Abstract

Pendahuluan: Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tiga jenis limbah sawit terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kakao pada pembibitan, pemberian pupuk NPK dengan dosis yang berbeda bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis yang tepat pada tanaman kakao lalu melihat interaksi kedua perlakuan pada fase pembibitan tanaman kakao. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Tunggurono Binjai Timur Sumatera Utara pada bulan Desember 2021 sampai Maret 2022. Rancangan penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan faktor pertama Limbah Kelapa Sawit L0 ( Subsoil ), L1 ( Subsoil + DDS ), L2 ( Subsoil + TKKS), L3 ( Subsoil + FIBER ). Faktor kedua pemberian pupuk NPK N0 ( Tanpa pupuk ), N1 ( 4 g/tanaman ), N2 ( 6 g/tanaman ), N3 ( 8 g/tanaman ). Hasil Penelitian: Pada penelitian dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan limbah sawit berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 12 MST, jumlah daun umur 8 MST, luas daun umur 6, 8 MST, dan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada jumlah daun umur 6, 10,12 MST, luas daun umur 4 MST, diameter batang umur 12 MST, bobot segar tanaman umur 12 MST, dan bobot segar akar umur 12 MST. pemberian pupuk NPK berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman umur 12 MST, jumlah daun umur 4 MST. Dan interaksinya berpengaruh nyata pada panjang akar umur 12 MST.

Abstract

Produktivitas tanaman karet di Sumatera Selatan berkisar 1,17 ton/ha/tahun. produksi tersebut berbanding jauh dibanding negara Thailand yang mencapai 1,9 ton/ha/tahun. faktor yang mebuat produksi tersebut rendah yaitu genetik, kesuburan tanah, pemupukan, hama dan penyakit tanaman. Penyakit kering alur sadap merupakan penyakit tanaman karet yang sering mengganggu produktivitas tanaman karet. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanaman karet masyarakat berumur ± 15 tahun. Survei ini dilakukan di Desa Pulau Harapan Kecamatan Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan pada bulan November 2022-Januari 2023. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Jarak tanamantanaman karet yang disurvey adalah 5 x 4 (m). Survei dilakukan dengan intensitas sampling sebesar 5% dari total luas tanaman karet ± 14 ha yang berarti total populasi ± 7500 batang tanaman karet dan sampel yang diambil 350 batang tanaman karetHasil Penelitian: Hasil survey penyakit kering alur sadap (Tapping driness panel) pada tanaman karet yang berumur ± 15 tahun (tahun tanam 2007), menunjukan persentase serangan penyakit KAS sebesar 32,52%. Sedangkan produksi lateks pada tanaman karet pada umur 15 tahun dengan klon PB 260 dan BPM 24 menunjukan angka berkisar di 1.044 ton/ha/tahun

Abstract

Penggunaan pupuk organik pada pembibitan kelapa sawit mampu meminimalisir penggunaan pupuk anorganik. Kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit (TKKS)+ kompos pelepah kelapa sawit (PKS)+air cucian beras (ACB) diuji untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap ketersediaan unsur hara di dalam media tanam dan di daun bibit tanaman kelapa sawit. Percobaan dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Ciparanje, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor, bulan Februari - Agustus 2020. Analisis hara dilakukan di Laboratorium Kesuburan Tanah dan Nutrisi Tanaman Departemen Ilmu Tanah dan Sumberdaya Lahan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Padjadjaran. Percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 12 kombinasi perlakuan dan diulang tiga kali. Perlakuan terdiri 57.5 g pupuk anorganik, kompos TKKS (75 g, 100 g), kompos PKS (800 g, 1600 g), ACB (250 mL dan 500 mL). Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa campuran antara kompos TKKS, PKS dan ACB cenderung dapat menstabilkan pH, N, P dan K pada media tanam dan daun bibit kelapa sawit. Campuran kompos TKKS 100 g + kompos PKS 1600 g + ACB 250 mL dapat mempertahankan status hara N dan K pada media tanam dan kadar P pada daun bibit kelapa sawit. Campuran kompos ini dapat dijadikan pupuk alternatif selain pupuk anorganik di pembibitan kelapa sawit untuk mendukung perkebunan kelapa sawit secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of giving oil palm Tankos (empty fruit bunches) and mycorrhiza to the planting medium on the growth and production of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L,). The research was conducted in Medan Sunggal District, Medan City and was carried out from March 2022 to May 2022. The research method used was Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors. The first factor was Tankos T0 (Control), T1 (100 gr/polybag), T2 (200 gr/polybag), T3 (300 gr/polybag). The second factor was Mycorrhiza M0 (Control), M1 (5 gr/polybag), M2 (10 gr/polybag). The results showed that the application of Tankos and Mycorrhizae showed a very significant effect on the parameters of Plant Height, Number of Leaves, Leaf Area, Dry Weight and Wet Weight of Lettuce Plants. The treatment Tankos T3 (dose =300 g/polybag) and Mycorrhiza M2 (dose =10 g/polybag) showed the highest results in all parameters. The interaction of the two treatments showed no significant effect, but it can be seen that the T3M2 treatment combination (tankos dose = 300 gr/polybag and mycorrhiza dose = 10 gr/polybag) was the best treatment in this study. It is suspected that the tankos is able to provide nutrients for the lettuce plants, while mycorrhiza helps the roots absorb the available nutrients for the lettuce plants.

