Abstract

This research is to know the effect of interaction and the best combination of giving trichokompos and NPK on growth and yield of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.). This research used polybag with factorial randomized block design (RAK) of two factors. The first factor was 4 levels of trichokompos dose treatment (T): t1 = 150 gram / polybag, t2 = 300 gram / polybag, t3 = 450 gram / polybag, t4 = 600 gram / polybag, and the second factor is 4 levels dose treatment of NPK (N) n0 = 0 gram / polybag, n1 = 60 gram / polybag, n2 = 120 gram / polybag, n3 = 180 gram / polybag. The result of the research showed trichokompos and NPK giving interaction effect on plant height 14 hst, while at plant height 21, 28, 35, and 42 hst, number of branch books, the number of fruit crops, and the weight of fruit crops, interaction of trichokompos fertilizer and NPK has no significant effect. The single treatment of NPK dosage influenced the number of branch book, the number of fruit crops, and the weight of the crops, while the single trichocompos treatment did not affect all observed variables.

Abstract

PGPR is biological product which it has functions as growth improved, nutrition provided, pest control and it can be plant growth acceleration. Chicken manure is an organic fertilizer which it can improving soil fertility and it can be plant growth acceleration. Ultisols is a easier erosion soils, therefore it has less of an organic matter and nutrition. Soybean is one of foodstuff which always increasing of necessary year by year. The pupose of this research was knowing an interaction of the treatments and the best treatments of PGPR and chicken manure towards growth and yield of soybean which planted on ultisols soil of Batakan. This research was using Split Plot Design two factor of treatments. First factor is PGPR concentration (J) as the main of plot, it has 4 levels there is control (J0), 7,5 ml PGPR/l of water (J1), 15 ml PGPR/l of water (J2) and 22,5 ml PGPR/l of water (J3) and the second factor is chicken manure (H) as the sub plot, it has 3 levels there is control (H0), 10 t/ha-1 (60 g of soybean) (H1) and 20 t/ha-1 (120 g of soybean) (H2). This research showed all of variable has not interaction between PGPR and chicken manure. The best treatment of PGPR is on 15 ml/l of water concentration (J2) towards plant’s height and towards harvest age. While, on treatment of chicken manure 20 t/ha-1 (H2) is the best dosage of plant height, root nodus, pods of plant and 100 of seeds weight.

Abstract

Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) the one is horticultural plants of the Solanaceae family that has high economic value. Cayenne pepper is used as a spice in cooking and medicine. The average national production of cayenne pepper in 2009 was 5.89 t ha-1, whereas in South Kalimantan in 2009 it was 4.4 t ha-1. This was due to uncertain season, also the handling of how to cultivate cayenne cultivation was less than the maximum For example, irrigation is still a matter of relying on rain and the use of seeds that are not selected, as well as the application of fertilizers that are not optimal. Water hyacinth is an alternative source of organic material that is widely available in waters that are not utilized, but can be used as pupu bokashi. This study aims to determine the different effects of the administration of several types of bokashi fertilizer to the growth of the chili variety in the vegetative phase. This study uses a completely randomized one factor in the form of water hyacinth dose consisting of 5 levels, P0 = Control (5 kg soil + 1 kg chicken manure fertilizer) / poly bag P1 = 10% g bokashi water hyacinth P2 = 20% g bokashi fertilizer water hyacinth P3 = 40% g bokashi fertilizer water hyacinth P4 = 80% g bokashi fertilizer water hyacinth. The observation variables in this study were plant height, stem diameter and number of flowers. The results of this study show that the application of water hyacinth bokashi has a significant effect on the diameter of the stem at the age of 35 HST where the best treatment is in the treatment P4 = 80% g of bokash ieceng goiter with 0.60 cm in diameter.

Abstract

Meloidogyne spp. is the cause of dwarf symptoms, yellowing, wilting and the formation of bumps on the roots of tomatoes which leads to decreased production of quality and quantity of tomatoes. Observation of nematode life cycle is important to design an effective and efficient control strategy, by knowing the life cycle of Meloidogyne spp. can be known how to control and when the right application time to control the parasite Meloidogyne spp. Inoculation of nematode eggs is done by pouring a suspension containing 300 nematode eggs around tomato roots. Observation of the life cycle of nematodes in the roots was done by the method of tissue staining Byrd et al, (1983). Temperature was measured to determine its effect on the length or length of development of live stages of Meloidogyne spp. the. Long development of live stadia Meloidogyne spp. starting from the egg phase, L2, L3 + L4 and adult male / female.on tomato plants in Banjarbaru is 14 days with temperature range 22.6 ⁰C - 33.6 ⁰C.

Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) belongs to leaf vegetables with high economic value. However, with the reduction in agricultural land in urban areas because of the transfer of functions to infrastructure and buildings, the number of production has also been reduced, so that the innovation of suitable crop cultivation in cities is needed, one of which is hydroponics. Taking into account the factors of fertilizer prices and urban household waste, water-washed household rice wastes were then raised and banana stumps and chicken manure were combined to become a solution of liquid organic fertilizer which is expected to be an alternative to AB mix fertilizer. This study aims to determine the response of lettuce plants to the administration of LOF and find out the best composition of LOF on lettuce growth. This research was conducted from July to October 2018 in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lambung Mangkurat, Banjarbaru. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) of one factor, namely the treatment of the composition of ppm LOF. The results showed that LOF only had a significant effect on wet weight. The best LOF composition in increasing plant wet weight is LOF 450 ppm.

