Abstract

The manual preparation strategy of a promosi package can encounter difficulties in determining the right product to be promosited caused of no sales data analysis and the large size of sales database.The solution to this problem is to apply data mining science to find buying patterns that consumers often make in a collection of sales transactions, so that company can create the right promosi packages to encourage increased sales turnover. The study scanned the sales database obtained from the UCI maching learning repository and intelligent system dataset with 12,224 sales transaction records and 126,898 record of goods sold. Furthermore, the data mining process carries out the process of constructing an FP-Tree tree structure, constructing a conditional FP-Tree and TID List, then extracting a combination of items and calculating support (S), confidence (C) and sorting association rules based on the value of S x C descending, from the highest to the lowest value. The combination of FP-Tree and TID-List algorithms can be used to help formulate promosi package strategies, by analyzing the sales database and finding the most frequently sold combinations of items.

Abstract

The hotel industry will compete in developing their business, one of which is by applying information technology. In addition to designing an information system for business development, a vending machine can also be designed using the concept of finite state automata (FSA). FSA is a computational model with limited memory that has the function of a digital computer, which can accept input, output, temporary storage and is able to make decisions in defining inputs into outputs. The VM penyewaan kamar hotel design will make a new solution for tourists who do not book rooms online, can choose rooms independently through VM and using two payment methods, that is cash and non-cash method payment. The design stage begins with analyzing business processes at a hotel, describing the machine configuration with state diagrams and then designing the VM user interface. So that an output from the machine can be generated in the form of a room key which will then be used to enter the selected room.

Abstract

This study aims to overcome the problem of selecting the best customer at Pematangsiantar Subur Graphic Printing. For the smooth running of the printing business, Subur Graphics maintains good relations with consumers by giving rewards to the best customers. In determining the best customer for graphic fertile printing, it is still done manually. To help overcome the problem of selecting the best customer, a decision support system is designed. Web-based decision support system built using the Weighted Product method. This decision support system uses criteria consisting of total shopping, payment method, length of subscription, payment status and total visits. The result of this research is a web-based decision support system with an output consisting of recommendations for the three best customers, namely the first best alternative Pd_Pphn with a vector value of V 0.085, the second best alternative GPIB Maranatha with a vector value of V 0.080, and the third best alternative SPTI_Ib_Mrni with a vector value of V 0.077. With a decision support system for determining the best customer using the weighted product method, Subur Graphic Printing can easily select the best customer.

Abstract

This paper aims to grouping data using Clustering method with k-means algorithm to find potential majors and type of schools that produce feature students who have a good GPA score in semester 1 and semester 2 at Politeknik STMI Jakarta. Dataset from academic data for 2017-2020 has been processed with Rapid Miner showing that in Automotive Business Administration study program there are 3 clusters of students where cluster 0 marked as best cluster is dominated by high school students majoring in Science and Social Sciences. Automotive Industry Information System study program produces 2 clusters of students where cluster 0 marked as best cluster is dominated by high school students majoring in science and vocational high school majoring in mechanical engineering. Automotive Industrial Engineering study program produces 2 clusters of students where cluster 1 marked as best cluster is dominated by high school students majoring in science. Polymer Chemical Engineering study program produces 6 student clusters where cluster 4 marked as best cluster which all come from high school students majoring in science.

Abstract

Job vacancies are important information needed by college graduates, especially KH University students. A. Wahab Hasbullah (UNWAHA) Jombang to get a job so that it can improve the family economy. However, information about jobs with specifications that are scattered and not centralized makes it difficult for university graduates to access it. To overcome this, it is necessary to have a container that is able to accommodate this information which will make it easier for graduates to find work through information centered on job vacancies websites and be able to recommend job vacancies that are in accordance with the skills possessed by graduates. Making this application using the waterfall method, the waterfall method or waterfall method is a system design method that reflects structured basic development activities. The application that will be made is based on a website that produces a website as a repository for job vacancies. This application uses HTML, MySQL and PHP programming languages. The CodeIgniter 3 framework in website-based application development is compatibility with hosting, which is better and easier to integrate, making it suitable for website development.

