Abstract

In this day and age the bus is the most common means of transportation used by the community because of the low price and easy way of ordering simple and accurate and still affordable for the economic community middle down. Generaly bus ticket bookings are made with go directly to the point of sale of bus tickets or by calling to the counter office. This ordering process has a weakness, namely the clerk or managers have difficulty recording, and errors often occur when recording ticket reservations. Regarding the time of ordering, usually prospective travelers book tickets a day or two before departure, and some are don't book tickets a few days in advance and buy tickets on the day departures, which often results in them not getting tickets that are society wants. The aim of this work is to design the system online bus ticket reservation developed using an application. Program it is built using Python programming and machine learning to make it easier to generate data automatically and make predictions Accurate. The result of this research is a bus ticket reservation system which offers a new alternative to the bus ticket booking process without distance and time constraints. In addition, the public will also receive information regarding bus schedules, ticket prices, and possible changes to departures bus.

Abstract

This research introduces an innovative Android-based tourism search application that utilizes location-based services (LBS) through the Google Maps API. Yogyakarta, as a popular tourist destination, often faces challenges in accessing attractions outside the city center. The primary objective of this application is to provide comprehensive information about tourist attractions, assisting travelers in discovering attractions based on their preferences and categorizing them by type and the number of visitors. The research adopts a structured development approach using the Waterfall model and various Android-based programming algorithms. Despite a significant increase in the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia, there has been a decline in the number of domestic tourists exploring Yogyakarta, primarily due to difficulties in accessing information scattered across various platforms. The main goal of this research is to develop a mobile application that helps tourists find tourist attractions in Yogyakarta, especially those located outside the city center. The application offers a user-friendly interface, enabling users to access in-depth information about tourism categories, directions, and other essential details. Although some issues need to be addressed after the trials, this mobile tourism search application has substantial potential to support the tourism industry by providing comprehensive information to users, simplifying travel planning, and promoting lesser-known attractions.

Abstract

This research addresses the challenges faced by chili farmers in predicting harvest outcomes and providing nutrition according to plant needs. The Fuzzy Logic Mamdani method is proposed as a decision support system to determine the optimal nutrient application volume based on soil conditions, temperature, and acidity level (pH). By synthesizing fuzzy logic, this study aims to assist chili farmers in optimizing harvest results through appropriate nutrient application. The research methodology involves literature review, observation, and data collection to form a dataset with variables such as irrigation volume, soil moisture, temperature, and soil pH. The research results include the formation of fuzzy sets, application of implication functions, rule composition, defuzzification, and irrigation volume calculations. Simulations using the Fuzzy Logic Toolbox show that the Fuzzy Logic Mamdani method can provide predictions of nutrient application volumes that align with chili plant conditions. In testing, when the input variable of water content is 35.6 at a temperature of 30.8 with a soil pH of 3.7, the system recommends an irrigation volume of 204, categorized as high. The findings of this research can serve as a predictive tool to help chili farmers determine the optimal nutrient application volume based on environmental conditions.

Abstract

Barbershops play a crucial role in maintaining appearance and hairstyles in this modern era. With the continued growth of barbershop businesses in the Bagan Batu area, prospective customers often face challenges in selecting the best barbershop that suits their needs. Therefore, a study was conducted to address the issues faced by potential customers in choosing the best barbershop in the Bagan Batu area. This research involved the development of a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. The criteria considered in this research include location, price, quality, cleanliness, and reputation, each assigned a weight of 0.1; 0.25; 0.25; 0.2; and 0.2, respectively. The data processing results using the MOORA method in this study identified the top 3 barbershop alternatives, namely A6, A8, and A5, with preference values of 0.28945, 0.28135, and 0.28130, respectively. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the Decision Support System using the MOORA method can efficiently assist potential consumers in choosing a barbershop and facilitate the decision-making process in selecting the best barbershop for the Bagan Batu community.

Abstract

The number of complaints about the efficiency of time and distance to see and get information related to the goods you want to buy is a common problem among consumers. Especially when consumers want to buy a car where consumers have to take the time to go to the showroom before making sure to buy the desired product. To overcome the problems that often occur, an Augmented reality (AR) based application was created that serves to promote and introduce various types of cars. Augmented reality (AR) is a 3D-based technology that will create space for consumers to see various types of cars. The method used in this research is Marker Based. The design of this application begins with collecting car model data in the form of 3D assets that will be developed using Unity software. This application is expected to help consumers to reach various car models in detail without having to take the time to visit the showroom. This application has been proven successful in displaying 3D car objects graphically and equipped with voice explanations. Based on mobile device testing, 95% results were obtained for the success of application functionality. This application has been successfully run and functions Augmented reality (AR) technology well.

