Abstract

Indonesian is the language used as a unifying language. In addition, in elementary schools Indonesian is also one of the subjects. One of the materials studied is sentences. Of the various types of sentences, the sentence that will be discussed further is the imperative sentence. Although this sentence is very common in the practice of everyday life. But not everyone has full knowledge of what a command sentence is. Therefore, this study aims to find out, analyze and describe the imperative sentences in the collection of short stories Pen, and use them as teaching materials to find imperative sentences in grade II elementary school. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis method. Then use a collection technique, namely technical document analysis which is then analyzed through three stages consisting of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study, found imperative sentences in 13 stories in the collection of short stories Pen by 26 special intelligent children. The command sentences are 60 sentences and have been validated by experts. In the collection of short stories Pen, there are three types of command sentences, namely the actual command sentence totaling 34 sentences, the invitation-to-command sentence totaling 22 sentences and the prohibition command sentence totaling 4 sentences. Then the results of the analysis of command sentences in a collection of short stories Pens are used as an alternative to writing teaching materials to find imperative sentences in grade II elementary school.

Abstract

The intrinsic element is one of the most important elements in writing narrative essays. This study intends to analyze the intrinsic elements in the short story anthology of Balon Wish as an alternative to making teaching materials for writing narrative essays in the fifth grade of elementary school. Researchers conducted research using qualitative research with content analysis methods because this study analyzed the intrinsic elements in the book Anthology of Short Stories Anak Balon Wish which would then be followed by an analytical technique process consisting of three stages, namely data reduction, data description, and making conclusions. The purpose of this study was to find out the intrinsic elements in the short story anthology balloon wishes and to obtain teaching materials for writing narrative essays for students in class V of Elementary School based on the results of the analysis of intrinsic elements in short story anthology of short story children of balloon wishes. Based on the results of the study, the intrinsic elements were found, namely, the main character, theme, additional character, time setting, characterizations, place setting, atmosphere setting, plot, point of view of the first person, mandate, and point of view of the third person. From the data described, conclusions are then drawn to make teaching materials for writing narrative essays for students in class V Elementary School in the form of handouts containing material intrinsic elements, writing narrative essays and student worksheets as an exercise to determine the level of student understanding.

Abstract

 The daily test question is one of the evaluation questions given by the teacher to students tomeasure understanding of the material that has been given but the daily test questions at MIAl-Islamiyah have not been analyzed for items. This is also evidenced by the results of research from Wiguna in 2018 which states that most teachers find it difficult to analyze tests and the ability to compose learning outcomes tests is still low. The quality of the items can be known by analyzing the items, so that the teacher can know the quality of each item as well as the ability of the students so that the items can adjust to the average ability of the students. This study aims to see the quality of daily test items using the Rasch Model. The Rasch model can see the quality of the questions based on the level of difficulty. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The object of this research is daily test questions in mathematics with the research subject being 152 students of class IV MI AlIslamiyah. The data collection technique was carried out using documentation methods such as teacher-made daily test sheets, answer keys and student response sheets. Based on the results of the analysis showed that all items matched the Rasch Model with an average item difficulty level which was in the range of -2.51 to 1.46. The value of the test information function is 27.134 on the student's ability of 0.0368 logit and the measurement error is 0.19197. The student's ability level is 64% moderate as evidenced by 77.78% of the items have been mastered by the students.

Abstract

Researchers aim to see the effectiveness of wordwall media usage and the student responsesto wordwall media. According to the results of the interview at SDN menteng 03, during thecovid-19 pandemic the study was conducted online. Daily exercises performed during onlinestudy of mathematics at SDN menteng 03 are still in the way teachers give the problems andstudents copy them into the textbook afterward in photos and then are sent personally through the whatsapp to the subject teacher. The teacher has not used a medium that can be used in daily practice. The method used is the quantitative approach using a pre-design design design for one - group preafflicted posttest design that is a pre-experiment study that USES one group but there are pretests and posttests (yuwanto listyo, 2019:153). According to the data the pretest of the student is 66.56 and the student posttest is 88.75. According to nurgana (within nurhadi, 2018:109) learning can be categorized effectively, if 75% of students get a higher value or equal to KKM ata value of 70. In turn, wilcoxon tests are designed to learn more about the effectiveness of the use of the wordwall media, with its significant value of 0,000 or 0,0000.05, and ho has been rejected, which suggests an average difference between the study of mathematics for pretest and posttest so that it can be proved that the use of wordwall media is effective in mathematical daily exercise activities on grid and scale materials. Research has been continuing to learn how students respond to media use with a student's response to wordwall media usage falls under a "high" category with a frequency of 16 students or 50% of the class student population v SDN menteng 03. Thus, from the data it is known that students have a good response to the use of wordwall media in daily exercise activities.