Abstract

Animation itself can be a medium for educating children as well as entertaining, although in the majority of animations it is still considered as instant entertainment, but often children are inspired and then imitate the behavior of the characters in the films they have just seen. Even for some circles, animation has become memorable and remembered for years. This is the motivation of the author to design an animations, as well as deliver works containing moral messages that can later be remembered by new generations. The animation itself is designed through several stages, such as script writing, storyboarding, keyframe drawing, animation refinement (inbetween), and voice-over to complete the film's elements. After the animation becomes a complete video, the animation is published through various media, which one of them is Youtube channel.

Abstract

Universities are not only required to provide services for students, but also must be able to compete to maintain service quality. This demand is absolutely necessary in order to create a loyalty for the community which will become valuable capital for an organization in the future. This study aims to recommend the satisfaction of Indonesian business polytechnic students by using the C4.5 data mining classification technique. Sources of data were obtained from questionnaires distributed via google form to final semester students (class of 2018) at the Indonesian Business Polytechnic. The attributes used to assess visitor satisfaction include: Tuition Fee Tariff, Campus Facilities, Administrative Services, Lecturer Services, Recommendation Level. The results of data processing using the C4.5 method through the RapidMiner tools obtained an accuracy value of 80.00%, precision 79.19%, and recall 79.19% with Satisfied criteria.

Abstract

A banking company has a goal to improve the economy and people's welfare. In addition, banking companies such as PT. BPR Suadana must also improve employee performance and welfare. One way is to increase performance in the form of salary. Payroll system at PT. BPR Suadana currently looks still manual. Where in the salary input is still recorded manually. This makes time inefficient and increases the risk of errors in the payroll process. This study aims to build an information system used in the payroll system at PT. BPR Suadana. The method used in the construction of this payroll system is the Linear Sequential Model SDLC method. The results of this research are in the form of a web-based payroll system that can be accessed and used by related divisions, namely HRD, Funds Section, and also the Director. the results of the TAM test that has been carried out by the author, it can be seen that the percentage results of 88% of users or respondents stated strongly agree and 8% agreed, that the payroll system at PT. BPR Suadana that has been made by the author is easy to use and very useful in overcoming payroll problems at PT. BPR Suadana.

Abstract

Attendance is an activity that is so important and cannot be separated from a teaching and learning activity to calculate and see student attendance. In this Final Project, research on the automatic attendance system is carried out through facial recognition identification (face recognition) using a webcam as a system input, then the resulting image capture results from each image will be processed through feature extraction using the LBPH (Local Binary Pattern Histogram) method and classification with the KNN (K-Nearest Neighbor) method and the help of OpenCV library-based Python software. The research in this Final Project obtained an average accuracy value in facial recognition using LBPH (Local Binary Pattern Histogram) of 93.9%, with an average FAR value of 4.66% and an average FRR value of 1.33%. For the classification of KNN (K-Nearest Neighbor) using Euclidean Distance when k = 1 obtained an accuracy of 100% with a computation time of 34 ms, at the time of k = 3 an accuracy of 98% with a computation time of 37 ms was obtained and at the time of k = 5 an accuracy of 88% with a computation time of 42 ms.

Abstract

Advertising is a very effective way for product marketing, this method is often used to disseminate product information to be marketed. Errors in the analysis of products to be marketed resulted in significant losses to the company due to errors in the exploration of Big Data processing. Big data is described as large-scale data that can be presented, processed and analyzed using existing technologies, methods and theories. Therefore, an assessment of the big data of video game operators that is in demand by the market is carried out to determine the highest and lowest sales of video games using the Exploratory Data Analysis method so that a company can determine the games to be promoted and produced. The results obtained in this study that have the highest and lowest sales of video games in the global market by genre are action at 1745.27 and strategy at 174.5. And for sales by platform, PS2 is 1255.64 and PCFX is 0.03. With this method, video game sales can be presented graphically, making it easier for companies to determine which games to market and promote small game sales.
