Abstract

The pharmaceutical industry has experienced rapid growth, urging companies to leverage sales data effectively to enhance data-driven marketing strategies. However, utilizing sales data remains a challenge for XYZ company, a pharmaceutical distributor. This study aims to analyze customer purchasing patterns by applying the FP-Growth algorithm for association analysis, combined with customer segmentation using the K-Means algorithm based on RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) analysis. The segmentation process resulted in four customer clusters: active and loyal customers (Cluster 1), passive customers (Cluster 2), less active customers (Cluster 3), and new customers (Cluster 4). FP-Growth analysis for each cluster revealed that Cluster 1 generated 10 significant association rules with a minimum support of 0.01 and confidence of 0.7, while Clusters 2, 3, and 4 produced 2, 3, and 4 association rules, respectively, with adjusted parameters. All rules showed a lift value > 1, indicating positive relationships between products. The findings of this study provide strategic insights for companies in designing data-driven marketing approaches, such as more targeted product offerings for loyal customers or retention strategies for passive customers, thereby optimizing sales and increasing profitability in each customer segment.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) technology can enhance agricultural productivity through automated monitoring and control systems. However, many existing IoT systems are still centralized and inflexible, making integration with other systems in the field challenging. This research develops a distributed and modular (plugin) automated monitoring and control system for soil moisture management, specifically for potato cultivation. The system utilizes soil moisture sensors to measure moisture levels, which are processed by an ESP8266 microcontroller. The data is used to automatically control irrigation flow, maintaining soil moisture within the optimal range for potato plants. Additionally, the system includes a backup feature that allows manual operation in case of automatic system failure. Field tests demonstrate that the system effectively maintains soil moisture at optimal levels. Its manual operation feature also ensures continued functionality during disruptions. Therefore, this system is expected to improve efficiency and resilience in agricultural land management, particularly in dynamic environmental conditions.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the logistics and transportation sector. On-demand delivery applications such as Lalamove are a solution for users who need fast and efficient services. However, the existence of various user reviews both positive and negative indicates a difference in experience that needs to be analyzed. This study aims to evaluate user perceptions of the Lalamove application by comparing the effectiveness of Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naive Bayes algorithms in sentiment classification. The data used in this study includes 10,000 user reviews obtained through scraping techniques from the Google Play Store. After going through the data preprocessing stage, the analysis is performed using TF-IDF method as feature extraction and the model performance evaluation is performed based on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. Sentiment classification in this study was performed in two categories, namely positive and negative (binary) sentiment, without considering the neutral category. The results show that the SVM algorithm has a high accuracy of 87% compared to Naive Bayes which only reaches 83%. This research provides an understanding for application developers in improving service quality based on user sentiment analysis.

Abstract

The declining interest in learning Javanese among primary and secondary school students is the focus of government and educator evaluation, as it is important to maintain the sustainability of the use of regional languages as an integral part of Indonesia's cultural identity. The still conservative nature of Javanese language learning is a consideration for the digitisation of teaching modules. The revival of Javanese pepak aims to revive the cultural wealth contained in various linguistic and literary aspects, such as tembang macapat, folk legends and the unggah-ungguh basa system, which reflects manners in communication. As Javanese culture itself is closely linked to the value system, philosophy of life and social norms, efforts to preserve it through technological innovation are very relevant. By applying the Content Structuring & Delivering by Modular Learning method, this application presents various features such as automatic translation, Javanese language levels (ngoko, madya and krama) and interactive quizzes, which can expand the accessibility of Javanese language learning. So far, a Javanese language (Pepak) learning support module in the form of an application is still not common. Therefore, this research aims to respond to these needs by developing a digital platform that will become one of the students' access points in learning Javanese through mobile devices. In this study, the application was developed using the Kotlin programming language with a localhost database, MySQL. System Usability Scale (SUS) test results show that the Jawa Jaya application is in the Acceptable (High) category with an adjective rating of Good and a score of 72.

Abstract

The problem raised in the study is how to control lights and air conditioners automatically via a smartphone with reliability and power efficiency. A home automation system for the use of lights and air conditioners works according to weather and temperature conditions using LDR sensors and DHT11 sensors from anywhere via the internet network so that it can identify and monitor the device in an on or off-state. For this reason, a design of a home control system is needed that can help users identify and monitor electronic devices remotely through a user interface, or automatically. This study aims to design a home automation system based on a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) so that it can be used to control lights and air conditioners automatically and flexibly. In addition, this study also measures and analyzes Quality of Service (QoS) using delay parameters, packet loss, and throughput according to the TIPHON standard. From this study, the results of the tests carried out for the control function of electronic equipment connected to the home automation system using ESP8266, LDR, and Relay Node can function properly, while the network quality test according to the Quality of Service (QoS) Analysis using the TIPHON standard obtained results for Delay is 154.6 ms can be categorized as Good, while for the quality of the Loss packet it is 0.0033% with an outstanding category, while for the Throughput value is 2.2996 kbps which is categorized as bad.

