Abstract

This research purposes to determine potato farmers' perceptions in empowering in the Gemah Ripah II Farmer Group in Ngantru Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency. Perception is the process concerned about the entry of messages or information into the human brain, through human perceptions that are constantly in a relationship with their environment. This perception process occurs by looking at the analysis of the primary data obtained by taking data directly with potato farmers who are members of a group of 30 Gemah Ripah farmers. Each farmer respondent got 15 questions and was immediately answerable then the results of the answers were processed and analisys using the SPSS software, the data processing purposes to prove potato farmers' perceptions in empowering potato farmers in Gemah Ripah II Farmer Groups in Ngantru Village, Ngantang District, Malang Regency. Looking at the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the highest percentage of potato farmers' perceptions of the efforts of extension agents in empowering potato farmers is 48.67%. This shows that potato farmers' perceptions of the empowering farmers in the Gemah Ripah II Farmer Group are good.

Abstract

Daerah kantong ternak babi di Indonesia salah satunya adalah Provinsi Papua yang dikenal memiliki kearifan lokal dalam beternak babi. Papua sangat berpotensi untuk pengembangan ternak babi khususnya babi lokal karena keadaan sosial budaya masyarakat Papua yang mayoritas beragama non muslim, pasaran ternak babi di Papua cukup baik. Kabupaten Jayawijaya merupakan salah satu wilayah yang masyarakatnya melakukan ternak babi khususnya di Wamena sebagai ibu kota Jayawijaya, karean babi merupakan harta yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan budaya atau acara adat.  Pada pengembangan peternakan babi belum diketahui bagaimaa potensi dan faktor-faktor lingkungan eksternal dan lingkungan internal usaha peternakan babi di Hubikiak Kabupaten Jayawijaya dan Bagaimana  strategi pengembangan usaha peternakan babi di Distrik Hubikiak Kabupaten Jayawijaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi potensi dan faktor-faktor lingkungan eksternal dan lingkungan internal usaha peternakan babi di Hubikiak Kabupaten Jayawijaya dan Merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha peternakan babi di Distrik  Hubikiak Kabupaten Jayawijaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Distrik Hubikiak  Kabupaten Jayawijaya pada bulan Juli sampai pada bulan September 2017. Jumlah responden sebanyak 25 orang yang berasal dari pelaku peternakan babi di Distrik Hubikiak Kabupaten Jayawijaya. Data dikumpukan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data di analisis dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT.   Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, identifikasi faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi pengembangan usaha peternakan babi di Distrik Hubikiak Kabupaten Jayawijaya.  ditemukan 8 faktor yang terdiri dari faktor kekuatan internal budaya, pakan lokal, harga dan bibit unggul, faktor kelemahan internal terdiri dari faktor modal, manajemen usaha peternakan, tingkat SDM, erkandangan, faktor peluang eksternal terdiri dari faktor pasar, dukungan dari pemerintah, jenis babi lain/babi non lokal, pesta budaya, sedangkan  faktor ancaman eksternal terdidri dari faktor produk  daging babi dari luar, penigkatan biaya, pencurian, dan  penyakit. Strategi pengembangan usaha peternakan babi dapat menggunakan strategi SO ialah, memiliki budaya yang kuat dan berkaitan erat dengan ternak babi, tentunya peluang dalam pemanfaatan pasar yang cukup tersedia dengan harga babi yang mahal. Ketersediaan pakan lokal untuk mendukung usaha ternak babi, dan penggunaan bibit unggul, yang diharapakan adanya dukukungan dari pemerintah daerah lebih maksimal seperti peningkatan kapasitas SDM, bantuan pakan tambahan, bibit unggul dan penyuntikan ternak.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to 1) Knowing the income of farmer household of Pandan Wangi rice plant in one year period 2) Knowing the expenditure of farmer household of Pandan Wangi rice plant in one year period 3) to analyzing the welfare level of farmer household of Pandan Wangi rice plant. The research uses descriptive qualitative design. The research technique that used is census reasearch technique by interviewing 21 Pandan Wangi Farmers. The result shows that the average income of farmer household of Pandan Wangi rice plant is Rp 41.783.000 per year, and the average per capita income is Rp 10.824.611,4. While the average of expenditure of farmer household of Pandan Wangi rice plant is Rp 30.146.190 per year, with the average of expenditure per capita is Rp 9.362.516. The results of the welfare analysis with 11 indicators levels of welfare 2003 from BPS produces 3 criterias for welfare level of farmer household of Pandan Wangi rice plant, that is high, medium, and low. The welfare level is determined by calculating 11 indicators that have been given different weight. The average of farmer household welfare’s score is 314.76 poins. The result of this analysis is all of the Pandan Wangi farmers have a high level of household welfare.

