Abstract

The design carried out in this research is a website-based teacher cooperative information system at SD PAB 23 using the flat method. This research was carried out in stages using the waterfall method which is used as a system development method to create a website. The stages carried out include system validation and testing, this is the basis for proving whether the waterfall method has been successfully used in creating a teacher cooperative information system website to make it easier for existing cooperative members, with the flat method which is the basis for calculating rates. Interest on the teacher cooperative information system website can run well. This website aims to make it easier for admins to analyze data on savings, loans and payments which can be viewed easily and calculated automatically. This is a benefit for all cooperative members who join, the information system also helps us in managing data so that it is more systematic and neat in processing existing data. This cooperative was started in 2013 as a means to facilitate the material needs of all teachers at the school. This has been approved by all members of the cooperative, totaling 27 members at this time, to the extent that the applicable interest is used using the flat method, which is done by calculating the total interest based on the amount of the loan made, so as to produce the borrower's payment amount each month.

Abstract

CV Wahyu Putra is one of the companies engaged in agriculture that has not utilized the productivity of information technology in its operational activities, the lack of business development of the company in developing a digital marketing strategy, currently the dissemination of information about products is limited to word of mouth, this study seeks to provide new opportunities by developing a marketing information system for CV Wahyu Putra through a website and social media marketing accounts. Where from this study, namely designing an information system to improve marketing strategies by utilizing the results of direct interviews with five informants, including representatives of business development, market players, and the general public, these findings are used as reference materials for formulating analysis with the SOSTAC method which consists of 6 stages, namely Situation Analysis, Objective, Strategy, Tactic, Action and Control. Where this study produces the design of an information system to improve marketing strategies on a marketing website and Instagram social media account which functions as a marketing media and sales information system that is tailored to user needs.

Abstract

E-commerce has become an important role in driving the economy, many business actors, especially MSMEs, depend on selling their products online. E-commerce continues to experience extraordinary growth, many breakthroughs have been made to improve its systems and services. One of them is social commerce which utilizes social interactions from social network users, for example TikTok Shop. However, the government changed regulations regarding social commerce which resulted in the closure of TikTok Shop operations in Indonesia, which many reactions and opinions from the public. Therefore this research was conducted with aim of analyzing public sentiment towards the closure of TikTok Shop. This research uses 1233 data taken and collected from social media X in the range September to December 2023. This research also uses the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm method with a training data to test data ratio of 80:20. This research resulted in accuracy of 90,24%, precision of 74,33%, and recall of 100%. The large number of negative sentiments in this sentiment analysis shows the public’s disappointment with the policy changes carried out by the government which resulted in the closure of TikTok Shop operations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Having limited knowledge about balanced nutrition for the body can be an obstacle for many people in their efforts to live a healthy lifestyle. Due to not calculating calorie intake properly, it can potentially experience conditions where daily calorie intake does not match the needs, either deficiency or excess. This research aims to develop a daily calorie requirement calculation feature and daily nutrient intake calculation that allows users to calculate the calorie and nutrient intake of foods that have been consumed every day. The algorithm applied in calculating daily calorie needs in this study is using the Mifflin-St Jeor algorithm. System design in this study uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) with implementation using Kotlin programming language and Android Studio software. The result of this research is a daily calorie requirement calculation feature where users can calculate daily calorie requirements based on physical information data filled in by users as well as calculating daily nutritional intake by adding foods consumed, then the available features can calculate calories and nutritional content of foods that have been added by users so that users can find out how many total calories and nutritional content of foods that have been consumed by them. Calculations using the Mifflin-St Jeor algorithm resulted in the conclusion that a person's basic daily calorie needs can vary depending on body weight, height, age, and gender.

Abstract

The culinary industry is one of the sectors that has been able to survive during the Covid-19 pandemic, including catering services. Sari Rahayu 3 Restaurant in Banjarnegara is one of the catering service providers that still faces the problem of manual ordering via SMS or telephone, where orders are recorded on notes or books. This process requires more time, energy, and costs, resulting in errors in writing order details and human error. In addition, promotion still relies on word of mouth, so that the reach of information to the wider community is limited. This study aims to build an android mobile-based e-catering application that can facilitate online ordering for customers and help catering owners manage orders through a web platform. This study applies the Content-Based Filtering method to provide menu recommendations based on customer preferences such as category, price, stock and discounts using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system design and implemented with the Java and PHP programming languages. The stages of this research include problem identification, data collection, analysis of the running system, analysis and design of the proposed system, application implementation, and system testing. The final result of this research is an android mobile-based food ordering e-catering application with personalized menu selection features based on customer preferences, order quantity settings, and notifications when the order is successful as well as a website-based application that can be used by catering owners to manage orders. System testing shows that the application successfully runs according to the expected functionality and can improve the user experience in ordering food catering.

