Abstract

Induction Furnace is equipment that is widely used in the metal or steel industry, this equipment is usually used to process metallic or non-metallic minerals in the reduction or smelting process. Induction furnaces have a frequency value in an induction furnace that can reach 2000Hz, and the DC voltage can be adjusted to reach 800VDC. By using a filter you can reduce harmonics as small as possible until the waveform is closer to sinusoidal. Research to analyze the steps for installing a hybrid filter to reduce harmonic distortion. The analysis results from the hybrid filter simulation can reduce the total harmonic distortion value with the THD value according to IEEE 152-1992.

Abstract

Increased ammonia gas pollution which affects the health of quail become disturbed. In the handling carried out by breeders until now. This still uses simple procedures, so it gives rise to several problems such as carelessness in cleaning up dirt and not knowing ammonia gas levels. The design that will be made can clean up dirt quail automatically if the ammonia gas level exceeds 30 PPM so Quail health is better and breeders can detect ammonia gas a safe distance to avoid respiratory problems. This tool is intended to turn manual cleaning into programmed with a tool that can try to clean quail droppings automatically every time ammonia gas exceeding 30 PPM combined with water spraying cleaning disinfectant and programmed temperature control when the temperature inside the cage exceeds 27° C the dc fan turns on and the light turns off then vice versa, with using Arduino Uno as a microcontroller, ESP-01 as a connection Wireless with cell phone, MQ-135 sensor to read ammonia gas levels, sensor DHT22 to read the temperature in the cage, ultrasonic sensor to determine cleaning water tank capacity, blynk application to display ammonia gas levels and can show the number of cleanings for quail cages at that distance safe, and a conveyor belt to move quail droppings.

Abstract

The sales of pharmaceutical products among the public are increasing, especially with the recent pandemic that has led to an increase in drug sales. This has created significant potential for the pharmaceutical industry or drug sales businesses. However, proper marketing plans are required in the pharmaceutical industry to optimize revenue. Analyzing drug sales trends can provide valuable insights for creating excellent marketing plans. To develop a superior marketing plan, an analysis of sales transaction data is necessary with the help of data mining, which is useful for obtaining important information from the dataset being analyzed. The Apriori algorithm is used in this research to examine association rule patterns of drug sales in pharmacies The sales information used as dataset is consisting of 600,000 transactional data collected over six years (2014–2019). This dataset includes the date and time of sales, pharmaceutical drug brands, and other relevant information.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology is accompanied by an increase in cyber incidents such as data breaches. One of the security methods that can be implemented to enhance data security against data breaches is by applying cryptography to data management systems. Cryptography is useful for encrypting plaintext into ciphertext, making the data not easily readable. One of the encryption algorithms widely used in data security is Blowfish and Twofish. Blowfish and Twofish are symmetric encryption algorithms that use a single key for encryption and decryption. This journal focuses on testing the encryption and decryption of Blowfish and Twofish algorithms in relation to space and time complexity. The results of testing three sets of data on two different devices indicate that the Blowfish algorithm has better speed than Twofish, while Twofish performs better than Blowfish in terms of memory usage. Moreover, the usage of the processor affects the speed of the process.

Abstract

Currently induction motors are widely used in industry because of their strong construction,high efficiency, and low maintenance. Machine maintenance is necessary to extend the life of the induction motor. Based on previous research, bearing faults can cause 42% - 50% of all motor failures. Generally this is caused by manufacturing errors, lack of lubrication and installation errors. Motor misalignment is one of the errors in installation. This research is concerned with descrete wavelete transform simulations to identify misalignment in induction motors. Modeling of motor operation is introduced in this paper as normal operation and two variations of misalignment. Haar and symlet wavelet transformations at the first level to the third level are used to extract the motor vibration signal into a high frequency signal. Then the energy signal and other signal extracts obtained form the high frequency signal are evaluated to analyze the condition of the motor. This evaluation process uses fuzzy logic of the fuzzy subspace cluster type. The results of research using a combination method of signal processing in the form of DWT and artificial intelligence methods of the fuzzy subspace cluster type. Then the occurrence of misalignment in three-phase induction motors can be detected early. So that maintenance and replacement can be anticipated before misalignment occurs. From the experimental result, it was obtained that motor and clutch endurance test for level 1 of the fuzzy subspace cluster method was 0,88% better than the fuzzy c-mean method of 0,75%.