Abstract

The Uninhabitable Housing Assistance Program (RTLH) aims to help underprivileged people obtain adequate housing. However, in the process, there are still various obstacles, such as ineffective administration, limited access to information, and data verification that takes a long time. Therefore, this research focuses on developing a Village Information and Submission System to support the Housing and Settlement Service in managing aid more optimally. The method used in developing this system is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes the stages of planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The results obtained show that the system developed is able to speed up the application process, increase information transparency, and assist the government in verifying and distributing aid more efficiently and on target, This research is expected to provide benefits for the Village Information System and Submission for Uninhabitable House Assistance from the Housing and Settlement Service. and assist the Submission of Assistance Recipients in improving housing standards in.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has a significant impact on various aspects of life, including village administration services. Jejawi Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, still faces obstacles in managing population data, correspondence, business permits, and asset management which are still done manually. This causes various problems, such as service delays, recording errors, and difficulties in storing and processing data. This study aims to design and build a website-based village information system to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public services in Jejawi Village. The method used in developing this system is the Prototype method, which allows testing and gradual system improvement according to user needs. The technology used in developing the system includes PHP as a programming language, MySQL as a database management system, and XAMPP as a local server. The development of this system was carried out without using a special framework such as Laravel or CodeIgniter, but rather based on native PHP. The results of this study are a website-based information system that facilitates access to village administration services for the community and village officials. With this system, the process of making letters, managing assets, and recording population data becomes faster, more transparent, and more accurate. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the quality of public services in Jejawi Village and become a reference in the development of other village information systems.

Abstract

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global health issue that impacts quality of life and mortality rates. CKD often shows no symptoms in its early stages, earning it the nickname "silent disease," which complicates early detection efforts. This study aims to develop a classification model for CKD using the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm combined with the Pearson Correlation Coefficient feature selection method to enhance model performance. Feature selection is employed to reduce data dimensionality and prevent overfitting. The Kaggle "Chronic Kidney Disease" dataset is used in this study. Evaluation results show that the model with feature selection achieved an accuracy of 93.37%, precision of 91.9%, recall of 93.37%, and F1-score of 91.48%, while the model without feature selection achieved an accuracy of 91.27%, precision of 87.24%, recall of 91.27%, and F1-score of 88.99%. The contribution of this research is to improve the classification performance of chronic kidney disease by utilizing feature selection methods to achieve a better balance between precision and recall while reducing classification errors.

Abstract

Monkeypox is a contagious disease that requires prompt and accurate handling, particularly in the diagnostic process. However, identifying symptomps manually often takes time and is prone to error. In response to this challenge, this study aims to develop a machine learning based classification model to support a more efficient diagnosis process. This research applies two machine learning algorithms XGBoost regression and Random Forest regression to classify patients as infected or uninfected with monkeypox based on clinical symptoms. The study focuses on assessing how well each algorithm can distinguish between positive and negative cases, especially when dealing with imbalanced data or overlapping features. The dataset used consists of 25.000 entries sourced from Kaggle, each containing clinical indicators related to monkeypox. Before modeling, the data underwent exploratory data analysis (EDA) and preprocessing, including handling missing values. Furthermore, cross-validation and parameter tuning techniques were implemented to optimize model performance. The results indicate that XGBoost outperformed Random Forest, achieving 68% accuracy, 69% precision, 89% recall, and a 78% F1-score. In contrast, Random Forest yielded slightly lower scores. Both models were evaluated using the ROC curve, where each reached an AUC values of 0.60. This suggests that wile both models show potential, their ability to clearly distinguish between classes positive and negative remains limited and can be improves in future work.

Abstract

This research presents the development of a Geospatial-Based Information System prototype for visitor management in Indonesia's culturally sensitive Baduy indigenous region. The study addresses the critical challenge of balancing cultural preservation with sustainable tourism development through an innovative technological framework that respects indigenous sovereignty. Utilizing Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, the research integrates traditional knowledge systems with modern geospatial technologies to create a governance tool that enhances rather than displaces traditional decision-making structures. The prototype system architecture incorporates permit management workflows, GPS-enabled check-in protocols, and spatial monitoring capabilities that enable Jaro authorities to regulate visitor access, monitor distribution patterns, and enforce culturally appropriate boundaries. Black box testing validated the prototype's functionality across multiple operational scenarios, confirming its feasibility as a protective mechanism against unregulated tourism activities. This methodological approach to cross-cultural information system design establishes a foundational framework demonstrating how thoughtfully implemented geospatial technologies amplify Indigenous governance capabilities while creating sustainable economic opportunities aligned with traditional values and cultural preservation imperatives. The research contributes significantly to the discourse on Indigenous digital sovereignty and culturally appropriate technological interventions in heritage management.