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Indonesia's 2024 general election introduces new opportunities and challenges to the political process. AI is employed in various aspects, including political campaigns, voter data analysis, and election monitoring. While AI can enhance efficiency and accuracy, concerns about ethics, privacy, and its impact on transparency remain significant. This study aims to analyze public sentiment toward the use of AI in the 2024 election using a Long Short-Term Memory Recurrent Neural Network (LSTM-RNN) approach. Data were collected from various social media platforms, with a total of 768 data points analyzed. The LSTM-RNN model achieved an accuracy of 96%, demonstrating that this approach is effective in predicting and identifying public sentiment. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for political parties, campaign teams, and election organizers to better respond to public preferences. Additionally, this research is anticipated to contribute to the development of more effective campaign strategies while maintaining transparency and the integrity of the electoral process in the digital age.

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia has become a serious problem in recent years. Various problems such as poor education management, inequality of facilities between urban and rural areas, and traditional learning methods that do not follow the development of modern technology make the quality of education low. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of Augmented Reality (AR) in Theme 3 Thematic learning in Elementary Schools. The research method uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) approach, with testing based on the ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction) Motivation Model. In addition, a test of students' level of understanding was carried out using the Student Activity Sheet (LKPD). Data was obtained from 32 grade 3 elementary school students. The test results showed that the AR application had an excellent interpretation/very effective interpretation score of 86%, with details of 90% for Attention, 82% for Relevance, 81% for Confidence, and 84% for Satisfaction. The level of students' understanding of the material is also high, with an average score of 85. So it can be concluded that the Augmented Reality application is very feasible to be applied in the Theme 3 Thematic learning process in Elementary Schools because it is able to effectively increase students' interest and understanding.

Abstract

Kelayo platform was developed to address common problems faced by tourists in Yogyakarta, such as the difficulty of obtaining complete and reliable information about tourist destinations, as well as the risk of fraud from unverified services. This research aims to enhance the tourist experience by providing a digital solution that integrates accommodation, transportation, and tour guide services into a single platform. The methodology used is Design Thinking, which includes the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Research data were collected through observations and interviews with tourists and local tourism stakeholders. The interview results were used to identify the main needs and problems that formed the basis for the development of the application's features. The study results indicate that the implementation of the Kelayo platform can reduce trip planning time by up to 35%, with an increase in user satisfaction reflected by a score of 80 on the System Usability Scale (SUS) evaluation. Additionally, the service verification feature reduces the risk of fraud by up to 50%, providing a sense of safety and convenience for users. The main contribution of this research is to offer a digital-based solution that improves transparency and efficiency in the tourism industry in Yogyakarta. Further development recommendations include involving a broader range of users and continuous testing to ensure the platform's relevance to the dynamic needs of tourists. This research demonstrates that the Design Thinking method is effective in designing an intuitive user interface that meets user needs.

Abstract

A boarding house is a residential service that offers rooms with flexible rental payments. However, transactions in most boarding houses are still conducted manually, where tenants have to send proof of payment to the owner and confirm that they have paid. This makes it difficult for tenants to ensure that their payments are received, and the owners also need to match the payment proofs with the recorded transactions. This situation is inefficient and can lead to administrative complexity as well as the risk of record-keeping errors. Therefore, a boarding house management information system is needed to simplify this process. The global mobile market share has risen from 0.67% in January 2009 to 47.96% in February 2019. This drives the need for mobile applications and responsive websites for mobile devices. However, developing mobile applications incurs higher costs compared to web-based system development. This article aims to create a boarding house management system using Progressive Web App (PWA) technology, which can simplify the payment and financial record-keeping processes, and can be installed like a native application, but with an easier installation process. The developed system successfully automates digital payments without manual verification, generates automatic bills, and sends notifications to tenants. The PWA implementation enhances the user experience by providing quick and easy access across various devices. As a result, the boarding house payment and transaction recording processes become more efficient, and user satisfaction is improved through a web application that delivers a mobile app-like experience.

Abstract

Information systems are vital for the collection, storage, and management of data to support decision-making. With technological advancements, serverless computing has emerged as an efficient solution, eliminating the need for manual server infrastructure management and allowing developers to focus on core applications. This study explores the application of serverless technology to enhance administrative efficiency in managing village population data, identifying its benefits and challenges. The research methodology employs an Agile approach, ensuring iterative development and responsiveness to user needs. The results show that serverless computing improves operational efficiency and service quality in population data management. Firebase enables real-time data synchronization without a relational schema. Village officials can manage population events, admins handle user data, and the village head monitors and generates reports. Additionally, system testing confirms that good security and performance enhance data quality. The study provides insights for village governments to adopt serverless technology to improve public services, despite challenges like complex security requirements and managing evolving cloud resources.