Abstract

Introduction: Tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) are vegetable in vitamins A, B, C. In the cultivation of tomato plants, it is necessary to maximize the growth and production of tomato plants, the application of NPK which can add nutrients to plants. Then, cocoa husk compost which provides nutrients, improves soil structure. Methods: This research was carried out in November 2022 - February 2023 at Jln. Yos Sudarso Dusun III Kec. Binjai, Kab. Langkat. North Sumatra. The study used a 2-factor factorial randomized block design (RAKF), the first factor was NPK 16-16-16, N0 (10 g/plant), N1 (20 g/plant), N2 (20 g/plant), N3 (30 g/plant). the second factor was the modification of the planting medium for cocoa shell compost, M0 (Top soil), M1 (Top soil + Cocoa Hull Compost 1:½), M2 (Top soil + Cocoa Hull Compost 1:1), M3 (Top soil + Cocoa Hull Compost 1:1½). Parameters observed were plant height, soil water content, fruit weight planted, and total harvest weight. Results: The results showed that the npk 16-16-16 treatment had a significant effect on plant height growth, fruit planting weight, total harvest weight, the best treatment was N3. modification of the planting medium of cocoa shell compost had a significant effect on fruit weight per plant, soil water content, total harvest weight, the best treatment was M3. The interaction of NPK 16-16-16 and modification of the planting medium of cocoa shell compost had no significant effect on all parameters, the best treatment was N2M1. Abstract

· Introduction: Red Ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc) is a spice plant that is used as a drink and a mixture of food ingredients. The spicy taste of ginger when drunk gives a sensation as a reliever. Ginger rhizome is also efficacious as a medicine for several diseases such as: arthritis, rheumatism, sprains, muscle aches, coughs, sinusitis, sore throat, diarrhea, colic, cramps, indigestion, loss of appetite, motion sickness, fever, flu, elimination, and infectious diseases. Materials and Methods: This research was carried out in Selayang Village, Finish District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, from September 2022 to completion in February 2023. Results: The results showed that the M1 treatment had significant results from almost all observation parameters, namely plant height, number of leaves and fresh weight of rhizomes had a significant effect, except for the parameter of the number of tillers. showed that the highest vegetative growth of red ginger was in treatment M1 (top soil and cow manure) resulting in the highest plant height compared to other treatments. Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the growth and production of okra plants on the application od KCl and planting media mixed with cocoa husk compost. Materials and Methods: This 'research' was carried out in October 2022-February 2023 on Jln Yos Sudarso hamlet 3, Suka Makmur village, Binjai district. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the planting medium mixed with cocoa shell compost with the symbol (T) which consists of 3 treatment levels, namely: T0= Top soil, T1= Top soil + Cocoa husk compost (1: ½), T2= Top soil+Cocoa husk compost (1:1). The second factor was giving KCl fertilizer with the symbol (K) which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely: K0= 0 gram/plant, K1= 5 gram/plant, K2= 10 gram/plant, K3= 15 gram/plant. Results: The results showed that the treatment of cocoa shell compost had a significant effect on stem diameter at 4 MST and flowering age, and had a very significant effect on plant height at 6 MST, 8 MST and 10 MST, number of leaves at 4 MST, 6 MST, 8 MST and 10 MST. MST, stem diameter at 6 MST, 8 MST and 10 MST, number of fruit planted, fruit weight planted, number of fruit per plot and fruit weight per plot. The application of KCl fertilizer had no significant effect on all parameters. Interaction of the two had a significant effect on the number of leaves aged 4 WAP.

Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the response of tomato plants (Solanum licopersicum) to the administrationof liquid organic fertilizer cow urine and phosphorus fertilizers on andisol soil. Materials and Methods: This 'research' was carried out in October 2022 – January 2023 in Selayang village, Finish district, with an altitude of 28 meters above sea level. This study used a factorial randomized block design with 2 treatment factors. The firstfactor is cow urine liquid organic fertilizer with Symbol (A) which consists of 2 treatment levels, namely: A0 = (0 ml), A1 = ( 60 ml). The second factor was the application of phosphorus fertilizer symbol (P) which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely: P0 (without fertilizer), P1 (125kg P/Ha ≈ ­­­­­­­­­­1,7gSP-36/polybag), P2 (250kg P/Ha ≈ 3,5 gSP-36/ polybag) dan P3 (375kg P/Ha ≈ 5,2 gSP-36/polybag). Results: The results showed that the treatment of cow urine liquid organic fertilizer (POC) had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height aged 56 HST, yield and production of tomato plants with the best treatment found in A1 (60 ml). The aplication of phosphorus fertilizer had a significant effect on soil pH and available-P with the best treatment P1 (125kg P/Ha ≈ 1,7 g SP-36/polybag). The interaction of cow urine liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and phosphorus fertilizer had a very significant effect on the yield and production of tomato plants with the best combination treatment A1P1 (60 ml) (125kg P/Ha ≈ 1,7 g SP-36/polybag). Abstract

Materials and Methods: This research will be carried out in Selayang Village, Prestasi District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, from January to April 2023. This research used Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) and Chicken Manure with different doses. The design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of Liquid Organic Fertilizer Factors (POC) E0 = Without applying liquid organic fertilizer, E1 = 40ml/liter of water(4%), E2 =50ml/liter of water(5%) and Chicken Manure B0 = Without Chicken Manure, B1 = 100grams of Chicken Cage, B2 =200gram of Chicken Cage. The parameters observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (mm), and leaf area (cm2). Results: The application of liquid organic fertilizer in oil palm nurseries had a significant effect on the number of leaves at 4 MST, 5 MST and stem diameter at 4 MST. The best treatment was at E1 =40ml/liter of water (4%). The application of chicken manure to oil palm nurseries did not significantly affect all parameters. The best treatment was found in treatment (B2 = 200grams of chicken coop. The interaction of liquid organic fertilizer D. grow and chicken manure had a significant effect on the number of leaves aged 4 WAP. The best treatment combination was found in treatment E2B1 (50 ml/liter of water (5%) (100 grams of chicken coop).

Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intercropping system of kcl fertilizer on the growth and production of sweet corn plants. Research Method: This research was conducted in Pasar VIII Namo Terasi Village, Sei Bingai District, from October 2022 - January 2023. The study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors. The first factor KCl consisted of treatment levels, namely K0 = 0 g/plant, K1 = 10 g/plant, K2 = 15 g/plant. The second factor was intercropping with three treatment levels of peanut spacing, namely T1 = 20 x 15 cm, T2 = 20 x 20 cm, T3 = 20 x 25 cm. Parameters observed were Plant Height (cm), Plant Cob Weight (gr). Cob Weight Per Plot (kg), and Number of Fruits Per Plot (fruit). Results: The results showed that the kcl treatment had no significant effect on all parameters. The best treatment for kcl was K1 (10 grams), the best treatment for the intercropping system was T2 (20x20), and the best treatment for the interaction between the two treatments was K1T2.