Abstract

This study illustrates the role of parents of grade IV students of SD Negeri Sumuranja 2 inhelping children learn at home. Parental responsibility is the most important, in terms ofattention and affection for children, so that children feel comfortable and helped while studying at home. Parental guidance is carried out when the child has not yet taken formal education, namely school, the role of parents is an important thing to do as a substitute for teachers to help children learn at home. As parents, they cannot fully release it to the school, because at home the child has quite a lot of time so that the role of parents is needed in helping children learn. This study was conducted because the author wanted to know the perspective of parents when helping children learn at home, besides that they can know the efforts and ways that parents of students make in helping learn at home. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, used to describe a situation or events according to reality. In this study, researchers collected data using questionnaire instruments, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the perspective of parents in helping and guiding children is quite good, with good communication, supervising at the time of learning, providing facilities, guiding, helping the learning process, providing knowledge, and applying a disciplined attitude. The difficulties and obstacles experienced when helping children learn at home are the limited knowledge of parents in learning materials. So the efforts made are to help by looking for answers through textbooks or searching the internet. The role of parents is important, because in addition to helping in theory, it also strengthens the sense of family so that it can be harmonious and by motivating children to be more enthusiastic in learning.

Abstract

Social studies learning can develop students in understanding the conditions that occur in society, especially on social problems and knowing past lives in accordance with people's lives. However, expectations in reality show that schools have not been able to understand the demands of community development. Researchers found problems at the time of the study, researchers found problems, namely the lack of social studies learning outcomes for students in class V which showed that many students did not reach the KKM. Which is due to the limited knowledge of teachers about the social studies problem-solving approach, because basically it only uses the lecture method, so that students are less active in the learning process, are less able to realize knowledge in concrete life, are less able to develop their interests, students' critical thinking skills cannot be developed so also the reasoning power of students which ultimately results in low student learning. The study was conducted on 41 students of the fifth grade of the Mangunreja State Elementary School. Two cycles have been carried out with the method used in this research, namely the Class Action Research (CAR) method. The instruments used in the researcher are guide sheets for student tests, sheets for student observations, sheets for teacher observations. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes. This increase is shown in the results of observations of student activities in the first cycle of activities, the average score of the percentage value is 38.4%, while the average score of the presentation value in the second cycle is 67.6%. This can be seen by the acquisition of scores indicating that there is an increase in student learning activities in social studies lessons using the jigsaw type of cooperative learning model.

Abstract

Develop students' ability to understand the conditions that occur in society, especially the diversity of ethnic groups in Indonesia, which is very diverse. Here the researchers found a problem, namely the lack of social studies learning outcomes for students in class IV which showed that many students did not reach the KKM. because basically it only uses the lecture method, so that students are less active, do not realize knowledge in concrete life, are less able to develop their interests, students' critical thinking does not develop as well as thinking power which results in the value of student learning outcomes is not good. This research was carried out to students of class IV B Salira State Elementary School to 23 students. Two cycles have been carried out using classroom action research (CAR). The instruments used in the researchers were the student test sheet guidelines, student observation sheets, and teacher observation sheets. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes. This increase is shown in the results of the pre-test and post-test scores on social studies learning about ethnic diversity in Indonesia, in the first cycle activities, the average score was 39.56 with a percentage value of 14.2% and at the post-test there was an average score. the average is 54.4 or the percentage is 25%. Then in cycle 2, students get an average pre-test score of 69.3 with a percentage value of 65.2%, and in cycle 2 the average score is 86.5 and the percentage value is 95.6%. With this, it can be seen that the value obtained by students in increasing creativity has increased, and students are also able to more easily study the material on ethnic diversity in Indonesia well, so that the material obtained in this study can be said to have been successful. This proves that the Role Playing method has a major impact on increasing students' creativity while studying.

Abstract

The existence of globalization and modernization is the cause of various changes in a life, one of which is local wisdom. Local wisdom is now fading along with the rapid development of the times. The process of learning at the basic education level is to use the 2013 curriculum with integrative thematic learning, namely a learning model which consists of various themes in an integrated manner so that a meaningful experience can be obtained by students. The 2013 curriculum is based on cultural appreciation or local wisdom as stated in Permendikbud Nomor 79 Tahun 2014 concerning Local Content for the 2013 Curriculum. Teaching materials for thematic books are used nationally so that there is not enough local cultural wisdom for students. In the 2013 curriculum, science is one of the compulsory subjects. The principle of science learning is scientific inquiry with the surrounding environment, so it is very suitable if there is the involvement of Baduy local wisdom because in it Baduy is one of the Indonesian ethnic groups who are very close to nature. Therefore, researchers designed teaching materials in which there is local Baduy wisdom in an effort to instill environmental conservation values. In conducting this research, the researcher uses the R&D method, namely the ADDIE model with five stages. The teaching materials have been validated by material experts and media experts and given an assessment by the teacher which is stated in the appropriate category and without revision. The teaching materials developed were effective because all respondents gave positive responses and there was an increase in student learning outcomes before and after using the product.
