The use of teaching materials by teachers in educational units aims to make the learning process run well. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of teacher competencies in the use of teaching materials through academic supervision in SMK 1 Peureulak Timur even semester 2017/2018 Academic Year. This research was designed in the form of School Action Research which was planned to be carried out in two cycles, as 28 subjects were teachers at SMK 1 Peureulak Timur, where the researcher was the Head of the Peureulak Timur 1 Vocational High School. The results of the teacher's research that competency values ??in the use of teaching materials 91-100 or category A in the initial conditions did not exist, in the first cycle as many as 5 people or 17.86%, while in the second cycle increased to 9 teachers or 32.14%. In the initial conditions there were 3 teachers or 10.71% of the number of teachers having a value between 76-90% with the category Good (B), in the first cycle there were 12 teachers or 42.86% of the total teachers had a value between 76-90 % with the Good category (B), while in the second cycle it increased to 18 teachers or 64.29% of the total teachers. In the initial conditions there were 6 teachers or 21.43% with a value of 60-75 in the category of Enough (C), while in the first cycle there were 7 teachers or 25.00% of the total number of teachers with a value of 60-75 with Enough categories ( C), while in cycle II there is only 1 teacher with a value of 60-75 in the Enough (C) category. In the initial conditions there were 19 teachers or 67.86% of all teachers with the value of the Less category (D), while in the first cycle there were 4 teachers or 14.29% of the number of teachers with the value of category D and cycle II the number of teachers with grades The Less (D) category also no longer exists

Writing is part of the language skills used to communicate and is considered to be one of the easiest aspects so that errors in descriptive writing are often found. This happens because descriptive writing requires an object that can be described because it requires a learning media that can help these problems. As for the problem of this research is whether through the Picture and Picture model can improve learning outcomes English aspects of writing descriptive texts in class VIII SMPN 2 Peureulak Barat. The purpose of the study was to improve the learning outcomes of English in the aspect of writing descriptive texts through the Picture and Picture model in class VIII of Peureulak Barat Middle School 2. This study uses descriptive analysis techniques. The sample of the eighth grade students of Peureulak West Junior High School 2 research was 20 students. Data collection techniques in this study are Student Worksheets and observation sheets. learning outcomes in cycle 1 are still unsatisfactory from 20 students, who completed only 12 students (60%) while the average score was only 67 and in cycle II 18 of the 20 students had completed their learning outcomes (90%) with an average score Student test scores reach 82.25. The results of this study indicate the application of the Picture and Picture Model can improve the learning outcomes of English aspects of descriptive text writing in Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Peureulak Barat.

The pupuse of this research is to improve teacher competency in designing learning with a scientific approach though the implementation of in House Training (IHT) activities in SD Negeri 2 Balng Nisam Semester II in the 2017-2018 academic year. In addition, this study also aims to describe the teacher?s understanding of the scientific approach. This research aschool action research by taking as many as 7 research subjects. The research was carriedout in two cycles of cycles and each consisted of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The astablished performance indicators ate that if a minimum of 85% of teachers is classified as capable and good in designing learning with scientific approach, then it can be said that the actions implemented are successful.

Reading is one of the activities out in the learning process. Reading is also an ongoing communication skill. After the researchers used the implementation of the guiding reading approach (Guilded Reading Procedure) students? interest in reading had increased very well with an average value of 88.6. This research used action research as much as 2 cycles. Clycle I consisted of 6 stages: Plannging, observation, questionnaire, interview, reflection and revision. While the second cycle consists consisted of 6 stages: Plannging, observation, questionnaire, interview and reflection. The target of study is students of class III A MIN 3 Langsa City. The conclusion of study was learning to read trought the implementation of reading procedure guide can have a positive influence on learning outcomes and can increase student motivation in reading.