Abstract

The implementation of Internet of Things technology is still being developed, for example in the agricultural sector, namely hydroponics. Hydroponics is a planting technique without soil, this technique provides opportunities for farmers who have limited land but still produce quality plants. This research aims to apply the Internet of Things to automatically monitor the temperature and humidity in a Raspberry pi 3-based hydroponic room. It is hoped that this will increase farmers' knowledge in maintaining the temperature and humidity conditions in the planting room. The method used in the process of detecting the temperature and humidity conditions of the hydroponic room is using a DHT22 sensor, then using a water spray base mist sprayer and an automatic fan to maintain the temperature and humidity of the room which is controlled using an Arduino Mega 2560 with a Raspberry pi as a server device, to run the website as an independent platform that monitors and controls online temperature and humidity based on IoT. The result of this research is a control device that can be used to monitor and maintain the temperature of the hydroponic room ≤ 270C up to and maintain air humidity with a minimum limit of up to 65%.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has had various negative and positive impact on humans, especially in the fields of communication and information. the positive impacts is the speed of the process delivering information via the internet such as websites, mobile applications and so on. For some people who are far from the city center, the process of obtaining and conveying information is still very limited, due to various internal and external factors. This research uses observation and interviews methods village officials and resident. Therefore, this website was created using PHP, Flutter Bootstrap, and MySQL Database with the aim of helping village communities obtain information services and assingting village goverment in providing information service facilities and being able to explore or introduce village culture and potential through web and mobile-based applications. The outcome of this study is an information system for villages in the form of a website and mobile that can manage village information, namely in the form of information services in the form of activites, news, galleries, correspondence services and this system can be accessed by anyone to get information about Bangkal village.

Abstract

This research aims to solve the problem of selecting extracurricular coaches. To assist the Faculty of Science and Technology at Labuhanbatu University in selecting trainers for extracurricular activities, a Decision Support System was designed using the MOOSRA (Multi-Objective Optimization based on Ratio Analysis) method. The Decision Support System (DSS) using the MOOSRA method was implemented to increase objectivity and efficiency in selecting trainers. Research methods include preliminary studies, determining criteria (experience, achievement, academics, skills, leadership), and data collection. MOOSRA is used to optimize decisions based on criteria. The ranking results show the three best coaches: Coach02, Coach08, and Coach07. The existence of this decision support system can help make it easier for the Faculty of Science and Technology, Labuhanbatu University, to select extracurricular trainers more quickly and efficiently so that they can support and increase effectiveness in supervising student extracurricular activities.

Abstract

The research aims to develop a classification model that is effective in identifying hoax news. The rapid development of information technology has had a significant impact on the dissemination of information, especially in the context of the spread of hoaxes via the internet. Hoaxes, or fake news, can cause misperceptions and negative impacts on various aspects of people's lives. To classify hoax news, this research was carried out using the Naive Bayes algorithm. The data used comes from various sources and involves stages of data collection, data analysis, and preprocessing processes. Modeling uses the Naive Bayes Algorithm, which applies the law of probability, to calculate the confidence or probability that a news item falls into the fraud category. The data preprocessing process includes tokenization, case transformation, stopwords filter, and tokens filter (by Length), which aims to improve the quality of the analyzed data. Model evaluation was carried out using cross-validation, confusion matrix, and classification report methods. The evaluation results show that the model accuracy is 73.91%, with a deviation of 1.04%. The results of this research can be used to classify hoax news properly. This model can be used as an initial reference in developing more complex prediction models.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the performance of two algorithms in detecting diabetes mellitus, which is a metabolic disorder caused by insufficient insulin production by the pancreas. In this research, we used two algorithms, namely Naive Bayes and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), to carry out analysis on the diabetes mellitus dataset used. The Naive Bayes algorithm is a statistical algorithm used to classify and predict the probability of certain classes. Meanwhile, the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm is used to classify new objects based on their similarity to nearby objects. This study utilized 9 variables, including number of pregnancies, glucose levels, blood pressure, skin thickness, insulin, Body Mass Index (BMI), family history of diabetes, age, and diagnosis results. The dataset used consists of 2000 data obtained from KAGGLE. The classification process is carried out by importing data into Microsoft Excel, designing the process, and then analyzing the data using Google Colab by applying the K-Nearest Neighbor and Naive Bayes algorithms. The research results show that the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm provides a higher level of accuracy compared to the Naive Bayes algorithm.
