Abstract

Testing the effect of group counseling with behavioral rehearsal techniques on increasing student learning responsibilities in the era of the covid-19 pandemic is the purpose of this study, one group pretest and posttest designs were used in this study. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, namely the Sarbini Grabag Islamic Junior High School students who had low learning responsibility characteristics using a sample of 8 people. It is carried out by using a learning responsibility questionnaire on the data collection method. Parametric analysis of paired sample t-test was used in the data analysis method. This research has succeeded in proving that group counseling with behavioral rehabilitation techniques has an effect on increasing learning responsibilities in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. The results of the paired sample t test are proven by the probability value of sig(2-tailed) 0.000 <0.0005 There is a difference in the average score of the learning responsibility scale of 37.68% between the pretest and posttest on the results of the discussion and data analysis. The conclusion from the results of this research is that group counseling with behavioral rehearsal techniques has an effect on increasing student learning responsibilities in the Covid-19 pandemic era. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find, study and further explore scientifically and theoretically, about the importance of the position and role of needs analysis, in order to maximize the process of guidance and counseling services in schools. Through this research, it will be explained scientifically about the reasons for the importance of needs analysis for the formulation of bk services in schools. It is hoped that later from this research a basic paradigm of thinking will emerge related to the urgency of analyzing the needs for bk services. This research is a literature study which is a study carried out through the collection of information and data on various sources derived from libraries, which is inseparable from the problem to be solved. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed by the content analysis method. Needs analysis plays a role in planning programs in the long term, short term and certain programs, as well as laying the foundation for the formulation of counseling service programs that will be carried out. The implementation of the needs analysis for students can be the basis for the formulation of guidance and counseling programs in schools, by conducting a needs analysis of students, teachers can formulate various guidance and counseling service programs appropriately. Abstract

This article aims to determine the effect of the authoritarian parenting style on the independence of class XII SMAN 22 Surabaya. Quantitative research using correlational design. The sample used was 100 students by taking simple random sampling. Data collection uses a measurement scale with the instrument of authoritarian and independent parenting based on the aspects of each variable. Data analysis with product moment correlation. The results show that authoritarian parenting affects independence, as evidenced by the correlation coefficient (-0.294) with a significant level of 0.003 (p <0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a negative effect of authoritarian parenting on independence. This means that low independence is a result of high authoritarian parenting. Abstract

This research was conducted to examine more deeply related to audio affirmations. There has been no research that examines audio affirmations, especially in shaping one's self-esteem. Furthermore, this study was conducted to answer how the use of affirmation audio can make positive self-esteem, how affirmation audio works can make individual positive self-esteem and see the efficiency of using positive affirmation audio. This type of research is qualitative research. The type of literature research found that positive affirmation audio works through the subconscious mind and then passes through a system called the Reticular Activating System (RAS). Especially when the affirmation audio is heard when the brain waves are in theta state. So that individuals have more time to process positive words into their subconscious and remember them compared to general affirmation techniques that have to think of appropriate sentences in the process of giving affirmations. The subconscious mind continues to repeat the positive sentence so that the sel view can be understood more positively consciously. Keywords: Positive affirmations; audio affirmations; self-esteem

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of the parenting style dimension to the academic procrastination of 'X' high school students. Respondents in this study were 224 people. This research is a correlation study that uses a linear regression analysis method. The parenting style dimension questionnaire used is a scale of parenting style (Gafoor, 2014) which has been translated by researchers and carried out readability tests by experts. The questionnaire contains 38 items of statements with a validity coefficient of 0.38 - 0.89. Reliability test results are 0.94 for the responsiveness dimension and 0.95 for the demandingness dimension. The academic procrastination questionnaire used was a questionnaire compiled by Mercy (2019) and had a total of 24 statements. The validity of this measuring instrument ranges from 0.01 - 0.72 and reliability is 0.84. The result of this study is that there is no significant contribution from the parenting style dimension to the academic procrastination of 'X' high school students. The researcher's suggestion is, further research can be carried out by measuring the contribution of other factors that can affect academic procrastination in high school students. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in student assertivity by providing Role Playing Technique Group Guidance services using Role Card media. The study used 18 students from 33 students from 33 in class X of social studies. The design of this study was in the form of group guidance, which in this study became 2 groups because there were quite a lot of students. The data collection method in this study utilizes perceptions, surveys, meetings, and documentation. The data analysis method in this study uses descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the study, the results obtained, there was an increase in the level of student assertiveness in providing role playing technique group guidance services using role card media. The results were obtained in the provision of group guidance services as many as 4 meetings in 2 research cycles. The results of this study showed an increase in the assertiveness of MA BahrulUlum Silo class X social studies students with good categories, it was seen from the success indicators of 70% of 18 students, namely 13 students experienced an increase in assertiveness both in the implementation of role-playing procedures with services using role card media Keywords: Role playing; Assertiveness;Students

