Abstract

Pendahuluan: Ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas L.) termasuk ke dalam kelompok umbi-umbian yang mempunyai potensi cukup penting sebagai sumber bahan pangan substitusi. Pemberian KCL dapat meningkatkan produksi dan ketahanan tanaman terhadap penyakit, dijelaskan juga bahwa peranan utama kalium dalam tanaman adalah sebagai aktivator berbagai enzim. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk KCl terhadap produksi ubi jalar. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi bahan stek dan pupuk KCl terhadap produksi ubi jalar. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil ubi jalar pada berbagai sumber stek dan pemberian pupuk kalium yang dilaksanakan di Tunggorono, Binjai mulai bulan November 2021 sampai dengan Februari 2022 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah berbagai sumber stek yaitu S1 = Stek pucuk, S2 = Stek batang, sedangkan faktor kedua adalah pupuk kalium dengan dosis K0 = Tanpa pupuk, K1 = 50kg/Ha,dan K2 = 100kg/ Ha. Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk kalium memperlihatkan bahwa perlakuan KCl berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap berat umbi per sampel, dimana perlakuan tertinggi K2 (100kg/ha) 371,73g di ikuti dengan perlakuan K1(50kg/ha) 366,75 dan kdi ikuti dengan perlakuan K0 (tanpa pupuk) 356,75g. Tetapi perlakuan KCl berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat umbi per plot dimana perlakuan tertinggi di peroleh K0 (tanpa pupuk) 2709,17g tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan K1 (50kg/ha) 2656,81g dan berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan K2 (100kg/ha) 2569,58g dan perlakuan Stek berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat umbi per plot dimana perlakuan tertinggi S1 (Stek pucuk) 2693,22g dan tidak berbeda nyata terhadap perlakuan S2 (Stek Batang) 2597,15g.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pupuk Kandang Ayam dan KCL terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi Jagung (Zea mays L). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari – Maret 2022 di Desa Marindal II Kecamatan Patumbak Kabupaten Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu faktor pertama adalah pupuk kandang ayam (K) 3 taraf yaitu K0 = 0 kg/plot (kontrol), K1 = 1 kg/plot, K2 = 2 kg/plot dan faktor ke dua pupuk KCL dengan 3 taraf yaitu C0 = 0 kg/plot (kontrol), C1 = 50 kg/plot, C2 = 75 kg/plot. Parameter yang diukur tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun (helai), diameter batang (mm) dan jumlah tongkol persampel (buah). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh pupuk kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tongkol persampel (buah) dan diameter batang umur 6 mst (mm).

Abstract

Mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) is one of the legume commodity crops which is allocated more in the household and industrial consumption sector as a raw material for food and beverages. However, its current production is still unable to meet national demand. Therefore, this study aims to increase mung bean production by using chicken manure and plant growth regulator (PGR) as well as an alternative in nourishing soil nutrients because they do not contain chemical compounds. The research method used a randomized block design factorial with two treatments. The first treatment of chicken manure application, consisting of A0 (0 g/plot) as control; A1 (2000 g/plot); A2 (4000g/plot); and A3 (4000 g/plot). The second treatment of PGR applications, consists of Z0 (0 cc/plant) as control; Z1 (0.5 cc/plant); Z2 (1.0 cc/plant); and Z3 (1.5 cc/plant). The material mung bean seeds of the Vima 1 variety. The parameters observed were the number of pods per sample and the number of pods per plot. To determine the effect of the treatment of the parameters observed a statistical test was carried out with the analysis of variances (ANOVA), if it had a significant effect then it was continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% level. The results showed that the application of chicken manure and PGR had a very significant effect on the observed parameters. The best treatment is the use of chicken manure A2 (4000 g/plot) and PGR Z3 (1.5 cc/plant) as an alternative to increasing mung bean production.

