Abstract

This research aims to determine non-pharmacological intervention strategies in treating sleep disorders in breast cancer patients. The method uses a systematic review, by identifying nursing problems faced by breast cancer survivors, determining research questions, exploring relevant research, and carrying out data extraction. The results show that there are various non-pharmacological intervention strategies for sleep disorders in breast cancer patients, both single and combination therapy. These interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Sleep Hygiene Education (SHE), Bright Light Therapy (BLT), internet-based interventions, Acupressure, Acupuncture, Tai Chi, Dance Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Yoga. In conclusion, various non-pharmacological intervention strategies can be carried out by oncology nurses independently, where each intervention has its own advantages. In its implementation to patients, should adapt to cultural backgrounds, be flexible, easy to apply, doesn’t require large costs, effective, efficient, and focuses on patient needs. Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of telehealth on diet compliance in CKD patients. The research method used systematic review sought relevant articles using MeSH-based keywords. Relevant full-text articles were retrieved from four databases: Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, and ProQuest. Research guidelines followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). The results showed that Telehealth programs can increase patient knowledge about the disease, treatment, laboratory results that show better results, and compliance. Telehealth interventions are promising avenues for CKD treatment delivery due to advances in technology and information. Telehealth programs may represent windows of opportunity, diet education, counselling with dieticians, sharing experience with others resulted improving patient’s knowledge on the disease, treatment, and compliance. Future telehealth programs that focus on developing the contents of telehealth modules based on evidence from this study. Keywords: Telehealth, Chronic Kidney Disease, Compliance, Health Service

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-management and blood pressure values ​​in hypertensive patients at UNS Hospital. The method used in this research is a cross sectional approach with a correlational quantitative descriptive research design. The research results were based on the results of the Spearman rank correlation test between self-management and blood pressure values, with a p-value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient value of 0.363. The results of the research show that there is a correlation between self-management and blood pressure values ​​in hypertensive patients with the level of strength of the relationship between the two variables in the sufficient category. In conclusion, there is a relationship between self-management and blood pressure values ​​in hypertensive patients. Keywords: Self Management, Blood Pressure, Hypertension

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of new services and the use of technology in innovation strategies at Hospital X during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method uses a case study approach with interviews, document review, and observation, as well as Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The research results show that health service innovation strategies at Hospital hospital services such as registration, payment transactions, service outreach, or online consultations. Apart from that, increasing the use of e-health or IT, such as telemedicine, drive-thru vaccination, drive-thru PCR/antigen/antibody swabs, MCU on site, and home care, etc. can provide speed and accuracy in service delivery. In conclusion, in the digital era, the pace of change has become very fast. Hospital X applies these strategic, creative, execution and organizational factors in innovation. Abstract

This study aims to identify sexual dysfunction assessment instruments used in population-based studies of cancer patients. The method in this review used a systematic review that began in September - December 2023. Using Ebsco, Scopus, Proquest, and Pubmed databases, the results showed that instruments used to assess sexual dysfunction must have valid and reliable psychometric properties. Conclusion: the choice of sexual dysfunction assessment instrument depends on the type of study and the purpose of the study. Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of digitization in the documentation of nursing care for community nurses in home care services. Involving aspects of implementation, benefits and barriers in using electronic nursing documentation. The method used was using electronic databases such as Ebsco, Scopus, Proquest, and PubMed published between 2020-2023. Based on the initial search, there were 8 relevant articles out of 320 articles found. The results showed that the implementation of electronic nursing care documentation has a positive impact on patients, nurses and health services. However, several obstacles were found, namely the skills and knowledge of nurses on electronic documentation are still lacking, so training is needed. Internet network constraints are also very influential, especially in rural areas. In conclusion, there is a gap between the need for internet and internet distribution which is a challenge for the government in developing digitalization in the health sector and improving nurses' skills in electronic documentation. Abstract

This study aims to identify what assessments can be used to screen cognitive function in children with chronic illnesses. The method used is a systematic review using the PRISMA flow diagram. Researchers used PIOs and searched for English language articles published from 2013 to October 2023. The databases used were PubMed, ProQuest, Science Direct, Taylor & Francis, Scopus, and EBSCO Medline. This systematic review showed that the initial total of articles obtained from all databases was 5889. After limiting the articles, 297 articles were obtained, which were then screened according to the inclusion criteria, with the final result being eight articles with a cross-sectional design. In conclusion, four instruments for assessing cognitive function in children with chronic diseases include Ouvrier modified MMSE, EpiTrack Junior (EpitrackJR), pedsFACIT-PCF, and Ped-ANAM. The Ouvrier-modified MMSE is widely used in several kinds of literature and is validated against standard cognitive function examinations by examination. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the various spiritual needs of patients with advanced cancer. The method used was a systematic review with article searches in nine journal databases, such as PubMed, Scopus, EBSCOhost, ClinicalKey Nursing, SpringerLink, PMC, Sage Journal, ProQuest, and ScienceDirect. Article analysis used the PRISMA method. The results showed that there were six articles that met the criteria that discussed spiritual needs in advanced cancer patients. All articles used quantitative research methods with a cross-sectional design. In conclusion, spiritual needs in advanced cancer patients can include the need for connection, peace, meaning or purpose, and transcendence. Meeting spiritual needs through holistic nursing care can help patients reduce suffering. Keywords: Advanced Cancer, Spiritual Needs

Abstract

This study aims to determine the dietary habits of pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (CHD) at Puskesmas Leles Garut Regency. This research method is descriptive-quantitative by involving 31 pregnant women experiencing first, second, and third trimester SEZ in the age range of 20-35 years at Puskesmas Leles Garut Regency with total sampling. The results showed that 22.6% had bad dietary habits, and 77.4% had good dietary habits. In conclusion, only a small proportion of pregnant women have bad dietary habits because they do not pay attention to the frequency of eating and drinking. Abstract

This study aims to identify the most effective technology for preterm infant care, so as to improve knowledge, maternal skills and growth of preterm infants. The research method used was systematic review using five databases, namely Proquest, ScienceDirect, Emeraldinsight, PubMed, ClinicalKey. The results showed that 10 research articles could improve the knowledge, skills, and growth of preterm infants, such as: Booklet, tele-rehabilitation-based educational technology EI (Early Intervention), Family Integrated Care and Mobile Technology (m-FiCare m-Health, Telenursing education of premature, web application. Conclusion The most effective educational technology and has the advantage of accessing education is the web. Keywords: Baby Care, Premature, Technology
