Abstract

In this digital era, business actors need to digitize their companies. One way to digitize is by creating a company profile website that could improve communication between clients and business actors. This research aim is to make a company profile website design at Zaeni Convection using WordPress. Zaeni Convection is a company engaged in the clothing industry. From the older research, Zaeni Convection needs a platform as a promotional medium for their company. In this study, the authors used the SDLC or Software Development Lifecycle method as a design to build a company profile website. In this study, 21 people filled out a questionnaire resulting that with the company profile website, promotional media became more efficient. The results of this study are a company profile website that can help companies promote their products and company profiles as well as company services.

Abstract

3D printers have grown in popularity in recent years because of their ability to print objects quickly and easily. The material used to print objects on a 3d printer is called the filament. Using recycled materials to produce 3D printer filament is gaining popularity in the 3D printing industry. One material that can be recycled to make filament is waste bottles of the Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) type. This research was conducted to see the effect of printing speed on object dimensional stability. In this study used an experimental method by designing variations in printing speed on a 3D printer and using waste bottle filament as raw material. Each variation of printing speed was repeated five times and the dimensions were measured using a micrometer. The results showed that printing speed affects the dimensional stability of 3D printing results from waste bottle filament.

Abstract

Community consumption power in the use of electricity resources is growing very rapidly. This is because the power source is the main need for the community. Without electricity, daily needs cannot run smoothly. In various regions, especially Kediri, where the needs are changing, it is necessary to predict and provide electricity to meet the consumption needs of the people. There are many things that can be done to predict the need for electric power, one of which is forecasting. Forecasting methods that can be used include trend and Monte Carlo Simulation. The results of this study indicate that Monte Carlo simulations are better at predicting long-term electrical power requirements at ULP3 Kediri. Long-term electricity demand can be predicted with the equation: Yt =138691 + 6709 x t + 231 x t2. The results of the research can help PLN UP3 Kediri to provide electricity for consumers.

Abstract

A hospital is a health service place providing comprehensive individual medical services that provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. Various facilities are used to support better hospital services. Facilities that are often used in hospitals are computers, laptops, printers, internet networks, and LAN networks. However, these facilities sometimes experience damage at any time, which can interfere with various activities in the hospital. In XYZ Hospital itself, damage complaints still use manual methods to make damage complaints Employees must go directly to the hospital information system division, which can cause ineffectiveness, and technicians need help handling damage complaints due to the absence of written data. This study aims to build a mobile and web-based XYZ home damage complaint application. It is expected to increase efficiency in making complaints, and technicians can more easily conduct damage complaints at XYZ Hospital.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology makes it easy for a company to get information. One is at Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) Regional Office 2 of West Java. One of the problems found is in the process of processing accounting data which is still done manually using the Spreadsheet application, so a Web-Based Accounting Information System is designed, with the software development method used namely a waterfall with the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling system tools. While the PHP programming language and MySQL database. This research produces an information system integrated into recording cash and preparing company cash reports. This accounting information system's design allows petty cash records to be managed effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The fan is a tool that is needed to rotate air circulation. In the market, fans are usually controlled manually by turning the control switch. The research problem is how to make a fan tool that can automatically turn on when there is a change in temperature. The purpose of this research is to facilitate users in using the fan. The method used is Research and Development. The stages of Research and Development include: data collection, design, and testing. The automatic fan control circuit consists of an atmega8 microcontroller integrated with a temperature sensor, button and relay. The circuit can display the temperature and can control the fan. The automatic fan control circuit is made on a PCB whose PCB layout is made using a computer with the PCB manufacturing process still using screen printing techniques. The conclusion is that the manufacture of automatic fan control devices integrated with temperature sensors, buttons and relays can facilitate the control of fans so that users do not need to control when the temperature changes.

Abstract

Website is one of the information and communication media that requires internet to run. Password generation is still less aware of user security. This provokes cyber criminals to carry out attacks to retrieve user login passwords. One possible attack is a brute force attack by experimenting with all possible passwords. This research aims to discuss brute force attack techniques and how to prevent them so that users can be more careful in creating passwords and be more aware of the security of their passwords. This research shows that the brute force method can work perfectly if there is no Captcha on the web login, limiting logins that do not block accounts for a long time, and not using Two Factor Authentication.

Abstract

The PeduliLindungi app has supported the government in controlling the spread of COVID-19. The purpose of this research is to explore new user needs and create design prototypes for the latest features of the PeduliLindungi application. Design thinking is used to know empathizing, define, ideate, and prototype. Figma Tools was chosen to develop a prototype that visualizes the latest features of the PeduliLindungi application. The results of this research are information about pain points from application users, problem statements, problem solving ideas, and user interface features for the new PeduliLindungi application. Based on the results of user pain points, the features developed are covid-19 event advertisements, Online Registration, Night Mode, Covid-19 educational videos, Tourist Visits, and Vaccine History. Based on the evaluation results using the Single Easy Question (SEQ), it is found that advertising, registration, night mode, and vaccine history are worth 7, meaning that the level of use is basic to use. Tourist visits and educational videos are worth 5.75, which means that improvements need to be made by taking into account notes from respondents during the testing process.

Abstract

To expand the coverage of current aviation VHF communication services, it is necessary to develop a satellite-based VHF communication system. This research aims to analyze the satellite link budget calculations for VHF AMS(R)S frequencies using a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite at an altitude of 600 km, in accordance with the studies conducted by ICAO and ITU. The link budget calculation, using parameters such as aircraft antenna gain = -1 dBi, satellite antenna gain = 8 dBi, RF power of the aircraft = 16 watts, and RF power of the satellite = 85 watts, results in satellite receiver sensitivity between -107 dBm - 25.56 dB, as well as aircraft receiver sensitivity between -93 dBm - 38.65 dB. When simulating an end-to-end link budget (loopback: aircraft-satellite-aircraft between 14.92 dB - 14 dB. Simulations were also carried out for voice communication using an AWGN channel illustration with an Eb/No of 10 dB, resulting in the performance of the VHF audio link.

Abstract

The government officially stopped broadcasting analog television or what is known as Analog Switch Off (ASO) on November 2, 2022, in Jabodetabek. It impacts analog TV users in Jabodetabek, who can no longer receive television broadcasts on their analog televisions. This research aimed to determine user acceptance of digital television broadcasts after implementing ASO in the Jabodetabek area. In the present study, the experience of digital TV users is evaluated using the UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) 2 model and the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The data was obtained from a questionnaire distributed through digital media for the Jabodetabek area. According to data processing, the two factors that significantly influence the user experience of digital television broadcasts are the Analog Switch Off (ASO) policy factor and the habit factor. The hypothesized model suitability test fits the resulting data and can affect the Behavioral Intention 41.4.
