Abstract

The study aims to determine the relationship between family support and nutritional status of the elderly in Ngadirejo Village. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that elderly people with high family support who had good nutritional status were 38 respondents (41.3%), elderly people who had low family support with nutritional status were at risk of malnutrition as many as 1 respondent (1.1%), elderly people who had family support 7 respondents (7.6%) had low nutritional status with malnutrition, and most respondents had moderate family support who had nutritional status at risk of malnutrition as many as 46 respondents (50%). In conclusion, there is a relationship between family support and the nutritional status of the elderly in Ngadirejo Village. Keywords: Family Support, Elderly, Nutrition

Abstract

This study explores strategies for implementing Indonesian nursing diagnoses, interventions, and outcomes for hospital nurses. This research method uses a scoping review approach. The research results found 12 articles that describe seven main components of strategies for implementing standard diagnosis, intervention, and outcomes of Indonesian nursing, namely educational programs, case study discussions, assistance using instruments, observation, innovation, role play, and demonstration. Conclusion The strategy for implementing training, case study discussions, and service using devices, words, innovation, role play, and demonstrations can increase nurses' knowledge and skills in nursing practice and patient safety using Indonesian hospital nursing standards. Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out practical reflective methods that are suitable for improving nurses' spiritual care competence. This research uses the scoping review method. Literature search on electronic databases namely SCOPUS, Science Direct, ProQuest. The time the article was published was January 2013 to December 2022. The final search results were 7 articles that met the inclusion criteria. There are three themes, namely group reflection methods that are appropriate to be applied in the clinical area of nursing, the role of the facilitator for reflection groups as the key to conveying the spiritual care experience of nurses, and a conducive teaching and learning environment in the clinical area. The conclusion from this research is that there is a need for reflection methods that are adapted to the needs of nurses in clinical areas. Nursing management can carry out guided group reflection methods for implementing nurses and training facilitators to lead group reflection. Apart from that, a safe and comfortable environment is needed in sharing experiences in groups. Keywords: Nurse Competency, Reflective Practice, Spiritual care

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and family support on the intention to have sputum examined in a group suspected of having tuberculosis in the Margoyoso II Health Center. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The design in this study is analytic with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that of the 113 respondents who had low knowledge about tuberculosis, 44 (67.7%) had a low attitude towards sputum examination, 47 (65.3%), and 55 (85.9%) had a low level of family support. Results The knowledge variable has a p value of 0.003, attitude has a p value of 0.006, family support has a p value <0.0001. The results of the probability variables of knowledge, attitudes, and family support are smaller than the significant level of 5% (0.05), meaning that it can be concluded that there is a relationship related to knowledge, attitudes, and family support on the intention to check sputum in the suspected tuberculosis group in the Work Area of ​​the Margoyoso II Health Center . Abstract

This literature study aims to determine Effectiveness of Blood Glucose Monitoring by Sampling on the Palm of the Hand in Reducing Needlestick Pain in Diabetes Mellitus Patients. The research design is a systematic review, using 6 databases, ProQuest, EMBASE, SpringerLink, Sage Journals, Scopus and Taylor and Francis. A total of 10 articles were reviewed from 2010 to 2022. The keywords used in the literature search were Diabetes Mellitus AND Blood Glucose AND pain AND palm site AND fingertip. The protocol and literature review evaluation used the Critical Appraisal Skills Program issued by the JBI Guideline. The results of the study showed that the palms of the hands as blood glucose sampling sites were effective in reducing pain due to needle pricks in patients with diabetes mellitus. In addition, pain can also be minimized by adjusting the diameter of the lancet and the depth of the puncture and using the latest technology/method for testing blood glucose. In conclusion, palms as an alternative site for blood glucose sampling are effective in reducing pain due to needle pricks in patients with diabetes mellitus. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of aromatherapy on sleep quality and anxiety in elderly adult population patients. The method used is a systematic review related to the management of sleep disorders and anxiety with aromatherapy. The results showed that aromatherapy given by inhalation and massage methods with lavender, rosa damascene, chamomile and neroli essential oils for at least three nights and a maximum of thirty days was considered to have an effect on sleep quality and anxiety. Conclusion, aromatherapy is effective in improving sleep quality and reducing anxiety. Keywords: Anxiety, Aromatherapy, Sleep Quality

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an educational model for implementing discharge planning by utilizing telenursing through creating video content using the METHOD (Medication, Environment, Treatment, Health teaching, Outpatient referral, Diet) approach to improve ostomate self-care management. The research method used was the Delphi studi and this research was conducted in three phases, namely a literature review related to the content and educational model of discharge planning, video content development using the Delphi study accompanied by an evaluation of the validity of the video content by experts, and a pilot study to evaluate the ability of self care management ostomate using the Self Care Agency Scale (SCAS) questionnaire. The research result obtained 17 educational discharge planning items were obtained from the results of the literature review and the Delphi study which were used as video content. The results of the evaluation after the educational intervention showed that there was a significant increase in ostomate self-care management skills (p = 0.000). In conclusion, discharge planning education based on telenursing which is based on the METHOD approach, and provided in video form can be one of the recommendations for interventions in nursing practice to improve ostomate self care management. Abstract

This study aims to examine the literature that explores the effectiveness of music therapy in reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The method used is a literature study method using secondary data from previous research which is a journal published from 2018 to 2020 in English and Indonesian journals. The inclusion criteria in this study were: articles explaining music therapy and its benefits in reducing blood pressure, original research, and subjects in this study were patients with hypertension. The types of studies used were randomized controlled trials and quasi-experiments. The literature search used the Clinicalkey, Proquest, Wiley online library, PubMed, and Google Scholar databases. Using the keywords "music therapy" "combination" and "hypertension" or "blood pressure". The results showed that nine studies related to music therapy can reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients with an average decrease in systolic pressure of 10-29mmHg and diastolic pressure of 2-16mmHg. In conclusion, music therapy has a positive effect on lowering blood pressure in hypertension sufferers. Keywords: Hypertension, Music Therapy, Blood Pressure

Abstract

The aim of this literature review is to obtain an overview regarding the effectiveness of stretching, such as reducing complaints of low back pain, relaxing muscles, preventing spasms, and preventing musculoskeletal disorders due to work risks and increasing the knowledge of office workers with exercises that can provide comfort. The method used in this journal analysis is a literature review resulting from the identification of several journals. The results of the research show that stretching is a relaxation activity for the muscles that can increase muscle flexibility and mobility and can maximize the range of motion of the joints. Stretching is done routinely 2-3 times every week with 15-30 second movements and repeated 2-3 times. time. In conclusion, stretching is an exercise that has been proven to have a significant effect on reducing low back pain. Apart from that, stretching can also relax the muscles while working, so that office workers can feel comfortable while working. Keywords: Low Back Pain, Pain, Office Workers, Stretching

Abstract

This review aims to systematically identify and analyze the effectiveness of educational video media in increasing patient knowledge in diabetic foot care. This research is a systematic review based on the PRISMA checklist. The study designs in this review are Pre-Experiment, Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) and Quasi Experimental. Search for study articles using the PubMed, Science Direct, Willey, ProQuest, Garuda, Gray Literature and Coachrane Library databases. Article quality assessment was carried out using CASP, Cochran risk of bias and John Hopkins. The results of the research, of the six articles that have been included, four articles use a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) study design, one article uses a Quasi Experimental study design and one article uses a Pre-Experiment Conclusion study design, all research results show an increase in knowledge after being given education health videos about foot care.
