Abstract

Performance is a condition that is always a concern for managers. Conditions that are easy to "pronounce" but "difficult" to realize. This requires knowledge that exists in all components of the company. This study investigates the connection between IC and the organization's financial success. Companies in the energy categories (Oil, Gas, and Coal) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange make up the sample for this study (IDX). The companies selected to be sampled routinely report their financial statements from 2010-2022. In addition, the company did not suffer losses in the study period. Data is a financial statement that is then analyzed by regression analysis. The results showed that all IC items (public model) affect financial performance. However, SCE has a negative influence. This shows that the structure that the company is building allows for changes. This is because SCE is the primary support of HCE in operations.

Abstract

As a crucial player in promoting well-being, the Indonesian government has a vital role in fostering economic growth and infrastructure development in different cities of Indonesia. However, a significant challenge faced by the country involves striking a balance between infrastructure development and environmental conservation, in line with the principles of sustainable development goals. To tackle this issue, this study utilized a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on the case of Bekasi Regency in West Java. Data for the research was collected through interviews with officials from the Bekasi Regency Government, as well as through document analysis and literature review. The analysis primarily revolved around a SWOT analysis. The research findings indicate that Bekasi Regency possesses favorable geographical advantages, regulations, and legal frameworks that enable the issuance of sukuk (Islamic bonds) and support green infrastructure development through financing from green sukuk. However, the current situation reveals a lack of green infrastructure development in Bekasi Regency financed by sukuk or green sukuk. Most of the existing green infrastructure projects in the city are initiated by various ministries rather than being led by Bekasi Regency itself.

Abstract

This study used the Signaling Theory approach to determine the effect of leverage and liquidity on firm value and used firm size as a moderating variable. The research sample used is food and beverage sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2016-2021. Data processing was carried out with the STATA version 17 statistical application. The leverage variable is used to see the proportion of debt used by the company in its financing and the results show that leverage is proven to increase firm value significantly. Liquidity is used to see the company's ability to pay its debt obligations and the results show that liquidity is proven to significantly increase firm value. These findings strengthen the theory that leverage and liquidity have a positive effect on firm value. Firm size is used as a variable that is considered to strengthen the relationship between leverage and liquidity. However, the results show that firm size is not proven to strengthen the relationship between leverage and liquidity on firm value.