Abstract

This research aims to knowing to belong to a group which worker is permanent income PT. Kurnia Anggun starting from year 2010 – 2018? Population used are all workers on PT. Kurnia Anggun, while the sample is all workers is permanent in the period 2010 – 2018. Research method used in this study the survey is descriptive in using the poverty line guidelines as much as 2 US $ per day, then this research was obtained information for average income of workers remains in PT. Kurnia Anggun as follows is 1) The income of workers is far above poverty line. 2)starting at the end of the year 2016, income already above US $ 3000. 3) At the end of the year 2010 – 2015 enter the group middle income is relatively low , while at the end of the year 2016 – 2018 enter the group relatively high middle income. 4) If the beginning of the year 2018. Indonesia has business people like that in PT. Kurnia Anggun then poverty in Indonesia will disappear. What the company needs to pay attention to is always increase productivity human resources, make product innovation, increasing competitiveness and increasing added value the height of the year to yearso that the company profits not affected by increase in employee minimum wages.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to compile a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for doughnut production process at Donken Mojokerto. The benefit of this research is to help Donken Mojokerto in improving their production process with the compiled SOP, so that it can be considered to be a guidance to perform the production process. The steps of the research process are: Problems identification, collecting data through observation, interview, literary studies, and questionnaire. Then compiling the SOP document, revising SOP document to the employees and validation to the employer. Standard Operating Procedure of doughnut production process consists of seven steps, those steps are: Providing material, each material’s weight and its composition should be match with the formula or the recipe that has been determined. Dough making, the first dough mixing process were consist of wheat flour, sugar, egg, yeast, water, baking powder, and calcium. Then those materials were mixed using an electric mixer for about twenty minutes. Next, add butter and salt then remixed for about five minutes until it becomes dense. Dough isolation process, leave the dough for about 25 minutes until it puffed up. Molding process, the dough were divided into four to make the molding process easier, then thin it down using a rolling pin and reversible sheeter until 0.5 cm of thickness, and then shaped using a manual mold. Frying process, the already shaped dough were leaved for 30 minutes and then fried in a 1820-1900C  oil on a frying pan for two minutes. Draining process, the well-fried doughnuts were drained on a rack for ten minutes. Topping process, the chocolate flakes, melt chocolate, butternut, cream, or cheese topping were added to the upside of the doughnut.

Abstract

The objective of the present study is to analyze the influence of Government Expenditure on Education and Health, Unemployment Rate, Literacy Rate, to GDP Growth of Indonesian Population. This type of research is quantitative, using ordinary least square method (OLS). The data used are secondary data. Data type is yearly time series data between 2001-2017 period. The results of the study indicate that (1) Government Expenditures for Education and Health have positive and significant impact on the GDP growth of Indonesian Population (2) Unemployment rate has a negative and significant effect on the GDP growth of Indonesian Population (3) Literacy rate positively and significantly to GDP Growth Population Indonesia

