are not in demand, so there will be no more stockpiles that accumulate in the warehouse. The results of this study found that the Root Node in determining which items are in demand and not in demand is the Size attribute. Rule obtained as many as 14 rules, which consists of 7 rules that are worth yes and 7 rules that have no value.
