Abstract

This study aims to analyze the costs and benefits required to produce swiftlet nests. Swallow's nest is a very popular health product today. This can happen because swallow's nest has many health benefits such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiaging, anticancer, increasing immunity and accelerating wound healing. Currently, the production of swallow's nest at PT. Cefa Indonesia Sejahtera Lestari is difficult to do so that swallow nest products are expensive. To help PT. Cefa Indonesia Sejahtera Lestari overcomes the problem of the cost of processing dirty swallow's nests to finished products so that they can be handled properly using the C5.0 algorithm by classifying these problems. The results showed that the root node was obtained, namely the drying stage of the swallow's nest. If the costs required at this stage are equivalent to the existing capital, the company will benefit. Conversely, if the required cost exceeds the existing capital, the company will experience a loss.

Abstract

The development of cloud computing technology that is mushrooming in the world, as well as in Indonesia, is one of the causes of revolutionary changes in trends that have made many industries / organizations / agencies / institutions / companies adopt and implement them. To face the challenges of these technological developments, the Indonesian Business Polytechnic Murni Sadar Campus Pematangsiantar City is one of the private universities engaged in the world of education ready to face these changing trends to take part in educating the nation's children. The challenge of the development of cloud computing technology is to design a system with openstack as the software platform for the cloud, the ubuntu server as the operating system uses virtualization with virtualbox in order to obtain a capable system before being implemented to a physical server in the laboratory room in order to increase the efficiency of lectures. aimed at meeting the needs for practicum activities for students at the PBI campus so that they can taste and explore cloud computing technology so that they have additional knowledge to face the revolution of industrial 5.0.

Abstract

Development business beauty business is currently growing rapidly with following changes technology and method look somebody to style life, good women nor man always want to come on stage interesting as well as perfect for cover the drawbacks with do various method among others do maintenance beauty. Wrong business or form in field beauty which there is that is salon which is form business wich is related with service beauty, which offer various maintenance from hair ends until toe. However in beauty salon Maria Studio Beauty from consumers to owner still not maximal, then from that writer make system E-Booking beauty salon. The method used in this research is (UCD). UCD is technique that places the user at the center of the system design process. The biggest benefit of implementing UCD is that it can provide a more accurate defenition of requirements from system users. This method is used to produce a user interface design that is in accordance with the experience and needs for the user. With this Beauty Salon E-Booking system, it can make it more for consumers to choose to type of service they need and can help Maria Studio Beautu owners in managing salons using the system.

Abstract

In a company or organization archives play an important role in supporting the activities carried out. Archives are documents that are stored to be reused when needed, therefore if the archived documents are not done properly it will hinder the process of further activities. At the Lawe Bulan sub-district office there are problems with the archive process which is still done conventionally. This raises several obstacles, such as the document search process which takes a long time, and over time the increasing number of archive documents makes the need for hardcopy document storage greater and there will be a risk of damage or loss of documents. Based on this, the authors offer a solution using a web-based data archive system with sequential search method. Sequential search method is an algorithm used to search for random or non-sequential data by tracing the array from beginning to end. This will certainly simplify the process of searching for archival data and simplify archival activities compared to using conventional archive systems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to optimize the use of student cards owned by students, to perform automatic student attendance and as a student's school exam card each semester. The method used is to integrate three main parts, namely the RFID System (cliet), Gateway System, and Server. The designed student card contains a UID (RFID Tag) which is read by an RFID reader every time students enter class for attendance and also when taking school exams. The RFID tag will be data that will be forwarded to Arduino Mega as a data processor and forwarded through the System Gateway to a server in the form of an orange pi so that it can be monitored by the operator. The test results for 5 times the test, the average response time for network access and getting the IP address from the router is 16.6 seconds, the average time the device responds to active student RFID card data from the database is 2.6 seconds. The average time of student's RFID card access to the device to the web server application is 3.8 seconds

Abstract

Technological advances supported by human knowledge have a very good influence on data and information storage technology, including in predicting student graduation (Graduation Prediction) on time, by applying several existing algorithms. In this study, researchers used the C5.0 Algorithm and Linear Regression. The concept of the research is to compare two algorithms, namely C5.0 and Linear Regression to the case of graduating students on time. Based on the length of study, students who graduated correctly amounted to 651 (91%) with a male gender of 427 students and a female gender of 224 students while those who did not pass (late) correctly amounted to 64 (9%) with a male gender totaling 53 students and female gender totaling 11 students from 2017-2020. Comparison results The R2 score from the C5.0 algorithm reached 96.85% (training) and 93.72% (testing) while the R2 score from the Linear Regression reached 33.31% (training) and 40.30% (testing).

Abstract

This study aims to design a decision support system for choosing a culinary business location typical of the Bagansiapiapi area in the Bagan Batu area. The many variations of the typical culinary of Bagansiapiapi are in great demand by the people in the Bagan Batu area. Therefore, opening a culinary business for regional specialties is one of the businesses that has the potential to advance in Bagan Batu. To help entrepreneurs who want to choose a culinary business location in the Bagan Batu area, a computer-based Decision Support System is designed. The decision support system for selecting the location of this entrepreneur uses the Topsis method. The criteria used in this study consisted of 5 criteria, namely the level of population density, rental fees, access to business locations, convenience of parking lots, cleanliness of business locations. The results of this study are recommendations for business locations in the form of alternative rankings that can be taken into consideration as the chosen location. Of the 5 alternative data processed in this DSS, the best alternative location is location 4 with a weighted value of 0.6566.

Abstract

Wildlife park is a means that can be used as a place to add understanding, knowledge, and insight that is fun for every tourists both for children, students and can be obtained by all tourists, because the function of the wildlife park in addition to being a tourist attraction is also a place of education. In an effort to develop and improve the service of wildlife park attractions visit is one of the factors in improving a service in the wildlife park so that tourists feel comfortable and safe to visit wildlife park attractions. Therefore, wildlife park attractions will further improve the service of visitation by creating a system as a medium of improvement of services in wildlife parks. In the use of a system will make an advantage in utilizing technology that is used as a medium of promotion of wildlife park attractions and also as a medium of information for tourists. Therefore, in the development and increase of wildlife park attractions, a high cooperation is required to increase visits in wildlife park.

The development of technology is growing rapidly nowadays, one of them is an mobile system that widely used to facilitate all affairs from all fields that can change people's behavior towards the digital era, so that society is greatly facilitated in all aspects, e-tickets are one of the system developments. information that is currently widely used on various platforms such as smartphones and computers, android is an OS that has many advantages and lots of features to make it easier for us to do various jobs, one of which is selling tickets using android for ticket sales so that ticket sales work more efficiently. today's smartphone is not only a means of communication, but smart phones have many uses, including for business, games, payments, etc. With the development of science and technology, people's lifestyles have been like culture, economy, society, and education, So this research we use android to be able to run the e-ticket application using a Bluetooth printer to make it more efficient place and time for data management which later this application is made with a hybrid mobile application with fremwork7 to connect to our database using API and MySQL.

The diligence of employees is an important factor for agencies and businesses to achieve their goals, it is related to discipline and affects the work performance of each employee. Therefore, it is necessary to collect special data for attendance records so that work activities can be recorded accurately and in real time. There are many ways to implement a good attendance and attendance information system, one of which is using computer technology applied to web-based attendance and attendance applications. As a case study and research site, at CU. The source of love City Balai Berkuak was originally used in the process of presence with the help of fingerprints, because during a pandemic like this it is still not effective, because it is possible to spread the covid19 virus. In addition, the risk of errors and loss of attendance data is quite large. Based on the above issues, an employee attendance information system has been built at UC.