Abstract

A study of agribusiness model of breeding of rice paddy seeds throught community development program (KKN)- community empowerment learning (PPM) of Lakidende Univercity aimed to increase institutional capacity of farmers in producing rice seed products with the use of high quality rice varieties. So far, the access to high quality rice seedlings in the farmer group business unit of rice seed breeders is still low and limited procurement in every rice planting season. Mean while, the need of rice seed in Konawe Recency averagely 415.000 tons of planting season with the fulfillment of seed supply from breeder farmer group only about 87.830 tons of planting season (21,16 %). In the study method with KKN-PPM spproach, the students and society conducted a study of the implementation of agribusiness field schools (SL-A) in farmer group of rice seed breeders in Ambuulanu village, Pondidaha sub-district, Konawe Regency. The study was implemented for 33 working days (July- Agusts 2016). The result of study of farmer institutional strengthening on the farmer group of paddy rice breeder farming unit showed that the institutional strengthening system of farmer group of paddy rice breeder in rural communities with the application of model field school agribusiness in the implementation of KKN-PPM program, is potentially able to meet the supply of high quality seeds with the average production as mush as 456.5 tons of rice seed ready to spread in each wet season rice fiel, and effective in the learning model of rural community empowerment with Univercity in Konawe district area.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the behavior and consumer satisfaction of consumers of basic food products at the Juan minimarket in Benai District. The method used in this study is the Likert scale and analysis method (IPA) and (CSI) or Consumer Satisfaction Index. The results obtained from consumer behavior towards rice are in the satisfied category, with a total of 16 people from 30 respondents with a percentage of 53.33%, sugar and cooking oil in the category of Very Satisfied with 23 souls from 30 respondents with a percentage of 76.67% %, eggs are in the satisfied category with 25 souls from 30 respondents with a percentage of 83.43%, milk is in the very satisfied category with a total of 17 souls from 30 respondents with a percentage of 56.67%. And the results of the calculation of rice as a whole the value of the index of consumer satisfaction is 69.50%. Where this value is in the consumer satisfaction index range of 50% -75%. Sugar consumer satisfaction index value of 59.57% CSI results are in satisfied criteria, cooking oil consumer satisfaction index value is 72.00% and CSI results are on very satisfied criteria, egg consumer satisfaction index value is 76.00% based on CSI results are in the criteria of satisfaction and milk the consumer satisfaction index value is 70.00%.

Abstract

Tanaman stroberi merupakan salah satu sumber pendapatan dalam sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Jayawijaya, Provinsi Papua khususnya di Distrik Walesi. Budidaya yang dilakukan oleh petani saat ini masih bersifat konvensional dan masih dalam skala kecil dan masih perlu pengembangan. Adapun permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah belum diketahui bagaimana potensi dan faktor-faktor lingkungan eksternal dan lingkungan internal serta bagaimana pengembangan strategi budidaya stroberi di Distrik Walesi Kabupaten Jayawijaya. Tujuan dari penetian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi potensi dan faktor-faktor lingkungan eksternal dan lingkungan internal usahatani budidaya stroberi di Distrik Walesi Kabupaten Jayawijaya serta merumuskan pengembangan strategi budidaya stroberi di Distrik Walesi Kabupaten Jayawijaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, kualitatif dan analisis SWOT.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1. Faktor-faktor internal sebagai berikut berikut: a. Kekuatan: Iklim yang mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman stroberi, produk unggulan daerah, dan konsumen. b. Kelemahan: modal petani yang terbatas, manajemen usaha yang belum memadai, dan peningkatan sdm yang belum dicapai. c. Peluang :  pasar yang masih terbuka, dukungan dari pemerintah terhadap pengembangan budidaya stroberi, dan motif ekonomi pasar yang kuat dengan adanya investor. d. Ancaman: masuknya produk stroberi dari daerah lain, adanya peningkatan biaya, dan belum ada industri yang mau menjadi mitra. 2. Alternatif strategi yang dapat diterapkan:  a. Meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi stroberi agar mampu memenuhi permintaan konsumen. b. Memaksimalkan SDM untuk melakukan perbaikan dalam strategi pemasaran serta mempertahankan kualitas stroberi. c. Meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi stroberi agar mampu memenuhi permintaan konsumen dengan menerapkan konsep agrowisata stroberi. 3. Prioritas strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam upaya pengembangan agribisnis stroberi di Distrik Walesi adalah meningkatkan pendidikan dan pengajaran serta permodalan melalui kelembagaan dengan menyentuh seluruh petani untuk meningkatkan kuantitas serta kualitas stroberi untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar.

Abstract

The development of the business world today is increasingly diverse and competitive, the pace of development is very difficult to predict, so having the right strategy is the key for a company to continue to compete and survive. Along with technological advancements and the development of communication suggestions, the company is utilizing these technological advances as a marketing strategy tool to promote its products. Given the growth of buying and selling transactions in the network or online in Indonesia at this time is very rapid, with this being used by companies to market and promote via the internet. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of technological progress on retail sales volumes. The development of information technology that is growing very rapidly now influences the community in supporting various business activities both large and small so that it can be known globally. The most obvious impact is that besides being known, it can also increase sales volume. Digital Marketing is one of the very large marketing media that has an influence. Using digital marketing in this case is social media and E-commerce. The most widely used social media is Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The subjects in this study were retail owners, managers, and employees who were selected by purpose sampling.
