Abstract

This study analyses the state's failure to implement good governance in the One Village One Product (OVOP) programme in rural communities of sambas Regency. It focuses on three main factors: abuse of power and ethical violations, lack of transparency and accountability, and limited community participation. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the study analysed interviews with local officials, village officials, and communities, as well as official documents related to OVOP implementation. The results showed that the government's dominance in programme development hindered community and private sector involvement. The practice of nepotism, budget non-transparency, and decision-making that is not based on local needs causes the OVOP programme to be short-term project-oriented without clear sustainability. The conclusion of this study confirms that the failure of good governance implementation in OVOP is caused by weak control, lack of collaboration between actors, and low accountability. Governance reforms emphasising transparency, inclusive participation, and accountability are needed to improve the effectiveness of community-based development programmes. Abstract

This research examines community empowerment as a strategy to build social resilience in North Jakarta, specifically in Kampung Aquarium and Kampung Tanah Merah, during the leadership of Governor Anies Baswedan. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with literature study and relevant field documentation, the findings reveal that the Kampung Susun Aquarium program and the administrative legalization of Tanah Merah are progressive policies rooted in community participation. Through a collaborative approach involving local government, grassroots communities, and civil society organizations, a model of empowerment emerged that prioritizes the right to the city and social justice. Kampung Susun provides not only adequate housing but also revives social, economic, and cultural networks previously dismantled by forced evictions. Similarly, the partial legalization of Tanah Merah has enabled access to public services and civil documents. Nonetheless, challenges persist, including the absence of permanent land tenure, limited infrastructure, and reliance on inconsistent political will. Therefore, regulatory strengthening, human resource capacity building, and policy continuity across administrations are essential to ensure long-term success. This study concludes that social resilience can be achieved through inclusive and sustainable empowerment, provided there is strong political commitment and active community involvement throughout the planning and evaluation stages of urban development

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of public services as the Dukun Community Health Center in Magelang Regency using the SERVQUAL model as an evaluative approach to health service performance. The focus of the study is directed at measuring the gap between community expectations and perceptions of the five dimensions of service quality: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, and their implications for strengthening local public service governance. The study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a Likert scale questionnaire instrument (1-4). The sample was determined by the Slovin formula (n=100, e=5%).The analysis was carried out by combining the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) method and SERVQUAL gap analysis referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform No. 14/2017. The results of the study indicate that all dimensions of service quality at the Dukun Health Center are still in the “Poor” category, with the largest gaps in the aspects of infrastructure, limited medical personnel, service waiting times, and low empathy and responsiveness of officers. These findings indentify the need for reformulation of service management strategies based on increasing resource capacity, as well empathetic communication training for health workers.Conceptually, this study contributes to expanding the application of the SERVQUAL model in rural areas and provides an empirical basis for improving community satisfaction-oriented health center governance.

Abstract

Corruption is an extraordinary crime that has a significant impact on state finances, the economy, and the socio-cultural structure of society. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of social sanctions in preventing and eradicating corruption in Indonesia, as well as to develop more effective social sanction innovations. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data were collected through document analysis, interviews with legal experts, and literature review. The results indicate that social sanctions can be an effective form of punishment in preventing and eradicating corruption. Social sanction innovations, such as erecting statues of corruptors and writing biographies of corruptors, can increase deterrent effects and public awareness of the dangers of corruption. This study recommends that the government develop clear and firm regulations to legalize social sanctions for corruptors and raise public awareness of the importance of integrity and accountability in government and business. These social sanction innovations can be a more effective and innovative alternative punishment in eradicating corruption in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought about changes in the abundance of consumer personal data on online shopping and lending applications. This phenomenon has implications for the increased collection and processing of consumer personal data by application providers, which poses the potential for privacy violations if the data is misused by unauthorized parties. This is necessary for the protection of personal data to provide legal certainty for consumers. This study aims to analyze electronic contract law in relation to the protection of consumer personal data. The research method used is a normative and empirical juridical approach, with data collection through literature studies and observations of the practices and behavior of online shopping and lending application users in the field. The results indicate that increasing consumer legal awareness and the responsibility of application providers in implementing personal data protection principles are key factors in creating a safe, fair, and trustworthy electronic transaction ecosystem. Therefore, the implementation of electronic contract law based on the principles of justice and legal certainty is a crucial effort to protect consumer rights in the digital era.
