Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress, workload and job satisfaction on employee turnover intention at PT Cemerlang Lestari in Balikpapa, either partially or simultaneously. The sample of this research is 75 employees of PT Cemerlang Lestari in Balikpapan who are still actively working selected using random sampling technique. The method used is quantitative method, data collection is carried out using primary data through direct questionnaires to respondents. Data were analyzed by validity and reliability tests, as well as multiple linear regression analysis t test, f test, using the SPSS 24.0 program. The results showed that work stress (X1) had a positive and significant effect on employee turnover intention (Y), workload (X2) had a positive and significant effect on employee turnover intention (Y) and job satisfaction (X3) had no negative effect on employee turnover intention. (Y). The results of this study also support previous research from Bina Hardi, et al. (2018) which states that work stress (X1) and workload have a positive effect on turnover intention (Y), and rejects the results of research by Aharon Tziner et al. (2015) which states that work stress (X1) and job satisfaction (X3) have a negative or no effect on turnover intention.

Abstract

The less percentage of women at the parliament will affects the DPR RI policies regarding women and their duties and functions as people's representatives. This research has purposes to investigated and compose a new method strategy that is useful to appliance efforts in order to achieve gender justice (Sexes) and gender equality at DPR RI. This research was conceived with a qualitative method based on positivism paradigm from 9 informants according to proposed criteria by snowball sampling technique. The data collection techniques used were literature study, interviews and observations which were analyzed using descriptive analysis and developed through the analysis of the observer's training. The research findings according to the Grindle public policy implementation model disclose that these gender mainstreaming policies enforcement at chores and roles from DPR RI is an adequate to aid the completion of gender parity and fairness in the life of society, nation and state, precisely to boost the women's function, status and capacity in the eyes of society both all aspects and levels. These enforcement of the gender-based policies in national development needs to be highlighted and expanded via official legality strategies, structural synergy strategies, cultural adaptation strategies and individual strengthening strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of social media marketing, word of mouth, and the effectiveness of advertising on brand awareness and purchase intention of Grab application users and to find out the partial relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents consisting of Grab application users domiciled in Tangerang who were selected using the convenience sampling technique. The data in this study were obtained using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Based on the results of data analysis show that social media marketing and word of mouth. Do not have a positive effect on brand awareness, the effectiveness of advertising has a positive effect on brand awareness. In addition, social media marketing. Has a positive influence on purchase intention, while word of mouth does not have a positive influence on purchase intention. Effectiveness of advertising has a positive influence on purchase intention. Likewise, brand awareness has a positive influence on purchase intention..

Abstract

Technology has changed people's behavior a lot, one of which is economic behavior that was previously traditional and conventional to be more sophisticated by being integrated into a digital system. Economic activities such as buying and selling will never be separated from human activities. The exchange process will continue in any atmosphere and condition, such as the current condition, namely the pandemic condition due to Covid-19. Physical restrictions due to the pandemic have caused buying and selling transactions to be constrained and difficult to carry out. Economic digitization is a very effective solution for the current pandemic situation, because it can reduce physical encounters between sellers and buyers. Through this research, The author observes the impact of economic digitization on economic growth in Indonesia, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic by using descriptive qualitative research methods. The descriptive qualitative research method uses various kinds of literature such as national and international journals and trusted websites as a source of study. The results that the authors get from this study are that the pandemic has a positive impact on the development of the digital economy, because it is able to accelerate the introduction and acceptance of the use of technology in shopping or other economic activities for daily use by the community. This can be seen from the increase in electronic money transactions from 2019 to 2020 as much as Rp. 145.2 trillion to Rp. 204.9 trillion, which increased by 41.2%.

