Wireless network broadly utilized today incorporate, cell system, remote cross section system (WMNs), remote neighbourhood and individual zone system. The expanding interest for these systems has transformed range into a valuable asset. Consequently, there is dependably a requirement for techniques to pack more bits/Hz. In this paper, we list the purposes behind this far reaching doubt, and talk about how present and future patterns will expand the need and reasonability of multiuser collectors for both the uplink, where numerous offbeat clients will be all the while identified, and the downlink, where clients will be planned and generally orthogonal zed, yet the portable handset will in any case need to adapt to a couple of predominant meddling base stations. New results for impedance wiping out beneficiaries that utilization traditional front finishes are appeared to ease a large number of the deficiencies of earlier systems, especially for the testing uplink. This paper gives a diagram of key late research leaps forward on obstruction cancelation, and highlights framework level contemplations for future multiuser recipients.

The purpose of this research is to assess the quality of experience (QoE) of 4G mobile technology that is used in the Indonesian market. The study analyzed the results obtained and discussed the lesson learned for stakeholders of the telecommunications industry. Primary data was obtained by conducting a market survey in May 2017, with a confidence level of 95%, representing the 4G subscribers in the Indonesia market. There are three main subjective aspects of QoE: service quality, data speed, and network quality (indicated by stability of signal). The analyses were conducted based on ACR-HR score, comparing users’ experiences of 4G with their previous 3G subscriptions. It was found that, in general, the Indonesian market perceived 4G as offering a better experience than 3G. However, one of the important lessons that can be learned is that network operators should provide a more stable signal, as the market gave a lower score for this aspect.

For some kinds of products, such as car, aircraft, government acquisition, the consumers have strict requirements to the reliability of these products. Then the manufacturer is inclined to provide the two-dimensional preventive maintenance policy to take the usage degree of the product into account. As a result, two-dimensional preventive maintenance policy in the warranty period has recently obtained increasing attention from manufacturers and consumers. In this paper, we focused on the optimization of based warranty cost and proposed a new expected cost model of the two-dimensional imperfect preventive maintenance policy from the perspective of the manufacture. The optimal two-dimensional preventive maintenance was obtained by minimizing based warranty cost. And asymmetric copula function was applied to modeling the failure function of the product. At last, numerical examples are given to illustrate the proposed models, of which the results prove the model effective and validate. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v13i2.7043

Big data is the latest industry buzzword to describe large volume of structured and unstructured data that can be difficult to process and analyze. Most of organization looking for the best approach to manage and analyze the large volume of data especially in making a decision. XML is chosen by many organization because of powerful approach during retrieval and storage processes. However, XML approach, the execution time for retrieving large volume of data are still considerably inefficient due to several factors. In this contribution, two databases approaches namely Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Java Object Notation (JSON) were investigated to evaluate their suitability for handling thousands records of publication data. The results showed JSON is the best choice for query retrieving speed and CPU usage. These are essential to cope with the characteristics of publication’s data. Whilst, XML and JSON technologies are relatively new to date in comparison to the relational database. Indeed, JSON technology demonstrates greater potential to become a key database technology for handling huge data due to increase of data annually.

The use of autonomous vehicle/robot has been adopted widely to replace human beings in performing dangerous missions in adverse environments. Keeping this in mind, path planning ensures that the autonomous vehicle must safely arrive to its destination with required criteria like lower computation time, shortest travelled path and completeness. There are few kinds of path planning strategies, such as combinatorial method, sampling based method and bio-inspired method. Among them, combinatorial method can accomplish couple of criteria without further adjustment in conventional algorithm. Configuration space provides detailed information about the position of all points in the system and it is the space for all configurations. Therefore, C-space denotes the actual free space zone for the movement of robot and guarantees that the vehicle or robot must not collide with the obstacle. This paper analyses different C-Space representation techniques under combinatorial method based on the past researches and their findings with different criteria such as optimality, completeness, safety, memory uses, real time and computational time etc. Visibility Graph has optimality which is a unique from other

Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) is a device that allows non-destructive measurements of r in situ reaction activities. In this article, an array comprising of six 3MHz QCM sensors in an array were characterized using a vector network analyzer and OpenQCM, a portable measuring instrument that measures change in resonance frequency. Measurements of S21 transmission characteristics using the vector network analyzer provides the resonance frequency and can also be used to derive the RLC equivalent electrical circuit values of a resonant two-port network based on the Butterworth-Van Dyke model. In this work, Rm, Lm, Cm and Co were obtained via curve-fitting of the measurement results to the simulated results. Measurements were done in triplicates to verify reproducibility for all 6 sensors. For comparison, measurements were also done using a portable, open-source instrument, OpenQCM. The OpenQCM instrument directly measures changes in resonance frequencies, making it ideal for biosensing experiments, which correlate changes in mass with changes in resonance frequencies. Comparison between resonance frequency measurements using VNA and OpenQCM exhibit low percentage difference 0.2%. This QCM sensor array has the potential of conducting real-time, point-of-care analyses for detection of biological molecules.

Intrinsic zinc oxide (ZnO)/Al-doped ZnO (AZO) homojunction film was prepared using two-step immersion processes. The film was characterized using field emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, and ultraviolet–visible spectrophotometer to investigate their structural and optical properties. The surface morphology image displays that the ZnO deposited on the nanorod surfaces in layer form with average diameter of nanorods about 95 nm. The structural properties of XRD pattern demonstrate that the film possessed good crystallinity with the preferred orientation at (002) plane. The film also possessed excellent absorption in the ultraviolet (UV) region with optical band gap energy of 3.22 eV. These results indicate that the film has a good potential for optical-based device such a UV sensor.

This paper investigates how to perform robust and efficient unsupervised video segmentation while suppressing the effects of data noises and/or corruptions. The low-rank representation is pursued for video segmentation. The supervoxels affinity matrix of an observed video sequence is given, low-rank matrix optimization seeks a optimal solution by making the matrix rank explicitly determined. We iteratively optimize them with closed-form solutions. Moreover, we incorporate a discriminative replication prior into our framework based on the obervation that small-size video patterns, and it tends to recur frequently within the same object. The video can be segmented into several spatio-temporal regions by applying the Normalized-Cut algorithm with the solved low-rank representation. To process the streaming videos, we apply our algorithm sequentially over a batch of frames over time, in which we also develop several temporal consistent constraints improving the robustness. Extensive experiments are on the public benchmarks, they demonstrate superior performance of our framework over other approaches.