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of science students of class VI by applying the Solo Team Pair Type Cooperative Model (TPS). This type of research is the Hopkins model PTK. This research was carried out collaboratively with colleagues to create better learning outcomes. The study was conducted in 2 (two) cycles and each cycle was conducted 2 (two) meetings. The subjects in this study were class VI students totaling 26 people. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets and written tests. The data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The results showed that with the application of the Solo Team Pair Type Cooperative Model (TPS) in the first cycle the average value on the learning outcomes test was 69.04 with learning completeness in the classical amounting to (57.69%) In the second cycle the learning outcomes were increased the average value of students is 80.38 with classical learning completeness reaching (96.15%). Thus it was concluded that the application of the Solo Team Pair Type Cooperative Model (TPS) through the stages of stimulation, problem formulation, data collection, data analysis, verification, and generalization can improve the IPA material science learning outcomes for class VI

This research was conducted at Indra Makmu 2 Public Middle School for 3 months in the odd semester of the 2017/2018 school year which aims to improve student learning outcomes. The research subjects were all class VII students, amounting to 30 people, with 11 men and 19 women. In collecting data, researchers used instruments or data collection techniques in the form of granules of test questions totaling 10 items and observation sheets. After the data is collected the researcher conducts data processing and analysis by comparing the results of tests and observations from the initial conditions, the first and second cycles. The results showed an increase in completeness of students in the first cycle to 63% (19 students) from the initial condition which was only 17% (5 students), and at the end of cycle II completeness increased again to 87% (24 students).

Learning in SD Negeri Seuneubok Pidie, East Aceh Regency, especially class V on science subjects about material for breathing instruments in humans and animals, mastery of material is still very low or has not been successful. Of the 21 students, only 5 students (24%) achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) which was set at 6.5 with an average score of 57.4. To overcome the above problems, the steps that need to be implemented are using the Demonstration Method. In its application, the researcher tried on the science subject about the concept of "Respiratory Tools in Humans and Animals".The subjects in this study were 21 students consisting of 14 men and 7 women. To achieve the results in accordance with what the researcher expects, the researchers implement them with II (two) cycles. Each cycle is 2 (two) meetings for 3 (three) months. The results of the description analysis revealed, in the first (first) cycle the average score of students was 66.4 and learning completeness reached 62%, while in the second cycle (second) the average score of students was 78 and learning completeness reached 86%. The conclusion of this study is to use the Demonstration Method in science lessons about the material Respiratory Tools in Humans and Animals can improve the learning outcomes

In particular, this study aims to determine whether learning Islamic Education using Cooperative Learning TGT models can improve student learning outcomes and improve mastery of Islamic Religion subject matter in class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Darul Aman, Darul Aman District. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is carried out using two rounds of action research. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activity, observation and reflection. The target of this study is the class IX students of 1 Darul Aman Middle School, amounting to 40 people. Consisting of 33 male students and 7 female students. Data obtained in the form of test results and observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis it was found that student learning achievement experienced an increase from cycle I to cycle II, namely, cycle I 70.63 and cycle II 83.88. So from the results of these studies it can be concluded that through the use of cooperative learning the TGT model has a positive impact and has an advantage in improving the learning outcomes of Islamic Education Class IX Students at SMP Negeri 1 Darul Aman, Darul Aman District.

Learning in class IV on PJOK subject matter, Basic Engineering Material, Herding Ball in Soccer Games, mastery of the material is still very low. Of the 20 number of students only 7 students (35%) who achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) were set at 6.5 with an average value of 61.5. To overcome the above problems, the steps that need to be implemented are using the approach to field outside the school. In application, the researcher tried on the subject of PJOK about the concept of "Basic Technique of Dribbling Ball". The subjects in this study were 20 students consisting of 13 men and 7 women. To achieve the results in accordance with what the researcher expects, the researchers implement them with II cycles. Each cycle is 2 meetings for 3 months. In the first cycle the average score of students was 68.3 and learning completeness reached 70%, whereas in the second cycle the average score of students was 77 and learning completeness reached 85%. The conclusion of this study is to use the field approach outside the school in the PJOK lesson on material Natural Resources and their use for economic activities can improve learning skills

The purpose of this study is to improve mastery of subject matter that has been studied and accepted by students. This study uses action research developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggert that use a cycle of two rounds. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and refining. The target of this study were 28th grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bayeun. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities by processing qualitative values. From the results of the analysis it was found that student learning outcomes experienced an increase from the first cycle of the formative test scores of 72.86 students to 81.79 in the second cycle and students' learning completeness in the first cycle which was 67.86% to 92.86% in the second cycle. The conclusion of this study is that the use of cooperative models of the jigsaw type can positively influence learning motivation, collaboration and increase the value of learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Bayeun, and this learning model can be used as an alternative science or science learning.