Abstract

The definite aim of this research is specifically for measuring the influence of profitability and debt ratios on stock return in the Indonesian cosmetic industry, both partially and simultaneously. There are five independent variables within this study examined by descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The research methodology uses a quantitative method that took from 2014-2019 quarterly financial report from five cosmetics companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Adopting quantitative research and using secondary data, there will be 120 pieces of observation data from 5 samples from 2014-2019. The theoretical framework focused on Debt to Total Asset Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio , Return on Asset , Earning per Share, Price Earning Ratio and the influence of financial ratios calculation in terms of EPS, DAR, DER, ROE, and PER on Stock Return in Indonesia’s Cosmetics Industry as the independent variables and Stock Return (Y) as the dependent variable. The findings of this research reveal that EPS, DAR, DER, ROA, and PER all have a significant impact on Stock returns. On the other hand, EPS and ROA do not significantly influence Stock returns. The other variables, DAR, DER, and PER, significantly influence Stock returns.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image and price perception on purchasing decisions for ASUS brand laptops at the Risky Media Computer store. Respondents in this study were Risky Media Computer shop consumers who had bought an ASUS brand laptop. The number of respondents as many as 100 people. sampling using the methodaccidental sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on data analysis and discussion results, it can be seen that: 1)Brand image (X1) has a positive effect on purchasing decisions (Y) is acceptable, with path coefficients of 0.324084, and a T-statistic value of 3.132602 > 1.96 (from the table value Zα = 0.05). 2) Price perception (X2) has a positive effect on purchasing decisions (Y) is acceptable, with path coefficients of 0.522840, and a T-statistic value of 6.144804 > 1.96 (from the table value Zα = 0.05). The conclusion is that brand image and price perception contribute to Asus laptop purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of risk management for bridge construction projects. This research is constructing a bridge in the Gayungan sub-district, Surabaya. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The types of data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The direct data collection technique uses a questionnaire technique regarding risk research to collect two opinions: the opportunities and consequences of risk. The method used is expert sampling, namely determining samples known to have experience or expertise in a field. Meanwhile, secondary data collection uses literature study techniques following the research object. Based on the results of the data and analysis, it can be concluded that the risks identified from the respondents' answers are: 18% unacceptable, 58% not expected, 17% acceptable, and 7% ignored. The handling of risks that are classified as extreme risk and high risk based on the largest source of trouble, namely by contractors with more emphasis on project implementation planning and choosing the correct method according to the situation and field conditions, as well as implementing work safety programs to create safe and safe working conditions minimize accidents in the workplace.

Abstract

Recreation is done for the purpose of fun and relaxation. One of the interesting recreational activities is fishing activities. This activity can revive marine tourism. This research aims to identify the characteristics of sport /fun fishing anglers who fish around the waters of Sorong and analyze the technical feasibility of sport / fun fishing in the waters around the mouthpiece. This research was conducted using a case study survey approach on sports / fun fishing activities in Sorong Waters The data collection method used is an interview (quisioner) and observes directly the hand line fishing gear carried out by anglers and records the location and catch . The data taken in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is taken by observing, and interviewing anglers. Secondary data is supporting data to assist and complement the completion of this research. The results of the study obtained hasil catch commonly obtained by anglers, namely: Grouper, Emperors, Snapper, Amberjack, Trevallly, Spanish Mackerel, Jobfish, Barracuda, and Pomfret. The results of a survey of 5 locations (Makoi, Wayar, Senapan, Saoka, Makbon) showed that the five locations were suitable for sport fishing, proved effective to get catches using metal jig with the most results in the waters of Batu Lobang – Makbon, followed by Makoi, Senapan, Saoka and Wayar.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze tax regulations, modern tax administration, and accountability for public taxpayer compliance. This research uses quantitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The types of data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The population in this study are individual taxpayers who are registered at the Sumedang district tax office who do business and work independently. The sampling technique in this study used the convenience sampling method. Data collection techniques using the questionnaire method and testing the research data using validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistical test, and statistical t-test. Based on the analysis of the research data, the following points can be concluded: a) The relationship between understanding of tax regulations and taxpayer compliance is positive and significant with a T-count of 3.102 and the original sample value of 0.388; b) The relationship between Modern Tax Administration and Taxpayer Compliance is positive and significant with a T-count of 3.504 and the value of the original sample is 0.385, and c) The relationship between Accountability and Taxpayer Compliance is positive and significant with a T-count of 3.095 and the original sample value of 0.281.

Abstract

The use of the website as one of the most influential means of communication in various human activities has been so widespread with a low cost factor, the website is often functioned as a medium for storing data and information using certain topics, besides that the website is also a collection of web pages that related to each other on the web. In general, there are several programming languages that are used to create website applications. such as, HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor), CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), Javascript, Mysql, and jquery. The CodeIgniter is an open or open source application based on the PHP framework with the MVC model or also commonly called the Model View Controller which is used to build a dynamic website using PHP code. CodeIgniter helps make it easier for developers or developers to be able to create a website-based application very quickly and quickly. In this study, analysis and comparison of the accuracy of preventing SQL injection attacks is carried out on the CodeIgniter framework and the Laravel framework. In the CodeIgniter framework, the escaping query function is used to prevent SQL injection attacks. Meanwhile, the Laravel framework uses the loquent ORM function to prevent SQL injection attacks. The Codeigniter and Laravel frameworks have different time and speed performance results. Codeigniter has a higher average time and speed than Laravel. In the average time value, Codeigniter has a greater time duration than Laravel with a difference of 4.2 ms and in the average speed value, Codeigniter is still superior with a difference of 40.08 Kbit/s from Laravel.