Abstract

Tomato is one of the favorite fruits consumed by the Indonesian people either consumed directly, as a salad or juiced and an additional ingredient in cooking ingredients. One type of tomato that is often consumed by the public is cherry tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes ( Solanum Lycopersicum var.. Cerasiforme) For this reason it is very important in improving production and high quality. This study used Organic ZPT and Different Seedling Ages. The design used by the Randomized Group Design (RAK) consisted of Seed Age Factors U1(15 days), U2(20 days) and U3 (25 days) and Dose Factors ZPTZ0 (without ZPT), Z1 (ZPT 50%), Z2 (ZPT 75%) and U3 (100%). The results of the Seed Age Research had a very noticeable effect on the Number of Branches at the age of 40 HST. Meanwhile, the results of ZPT have a very noticeable effect on Plant Height of 20 HST and Number of Branches of 40 HST. Meanwhile, the results of ZPT have a very noticeable effect on Plant Height of 20 HST and Number of Branches of 40 HST. And the interaction of the two had a noticeable effect on the number of branches ,the weight of the best crop fruit obtained at the U2Z1 treatment (20 days + 50% ZPT) which was 167.53 g.

Abstract

The growth and production of kailan is carried out through the use of palm oil waste as a planting medium, the types of waste used are Empty Bunches of Palm Oil (EFB), Dried Decanter Solid (DDS) and Fiber. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of three types of palm oil waste on the growth and production of kailan, the treatment of differences in harvest age aimed to see the right harvest on kailan plants and then see the interaction of the two treatments in the kailan production phase.This research was conducted in Tunggurono Binjai Timur District, North Sumatra from October 2021 to January 2022. Randomized Group Design (RAK) Factorial with palm waste treatment and harvest age, First factor palm waste M0 = (Top soil), M1 (Top soil + EFB), M2 (Top soil + DDS) and M3 (Top soil + Fiber). The second factor of harvest life is P1 (30 HST), P2 (35 HST) and P3 (40 HST). fresh weight per plant (g), fresh weight per plot (g), root volume (cm3) and dry weight per plant (g). In the Study Randomized Design Group (RAK) Factorial showed that the treatment of palm waste and harvest age had a significant effect on fresh weight per plant, fresh weight per plot, root volume and dry weight per plant. And the interaction of the two had a marked effect on the dry weight per plant, the dry weight per plant was best obtained at the treatment (M2P1) 3.03 g.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to determine the effect of different planting media and phosphoric fertilizer application on the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elais guineensis, Jacg) in early nurseries. The short-term goal of this research is to know that phosphate fertilizer can affect the growth of oil palm seedlings. Materials and Methods: This research was carried out in Prestasi District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra from January to April 2022. The method used in this study was a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). It consists of two factors, namely: The first factor which consists of two treatments namely, M1: Top Soil, and Manure (1: 1), M2: Top Soil, and Sand (1: 1). The Second Factor consists of 3 factors namely, F = 0 CONTROL (without treatment), F1 = 3 grams/liter of water, F2 = 5 grams/liter of water. Variables observed were Plant Height, Stem Diameter, Number of Leaves, Leaf Area. Results The treatment of phosphate fertilizer application had no significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, and leaf area. The interaction of growing media and application of phosphate fertilizer had no significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, and leaf area. In general, the M1F1 interaction treatment (Top Soil: Manure and 3 grams of Phosphate) produced the highest values ​​for plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area.

Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying manure and ZA fertilizer as well as the interaction of manure and ZA fertilizer treatment on the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L).Materials and Methods: : This research was conducted in Tunggurono Binjai Timur District, North Sumatra from October 2021 to January 2022. The research design is a Randomized Group Design (RAK) with two factors. The first factor with 4 levels: P0 = No Manure, P1 = Cow manure 272.25 gr, P2 = goat manure 272.25 gr and P 3 = Chicken manure 272.25 gr and the second factor with 4 levels: Z0 = No ZA Fertilizer, Z1 = 2.90 gr/polybag, Z2 = 5.8 gr/polybag and Z3= 11.6 gr/polybag. Results: The results showed that the application of manure had a noticeable influence on several parameters at the age of 30 HST. Meanwhile, the ZA fertilizer treatment has an unreal effect on several other parameters and observations. And the interaction of the two has an unreal effect, the best interaction is obtained on the treatment ( P2Z1). Keywords : Organic manure, ZA fertilizer, shallots

Abstract

• Pendahuluan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui respon pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit Pre Nursery terhadap aplikasi pupuk N, pupukkandang dan terhadap aplikasi antara pupuk N dan pupuk kandang •Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini laksanakan di Kecamatan Selesai Kab.Langkat, Sumatra Utara pada bulan Maret 2022 sampai Juli 2022 .Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial. Terdiri dari dua faktor,yaitu: Faktor Pertama yang terdiri dari dua perlakuan yaitu, M1: Tanah Top soil,dan Pupuk Kandang(1:1), M2: Tanah Top Soil,dan Pasir(1:1).Faktor Kedua terdiri dari 3 faktor yaitu, F=0 KONTROL(Tanpa Perlakuan), F1= 1 gram/liter Air, F2= 1.5 gram/liter Air. Peubah yang diamati, Tinggi Tanaman, Diameter batang, Jumlah Daun, Luas Daun. • Hasil Penelitian:Perlakuan media tanam berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, dan luas daun. Perlakuan pemberian pupuk nitrogen berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, dan luas daun. Interaksi media tanam dan pemberian pupuk nitrogen berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, dan luas daun. Secara umum, perlakuan interaksi M2N1 (Top Soil:Pasir dan 1,5 gram) menghasilkan nilai diameter batang, jumlah daun, dan luas daun paling besar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri Staphylococcus hominis dari formulasi dan sediaan sabun mandi cair yang berbahan aktif larutan fermentasi kombucha bunga telang pada konsentrasi 20%,30%, dan 40%.Penelitian’ ini ‘dilaksanakan pada bulan September-Desember-2022. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah dilaboratorium service Universitas Pakuan, Bogor, Provinsi Jawa, Barat, Indonesia. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental laboratorium dengan membuat 3 formulasi dan sediaan sabun mandi yang meliputi basis sabun mandi sebagai kontrol negatif, basis sabun mandi yang berbahan aktif larutan fermentasi kombucha bunga telang pada konsentrasi 20%, 30%, dan 40%, serta menyediakan sabun cuci tangan yang tersedia dipasaran sebagai kontrol positif. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan ANOVA satu jalur dan jika terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan dilanjut melalui analisis pos hoc.Hasil penelitian telah membuktikan bahwa sediaan sabun mandi yang berbahan aktif larutan fermentasi kombucha bunga telang berkolerasi secara positif dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus hominis pada konsentrasi 20%,30%, dan 40%. Hasil uji ANOVA satu jalur pada masing-masing nilai P>0,05 yang dapat dilanjutkan melalui analisis pos hoc menyatakan bahwa sediaan sabun mandi cair kombucha bunga telang pada konsentrasi 40% berbeda nyata dengan konsentrasi 20% dan 30% dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus hominis serta konsentrasi yang terbaik dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambat yang dihasilkan sebesar 14,2 mm dan masuk dalam kategori kuat.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to determine the effect of mesocarp storage period on the quality of free fatty acids in refined palm oil. Research Method: This study was carried out in December 2019-February 2020 at the Aek Loba Asahan Gardens, North Sumatra. The data collection used in this study is Exploration Research Method and the samples selected were genetic material from crosses that produced 15 oil palm families thought to be capable of producing low free fatty acid palm oil. Research Results: There are 15 families of oil palm that show changes in free fatty acid levels with different patterns. Three families of oil palm FL 1181, FL043 and FL133 have a long shelf life with free fatty acid levels which tend to be low for 16 days after harvest.