Abstract

Academic resilience becomes an important psychological factor that can help first-year undergraduate students in facing various challenges in the early period of university. Some researchers reported that self-efficacy has a role in the formation of resilience in individuals. The present study attempted to investigate the role of academic self-efficacy in academic resilience among the first-year undergraduate students. A total of 400 students (61.75% female) in Universitas Andalas were recruited as research subjects through the purposive sampling technique. Measures used in the study were the Academic Resilience Scale-30 (ARS-30) adapted from Cassidy (2016) and the Academic Self-efficacy Scale was constructed based on the theory of Bandura (1997). The simple linear regression analysis results showed that academic self-efficacy had a significant and positive effect on academic resilience by about 60.2%. Therefore, the level of academic self-efficacy among first-year undergraduate students had an important role in increasing the level of academic resilience in facing the university life. In addition, the current study also found that students in this research had a moderate level of academic self-efficacy and academic resilience. Abstract

Research on the relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic resilience of class X students of SMK Kartini Jember for the 2020/2021 Academic Year with respondents studied as many as 92 students out of 120 students was taken with the research described. The techniques used are polling and meeting strategies. Side effects of information investigation using the second item equation to break the relationship between two factors, namely academic self-efficacy with academic resilience of class X students of SMK Kartini Jember for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Based on the results of the study by utilizing the help of the SPSS application, it is known that a very large value is 0.00, so conclusions are drawn from the hypothesis, namely Ha: there is a relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic resilience of class X students of SMK Kartini Jember for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Ho: there is no relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic resilience of students of SMK Kartini Jember for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The results of the study using the SPSS application are known to be of a large value of 0.00, then the critical value of 0.00 is below 0.05, so it tends to be considered that Ha is recognized and Ho is rejected. So the answer was obtained that there is a relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic resilience of class X students of SMK Kartini Jember for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Abstract

During the transition period from childhood to adolescence and from adolescence to adulthood, we are faced with the discovery of new developmental tasks that need to be mastered. Overcoming developmental challenges is also influenced by the environment and culture. Given this task, some people can handle it, while others can handle it little or nothing. The purpose of this paper is to describe the positive experience of group counseling services in children at the Sumogawe White Cross Orphanage. This study was conducted at the White Cross Orphanage with a total of 51 participants. The research method presents a qualitative picture that describes the practice of group counseling. Group counseling services are provided in the form of counseling services to small groups of 3-4 orphans with the aim of helping children develop the importance of social support. Development of self-concept. The results of group counseling activities can be beneficial. In short, the children of the Sumogawe White Cross Orphanage respect each other, respect themselves, broaden horizons, form group dynamics of group members, and provide emotional support in individual stressful situations. Abstract

Research on the Relationship between Learning Motivation and Academic Resilience of class XI students of SMK Al-Badri Gumuksari Kalisat for the 2021/2022 Academic Year with concentrated respondents of more than 120 students from 216 students taken by regular examination. The strategies used in this test are perception, polling and meeting techniques. The results of information analysis by utilizing the second recipe item to find out between two factors, to be more specific is the motivation to learn with academic resilience. Based on the results of the study, data was obtained that the learning motivation of class XI students of SMK Al-Badri Kalisat was included in the high category, namely 52% and the academic resilience of class XI students of SMK Al-Badri Kalisat was included in the moderate category, namely as much as 85%. In addition, Learning Motivation with Student Academic Resilience has a significant relationship. It is indicated by the importance value p=0.000, which means p<0.05. while the value r=0.351 indicates a positive connection coefficient. So the relationship between the two factors is unidirectional. From the results of the analysis research using the SPSS application, it is known that the price of the relationship coefficient is 0.351, and it implies that the level of the relationship coefficient is in the sufficient or moderate category. Furthermore, the comparison of significant degrees with the significant results used to answer the hypothesis, is obtained a value of 0.000, and that means Ha is recognized and Ho is rejected.
