During routine inspecting, mobile robot may be requested to visit multiple locations to execute special tasks occasionally. This study aims at optimal path planning for multiple goals visiting task based on tailored genetic algorithm. The proposed algorithm will generate an optimal path that has the least idle time, which is proven to be more effective on evaluating a path in our previous work. In proposed algorithm, customized chromosome representing a path and genetic operators including repair and cut are developed and implemented. Afterwards, simulations are carried out to verify the effectiveness and applicability. Finally, analysis of simulation results is conducted and future work is addressed.DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i1.3127

In this paper we presents a new component within the flexible ac-transmission system (FACTS) family, called Distributed Power-Flow Controller (DPFC). The DPFC is derived from the unified power-flow controller (UPFC). The DPFC can be considered as a UPFC with an eliminated common dc link. The active power exchange between the shunt and series converters, which is through the common dc link in the UPFC, is now through the transmission lines at the third-harmonic frequency. The DPFC employs the distributed FACTS (DFACTS) concept, which is to use multiple small-size single-phase converters instead of the one large-size three-phase series converter in the UPFC. The large number of series converters provides redundancy, thereby increasing the system reliability. As the D-FACTS converters are single-phase and floating with respect to the ground, there is no high-voltage isolation required between the phases. Accordingly, the cost of the DPFC system is lower than the UPFC. The DPFC has the same control capability as the UPFC, which comprises the adjustment of the line impedance, the transmission angle, and the bus voltage. The controller is designed to achieve the most appropriate operating point based on the real power priority.

An alibi is a priceless thing that someone can rely on when in needs. A good data management can and will save someone life in respond to any unwanted situation.A simple, accurate and trustworthy data log for students in boarding school can and will help ease parent-teacher monitoring system. However, the conventional system require student to manually inform and record their log to their parents and teachers. The system is lacks of automation where a number of problem may arise. The problem includes the inaccurate logging time, misplace of outing card and an unorganized log record. Web-Based Boarding School Monitoring System (WEBMOS) Using MySQL Database and RFID Technology were invented to solve this problem. This technology offered a system that can record student log data in an accurate manner. The aim is to build a system that can provide the accurate data to parent and teacher via a single click through their personal device. This system uses RFID module technology to monitor the student’s logs activity in real time manner. The monitoring system involve the utilization of Arduino Mega, Ethernet Shield, Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Module. The system performs an automated data log after the student flashed their card to RFID reader, the data is uploaded to database after the card being flashed and the uploaded information can be view at the webpage at anywhere and anytime. Thus, thesystem is capable of collecting and recording aprecise real time data logging for student’s activity.

The need for increasing the efficiency of the neuron-fuzzy model in the formation of knowledge bases is being updated. The task is to develop methods and algorithms for presetting and optimizing the parameters of a fuzzy neural network. To solve difficult formalized tasks, it is necessary to develop decision support systems - expert systems based on a knowledge base. ES developers are constantly faced with the problems of “extraction” and formalization of knowledge, as well as the search for new ways to obtain it. To do this, use the extraction, acquisition and formation of knowledge. Currently, the formation of knowledge bases is relevant for the creation of hybrid technologies - fuzzy neural networks that combine the advantages of neural network models and fuzzy systems. The analysis of the efficiency of the fuzzy neural network carried out in the work showed that the quality of training of the NN largely depends on the choice of the number of fuzzy granules for input drugs. In addition, to use fuzzy information formalized by the mathematical apparatus of fuzzy logic, procedures are required for selecting optimal forms and presetting the parameters of the corresponding membership functions (MF).

In the traditional QoS multicast network routing algorithm, when the node encounters abnormal traffic network data, the node data overflows. The current protocol is lack of directional guidance for overflow, which causes abnormal data jitter and disorder, the data path planning of traditional Qos protocol blocked and network delay. In order to solve this problem, this paper presents an enhanced safety algorithm for QoS multicast network routing optimization. The constraint relationship between security level of input parameters of network service request and trust level of network service is set, in order to judge and screen the traffic overflow nodes generated by abnormal operation. Then filtered set of network services is used to construct a multi-path network services digraph and converts it into web services selection tree in use of pointing relationship between sub-services. Finally, it sorts the paths and according to the size of Qos path selects the optimal one to carry out through tracing method. Simulation results show the new algorithm has optimum network quality of service and lower complexity. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i4.4245

Basing on the new method of in-situ desulfurization with gas injection and mechanical stirring, the effect of bubble dispersion and disintegration of three type impellers are numerically simulated by commercial CFD software Ansys Fluent 12.0. Numerical simulations of three-dimensional multiphase turbulence in gas injection and mechanical stirring are performed by adopting unsteady SM method coupled with Eulerian multiphase model and two-phase turbulence model. The information of gas-liquid fluid flow, velocity, turbulent kinetic energy and the power consumption are investigated and the results show that the SSB impeller can make bubbles get best dispersion and disintegration, and its power consumption is lower than VB impeller. The disk on the impeller blades can weaken the swirl flow in the upper zone of the impeller. Therefore, the bubble residence time is extended, and the bubble dispersing zone is also increased. This paper reviews the improvement of grounding impedance in grounding system by means of enhancement materials. Various enhancement materials for the past 20 years will be reviewed according to their advantages and disadvantages, followed by a focus on the technique for proper measurement set up based on the standard. In addition to that, the condition of enhancement materials under high voltage exposure is reviewed. Many researchers claim that soil resistivity, moisture content, and surrounding environment are the most contributed to the grounding system specifically on the grounding impedance. Hence, the utilization of enhancement materials is essential in order to maintain the grounding system performance.

The system would track the location for further improvement of an officer continuously in a multi-floor building of a particular area. In the midst of an urban fight situation an operation of lobbyist or putting out flames is really essential. The considerable number of fighters would be known about the area and development among themselves and to the military troop outside the building. This framework is valuable to lead the group appropriately in urban to protect the harmed individuals and it will demonstrate the change of overview.