Abstract

The study aims to find out the effect of interaction between Trichokompos applications with POC-plus on the intensity of disease attack and green bean plant growth and to find out the Trichokompos dose and the best POC-plus application interval in suppressing disease attacks and increasing green  bean plant growth and to find out the best dose of Trichokompos in suppressing disease attacks and increasing green bean plant growth and to find out the best POC-plus application interval in suppressing disease attacks and increasing green bean. This design of research uses a two-factor randomized design of groups (RAK). First factor is Trichokompos (T) with 3  which Taraf is 0 tons/ha Trichokompos, 5 tons/ha Trichokompos and 10 tons/ha Trichokompos and second factor is POC-plus application (P) with 4 which Taraf  is 0 times POC-plus application,  2 times POC-plus, 3 times POC-plus application, 4 times POC-plus application which is repeated3 times. Research result shows that the effect of Trichokompos interaction and POC-plus application exerts an influence on the growth of the number of 15 hst age leaves whereas the influence of single factor Trichokompos is present in the high variable of 45 hst age plant, the number of leaves ages 15 hst and 30 hst, age leaf width 30 hst and 45 hst. But on the Trichokompos of POC-plus applications exert no influence on plant high growth, leaf count and leaf width as well as disease attack.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Bacillus thuringiensis on the predator and parasitoid populations of mustard greens and to identify species of predators and parasitoids in Bacillus thuringiensis treated sauce. This study used a single factor Randomized Block Design with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment consists of a). Control (water) b). Bacillus thuringiensis solution (2cc / l water) c). Bacillus thuringiensis solution (4 cc / l water) d). Bacillus thuringiensis solution (6 cc / l water) e) Bacillus thuringiensis solution (8 cc / l water). The results showed that the administration of Bacillus thuringiensis did not affect the predation of trapped predator and parasitoid populations, and found 12 species of predators consisting of 3 ordo of Arachnida, Coleoptera, Orthoptera, and parasitoid species of 8 species from Hymenoptera ordo.

Abstract

The research, entitled influence of the media mix towards growth and production of cauliflower (Brasicca olerace L.) have been implemented in March until may 2017 on the field of Lambung Mangkurat, Agriculture Faculty. The experimental design used a random complete design (RAL) with 5 treatment M0 = (control) 8 kilogram soil + NPK, M1 = (7.5 kilogram soil + 0.5 kilogram manure + NPK) M2 = (7 kilogram soil + 0.5 kilogram sand + 0.5 kilogram manure + NPK), M3 = (7 kilogram soil + 0.5 kilogram chaff + 0.5 kilogram manure + NPK), M4 = (7 kilogram soil + 0.5 kilogram chaff ash + 0.5 kilogram manure + NPK). The treatment has 4 replication and 20 units experiment. Observations include the increase of leaves number, early flower emergence, cabbage flower diameter, cabbage flower wet weight. Results show media mixture has influence on plant growth and the production of cauliflower. Soil mixture, chicken manure, NPK get the chaff or ash gives growth and production of cauliflower the best compared to other mixture media.

Abstract

Cayenne pepper by including the horticulture and fruit very popular community.The research was carried out in a site faculty agriculture, Kel. Big river, Kec .Banjarbaru south in July 2018 - November 2018. Research in flats in the design environmental factors random complete singular to 6 standard 4 times test. Treatment consisting of : without fertilizer (s0), 100 % chicken cages (s1), 75 % chicken cages + 25 % bokashi is siam weed (s2), 50 % chicken cages + 50 % bokashi is siam weed (s3), 25 % chicken cages + 75 bokashi is siam weed (s4), 100 % bokashi is siam weed (s5).The results showed the subtitusi manure chicken + bokashi kirinyuh influential real against tall plant at the age of 42 days.Trunk diameter at the age of 28 days, 35 day, 42 days, flowering age, the number of fruit per plants, heavy 100 seeds, the yield of fruit per plants and the per hectare. But it does not affect tall plant at the age of 14 days, 21 days, 28 days, 35 day, trunk diameter at the age of 14 ha

Abstract

Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) or Rhizobacteria Plant Growth Boosters (RPPT) are non-pathogenic soil microbes found in plant roots that can increase plant growth and stimulate plant growth, PGPR's role in increasing growth and production, especially plant germination is the ability PGPR in synthesizing growth hormones and can provide protection against pathogens that attack plants so it is very good to be applied to a variety of plants. One of them is the banjar orange which is a typical fruit of South Kalimantan which has polyembryony seeds which are several embryos in one seed. Efforts in developing the productivity of banjar siam citrus cultivation are using PGPR. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of PGPR concentrations in spurring the germination of polyembryony seeds in banjar siam beans and to determine the best PGPR concentrations in stimulating the germination of polyembryony seeds in banjar siam seeds. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of a single factor with six replications and five treatments namely P0 (concentration without PGPR), P1 (PGPR concentration 15ml.1-1), P2 (PGPR concentration 30ml.1-1), P3 (PGPR concentration 45ml.1-1), and P4 (PGPR concentration 60ml.1-1). This research was conducted at the Production Laboratory and Integrated Laboratory of Agroecotechnology Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru. The research lasted for two months, starting from April to May 2019. The results showed that the application of PGPR concentrations had an effect on spurring the germination of polyembryony seeds on Banjar siam beans at the age of 7 days and 14 days, but the treatment had no effect on the germination of polyembryony seeds at the age of 21 HST, percentage of germination age 7 HST, 14 HST, and 21 HST, the speed of germination either normally or polyembryony, germination length, number of germination, and root length. The best concentration of PGPR in stimulating polyembryony germination in banjar siam seeds is in the control treatment or P0 (concentration without PGPR) at the age of 7 HST and 14 HST.
