Abstract

SMA Kertanegara Malang is committed to providing and improving the quality of education to its students. One of the main challenges that is often faced is that there are certain subjects that students consider difficult. Difficult subjects often become an obstacle for students to achieve satisfactory grades. One approach that can be taken is Data Mining. The analysis technique used is the K-Means algorithm, Clustering method. The Elbow method helps in determining the right number of clusters for the data that has been processed. The results of the Elbow method in this research are the most optimal cluster value, namely K= 3 based on the Within-Cluster Sum Of Square value of 104.5298167. The data used are the report cards of class The aim of this research is to determine what groups of subjects are considered difficult. The research results after 163 data were transformed into 30 data obtained 3 optimal clusters using the Elbow method, namely Cluster_1 with a difficult subject category containing 8 subjects. Cluster_2 with the medium difficulty level lesson category contains 10 subjects. Cluster_3 with the easy lesson category contains 12 subjects. The results of this grouping can be used by teachers at SMA Kertanegara Malang to provide more assistance to students, especially in subjects that are categorized as difficult.

Abstract

Managing congregation data and church activity schedules manually often leads to errors or possibly data loss such as, limited access to information, and potential recording errors. The purpose of this research is to develop a custom-made web-based congregation and church schedule management information system to support service efficiency at GPSDI Juwana. The system includes the ability to manage church data, activity schedules, and real-time reports that can be accessed by administrators and authorized users. The system was developed using the “waterfall” development methodology through the phases of requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing. The test results show that the system can improve administrative efficiency, minimize data entry errors, and make information more accessible to all parties involved. The developed system can also reduce church administrators' errors when managing church data by 70%. The system aims to be an innovative solution that supports the digitalization of church worship today.

Abstract

Batam is one of the cities with rapid economic growth supported by business, trade, and attractions. Many businesses are currently trying to expand their business by opening new branches. However, strategic locations for opening new branches are still a big challenge. Many entrepreneurs only rely on intuition or personal experience when making decisions, without considering strategic factors systematically, which risks business failure. Therefore, a system is needed to assist in decision making when choosing the best location. The purpose of this study is to apply the Profile Matching method in a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist business owners in choosing strategic locations in Batam. This method is used to compare ideal location criteria with field conditions based on 5 factors, such as population density, accessibility, level of competition, rental prices, and community purchasing power. The results of the study indicate that the Profile Matching method is able to identify the best location by comparing the weights between the ideal location profile and actual location data. The most strategic places for opening a business are Nagoya, Lubuk Baja and Batam Center with the highest total scores of 4.00, 3.50 and 2.00. With the Profile Matching-based SPK, business actors can reduce the risk of errors in choosing a location and increase the chances of their business success in Batam.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) plays an important role in the gaming industry, its application commonly found in non-player character (NPC) and procedural content generation (PCG). One of the popular methods for developing AI is reinforcement learning (RL). Unity, as one of the most dominant game engines, has its own RL framework called Unity ML-Agents Toolkit. Unity with its capabilities to simulate realistic environments. allowing Unity ML-Agents Toolkit to develop and test RL agents in various complex scenarios. However, Unity ML-Agents Toolkit only has limited RL algorithms. This study aims to introduce an alternative method for implementing reinforcement learning in Unity, while addressing the Unity ML-Agents Toolkit’s limitations. The proposed method is Unity-Gymnasium, which integrates Unity with Gymnasium, and tested by developing a sliding puzzle environment. The result of this study demonstrates that the Unity-Gymnasium method works well and allows access to total 38 different RL algorithms from various RL libraries that compatible with Gymnasium, such as Stable Baseline 3, CleanRL, Tianshou, Ray Rllib, and Dopamine, this number is significantly higher compared to Unity ML-Agents Toolkit which only offer five RL algorithm options.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and digitalization, the utilization of information technology has become a key factor in improving operational efficiency, including in the banking sector. Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR), as a financial institution, particularly serving small and medium enterprises, faces challenges in the credit application process, which is often time-consuming and prone to errors. This manual process hinders the speed of decision-making and lowers customer satisfaction. To address these issues, the development of a Web-Based Credit Application Information System is proposed, designed to expedite and simplify the credit application process, reduce data management errors, and improve transparency and accessibility of information for customers. This system allows Account Officers (AOs) to manage customer data, verify credit eligibility, and monitor the status of applications digitally. This study uses the Waterfall method, which covers the development of the system from needs identification, design, implementation, to system evaluation. The goal of this system development is to enhance the efficiency of the credit application process, reduce potential errors in data management, and increase AO productivity in processing credit applications. The expected outcome of this research is an improvement in service quality and the competitiveness of BPR in the digital era, with a system that is more efficient, accurate, and transparent in managing credit applications.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly impacted the healthcare sector, particularly in patient data management and medical administration. Klinik Bidan Eny Wijaya still relies on manual methods for recording patient data, which poses risks of data entry errors and data loss. This study aims to develop a web-based Clinic Management Information System to enhance efficiency in recording, storing, and managing medical records and patient administration. The development method used is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), consisting of five main stages: requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. System testing was conducted using the Black Box method to ensure its functionality meets user needs. A case study was conducted at Klinik Bidan Eny Wijaya using interviews, observations, and literature studies to understand the challenges in clinic management. The system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The result of this study indicate that the developed system significantly improves efficiency in petient data recording, storage, and management of medical records and administration at Klinik Bidan Eny Wijaya.

