Abstract

The primary aim of this present study is to investigate the effectiveness of reality approach to counselling on humans aggressive behavioral change. This is a counseling action research. This comprises of four phases namely acting, planning, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 36 students of SMAN 1 Jenggawah in the 2015/2016 academic year. Questionnaire and documentation are used to gather the data. In analysing the data, the researcher employs data reduction, data display and, lastly, conclusion drawing/verification. After treated by reality counceling services, the findings indicated that there was a steady decrease of verbal aggressive behavior displayed by the students of class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Jenggawah. In addition, the result also showed that the average of verbal aggressive behavior also fell. It could be shown from the score gained by the students, 67 – 94 of 60% overall score.Keywords: Aggressive Behavior, Reality counseling services, verbal aggressive behavior.

Abstract

This pre-experimental design explored the effects of Islamic counselling approach on the students’ self-discipline at class VIIID, MTs. Al-Misri Rambipuji-Jember, in the academic year 2015/2016. The author employed one group pretest-posttest design. The methods adopted were questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The results of Z-test of the implementation of Islamic counselling approach after being calculated using Wilcoxon signed rank test at the .05 significance level showed -1.2135976which indicated that Z score was greater than Z-Table. It also indicated that H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. Thus, it could be concluded that the implementation of Islamic counselling approach had a significant effect on the students’ self-discipline.Keyword: Islamic counseling, self discipline

Abstract

Burnout learning can prevent a person from becoming a personal success desired for his future life. Researchers conducted observations at the junior high school Al-Hikmah Jambuan boarding school class VII even semester of the academic year 2016-2017 and obtained data about 56% or more than half the students who experienced burnout learning. This study aims to reduce the intensity of learning burnout through group dynamics. The type of research used is action research guidance and counseling (PTBK). The procedure used is the cycle model. Based on the results of the research, the first cycle of the first meeting of respondents still shows the attitude of learning burnout. It is shown from student activeness, student interest, student enthusiasm, and conducive student only ranged between 60-66%. The second meeting, respondents have shown a better situation that is about 78%. The first cycle of the first meeting is about 80%. The second meeting, student activity, student interest, student enthusiasm, and conducive students increased, ranging from 89-91%. Thus, it can be concluded that group dynamics can decrease the intensity of learning burnout.Keywords: Learning Burnout, Group Dynamics

Abstract

Bullying is defined as repeated aggression carried out by one or more people who aim to harm or disturb others physically, verbally or psychologically. Verbal bullying is a desire to harm or disturb other people in a non-physical manner which includes: 1) calling names of ridicule, 2) extortion, 3) threatening, 4) swear words, 5) taunting friends. This research was conducted in class VIIIb of MTs. Al-Ma'arif Wuluhan. This research used quantitative approach of a pre-experimental with one group pretest design. The population in this study was all eighth grade students of MTs. Al - Ma'arif Wuluhan and the sample was taken using purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used in this study were observations, interviews, and questionnaires which were then analyzed using the Wilcoxom test. The results of research on verbal bullying behavior has decreased from the role playing technique to verbal bullying behavior of class VIIIb MTs AL-MA'ARIF students. It can be seen from Z count (0, 186)> Z table (0.05) which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Keyword: role playing, verbal bullying

Abstract

Self esteem can occur in adolescence, one of which is at school age. School age is the transition period of individuals from childhood to adulthood, so that many problems are faced, both with oneself and with the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the increase in student self esteem by providing personal social guidance services. This study used guidance and counseling action research (PTBK). The population is determined as the research respondents. The data collection methods used in this study were questionnaire method, and observation. Based on the results of the study; the first cycle at the first meeting, the respondents still showed low self esteem, which showed only 50%. While in cycle 2, researchers emphasized more on providing reinforcement to respondents so that the self esteem can increase to 70%. This can be seen from the column showing that self esteem has increased to 70%. Keywords: self esteem, social personal guidance

Abstract

Students with low interest in learning are due to several factors such as boredom, association, low learning motivation and physical health. Based on the results of the initial study, it showed that students' interest in learning was low, it was necessary to arrange services to increase students' interest in learning. Students' low interest in learning needs to get help, so it doesn't hinder their developmental tasks. Assistance designed to increase interest in learning is group guidance services. The purpose of the research is to test the effectiveness of group guidance services to increase the learning interest of vocational students in the Computer and Network Engineering major. The sample in this study was 35 students. This study uses an experimental research one group pre test post test design. Collecting data using a questionnaire developed by the researcher. The results showed that the results of the t-table test were: 4.405 > 2.030 at a significance level of 5% with (df = 35 – 1 = 34). The results showed that group guidance services were effective in increasing students' interest in learning. Keywords:Adolescent; Group Conseling; Learn;Vocational High School

Abstract

Based on the initial study by observing the data obtained about 57 %of students who experince self confidence. This study aims to increase the intensity of self confidence through group counseling. Yhe type of research used is guidance and counseling action research. The procedure used is a cycle model. Based on the results of the study, the first cycle of the first meeting of the respondents were still students showing ow self esteem. It is shown from the activeness, interst of students, enthusiasm of student, and conducive to students only around 60-66%. The second meeting, respondents have shown a better condition, which is around 74%. Cycle two the first meeting, around 80%. The second meeting, student avtivity. Student interest, student enthusiasm and student conduciveness increased, ranging from 89-96%. Group counseling services are one of the recommended aids to help students who exspirince low self esteem. Keywords: Group Conseling; Self Confodence

Abstract

The ability of an individual to survive in difficult conditions, to be able to quickly rise from adversity and be able to adapt positively to academic pressures and demands, this situation is called academic resilience. Students with high academic resilience will always be optimistic and positive in facing academic difficulties, not easily discouraged and able to get out of the problem they face. This research uses correlational quantitative method. The subjects in this study were 123 respondents consisting of 51 men and 72 women with an age range of 19-25 years. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. Data collection methods in this study are questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of the rxy value is 0.413. These result indicate that the correlation coefficient is positive and is in the sufficient category. The correlation coefficient value of r=0.413 means that the contribution of the self regulated learning variable to academic resilience is 16.56% while the remaining 83.44% is from other variables. These variables or factors include students cognitive abilities, self efficacy, self esteem, student characteristics, community, environment and social support. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between self regulated learning and academic resilience of students in the 2020 academic year. Abstract

During the current pandemic, the development of information and communication technology is very much needed in daring learning. The problem this study is how to describe the level of problem-solving abilities carried out by students in solving math problems on the number pattern material according to Polya during daring learning. This study aims to describe the problem-solving abilities according to Polya during daring learning on number pattern material for class VIII MTs. Hasanuddin Semboro with the subjects studied were 6 out of 23 students.This research method type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The results showed that the, students tended to be incomplete in writing down known and asked data and students are able to describe number pattern problems using symbols. At the stage, students are able to recall the number pattern problems that have been resolved. At the stage of carrying out, students are able to carry out their plans and check for the previous steps to have been carried out. At the re-checking stage, some students are able to re-examine and steps that have been carried out.   Keywords: problem solving, number pattern, online learning