Abstract

A house is the most valuable asset, especially since the door is the main element that only connects the occupants in and out. There are valuable items in the house, therefore security in the house is very important. created a home security system that combines a microcontroller with an Android smartphone application. The microcontroller used is Esp32-Cam which is equipped with a camera as a home security monitoring system and there are several sensors as detection tools such as an Rfid sensor and a doorlock solenoid as an automatic door lock. This research method is to conduct a literature study about the internet of things-based door security system with Esp32 and Blynk that will be created. Then determine the specifications that will be used as well as the applications and electronic circuits that will be used. Then design all the available components to become a prototype. Then testing and evaluation will be carried out regarding the data obtained. If the data meets the required standards, conclusions will be drawn immediately. Thus, the author wants to create a tool to detect anyone who enters the house by utilizing an Rfid sensor, keypad and Esp32-Cam connected to the Esp32 microcontroller module which will detect the serial number, which can later be monitored via the Blynk application by utilizing IoT (Internet Of Things) technology.

Abstract

This research investigates the global public's perception of the phenomenon of Virtual YouTubers (VTubers) who offer romantic experiences such as "boyfriend" or "girlfriend experience." Involving sentiment analysis, this study collected and classified 1623 comments from social media platforms using the Microsoft Azure algorithm. The analysis results indicate that the majority of the public holds a negative view of such relationships, depicting the complexity of social interactions in the digital world. These findings underscore the importance of understanding the impact of VTubers' phenomenon in the context of parasocial relationships. The research recommends increased discussions through other social platforms and the development of more advanced sentiment analysis models for a deeper understanding of this phenomenon. The research findings emphasize the relevance and complexity of VTubers' phenomenon in today's digital culture, highlighting the importance of developing social understanding of human interactions in a virtual context.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a basic need for society. The availability of electrical energy is one of the driving factors for improving the community's economy. However, the availability of electrical energy is not felt by the residents of Tipang Village. There are frequent power outages so that people sometimes go days without using electricity. Frequent power outages certainly disrupt community activities. One solution to overcome the electricity shortage is to use the waterfall channel to become a hydroelectric power plant. This power plant can be integrated with waterways to produce clean and sustainable electrical energy. The aim of this research is to calculate the flow rate of the water channel (river) in the Janji waterfall channel in Tipang Village, then analyze the energy potential of the river water flow around the Janji waterfall channel in Tipang Village. The results of the research are that the measured discharge of the Janji River, Tipang Village, Bakti Raja District is around 400 s/d. 600 liters per second and an average height of 35 m. Tipang Village's potential for a micro-hydro power plant (PLTMH) is 80 kW. If you use one Turbo Propeller type turbine (horizontal axis), 300 mm diameter and 1 3-phase synchronous generator unit, it can produce 35 kW of electricity from this potential, which can meet the electricity needs of the people of Tipang Village, Humbang Hasundutan Regency.

Abstract

Rapid economic development and urbanization in Indonesia have resulted in an increase in the amount of transportation. The increasing number of transportation users is not balanced with the increase in driving awareness, thereby exacerbating transportation problems. This imbalance has caused driving safety in Indonesia to become a concern. This is proven by the increasing number of traffic accidents and causing many victims. As many as 73% of traffic accidents occur when the weather is sunny and hot. Road temperature affects the friction that occurs on vehicle tires. The friction that occurs between the tires and the asphalt road causes changes in the structure and thickness of the vehicle tires which can trigger tire rupture on the vehicle. Based on these problems, the innovation of a tire pressure and temperature detection device using an infrared pyrometer sensor has emerged with additional modifications that enable the tire pressure detection device to work optimally and provide convenience for its users.

Abstract

The company inventory is one of the important aspects that receives primary attention in a company. Generally, companies with a vast and diverse inventory cater to clients and local employees. Therefore, company inventory becomes a primary concern for various businesses. However, in some companies, inventory tracking still relies on software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. This makes the recording and management of company inventory less efficient. Based on this issue, it is concluded that companies need an electronic inventory system or e-inventory. Hence, the development of a mobile-based inventory system is undertaken. This development utilizes the Waterfall method and the Flutter framework. The stages in the Waterfall method include requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The advantage of using this method is that the work is carried out gradually and systematically. The results of the research conducted using the Waterfall method include the creation of five pages or user interfaces: Dashboard, Login, Home, Saya, and Detail Alat. Each page has different functionalities. The user interface is created using the Flutter framework and tested using the black box testing method, resulting in alignment between user preferences and the application created.