Abstract

Child Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), is a facility built by the DKI provincial government to facilitate its citizens as well as a place that is friendly to children as well as a means of playground, one of the facilities provided is a library but the library still uses manual or conventional methods in the process so that many stages are still inefficient, therefore the implementation of this library system is a good suggestion for the creation of an efficient process in the library. This system was created using PHP and MySql with the waterfall method as a guideline, the use of this method is expected to simplify and speed up the design process on the Kalimati West Jakarta RPTRA library information system. The conclusion obtained from this research is the design of a web-based library system that is easy to use in terms of interface and usage experience and to build a library system that makes it easy to collect library inventory data in the Child Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA).

Abstract

Administrative services at the sub-district level often face obstacles, such as slow manual processes, long queues, and limited access to services. Conventional recording systems increase the risk of data errors and slow down the response to community needs. This study developed a mobile-based Public Service Information System with the Agile method to improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of services. This system allows residents to submit and track document status, access population information, and file complaints online through a mobile application. Key features include population data management, a digital queue system, and a performance monitoring dashboard. Development using an Agile approach allows for rapid iteration based on user feedback. Implementation was carried out in stages with staff training and outreach to the community. Evaluation results showed an increase in service efficiency with document processing times reduced by up to 40%. User satisfaction surveys showed that 85% of respondents felt that this system made it easier to access services and increased transparency. The main challenges include community digital literacy and technological infrastructure. With continuous improvement, this system is expected to become a model for other sub-districts in modernizing technology-based government administration.

Abstract

To better serve its customers and make financial transactions easier, BNI Bank developed Wondr by BNI, a type of digital innovation in the banking industry. Users may access and download the Wondr by BNI application via the App Store for iOS devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices. To gauge the app's usefulness, reviews are required, and reviews can greatly impact the app's future updates. Consequently, the purpose of this research is to ascertain, by sentiment analysis, if reviews of the Wonder by BNI application are favorable or negative. The data used for this study came from the Google Play Store, and it was labeled using Microsoft Excel to get the positive and negative review counts. Then, it was processed with Data Preprocessing, and then weighting was done with TF-IDF to get the word counts. The data was then classified using the Naïve Bayes algorithm, and finally, it was evaluated to find out how accurate the results were. The dates of this study's execution are September 23, 2024, and January 10, 2025. Based on the data, Naïve Bayes produced rather accurate predictions, with a recall of 86.55%, a precision of 80.85%, and an accuracy rating of 83.03%. Because of its strong recall, the model was successful in identifying a small number of genuine positive cases.

Abstract

Innovation in drug and food supervision is just one of many public service sectors boosted by the meteoric rise of Mobile applications, which is in turn driven by the public's demand for quick and efficient solutions and the pervasiveness of smartphones. In light of this need, the Republic of Indonesia's Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) has released the BPOM Mobile app to facilitate public participation in the monitoring of food and drug products in circulation and to make information more easily accessible. Registered product information, breaking news, and the ability to submit complaints are all intended uses for this app. This research looked at the tone of BPOM Mobile reviews and discovered that most people were unhappy with the app, suggesting that it fell short of their expectations. This study utilized the Naive Bayes method in conjunction with the SMOTE Upsampling technique to assess sentiment. The accuracy, precision, and recall for the classification were 83.98%, 77.18%, and 96.49%, respectively. The results show that the Naive Bayes model with SMOTE does a good job of analyzing the sentiment of BPOM Mobile user reviews, and it also highlights the fact that the government needs to improve its application services. This study contributes in several aspects. First, this study presents a machine learning-based analysis to assess user satisfaction with public service applications. Second, the results of this study can be input for BPOM to improve the functionality and user experience in using the BPOM Mobile application.
