Abstract

Private Universities (PTS) are an option to continue post-graduate education, especially in the city of Medan. Quality private universities are very influential in carrying out education. In order to be easy to compete in the wrong world of work such as accepting new workers and especially in increasing career paths, PTS accreditation is very influential in the world of work as one of the requirements for evaluating job application administration files because a good PTS must have good accreditation. Determining PTS in this Medan city is not easy, because there are many PTS in this Medan city. There are too many private universities in existence, making it difficult to choose PTS manually, and the results of the selection are sometimes inaccurate and become a problem in selecting the best PTS. Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that can assist a person in making accurate and targeted decisions. The method used in this Decision Support System uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This method was chosen as one of the best alternatives because it is able to find and select which are the best private universities based on the specified criteria.

Abstract

The circulation of drugs for the body's diet program process, is very much, be it chemical diet drugs, or herbal drugs. Chemical drugs are very much in demand by everyone, because the process is very fast, without thinking about the side effects they cause. As a result of consuming these chemical drugs can cause the immune system to become weak, slow down the body's metabolism, can be poisoned, can even result in death, while those who consume herbal medicines are very few, because the reactions in the process are so slow, and take a long time. For this reason, the author wants to conclude how to choose the right diet medicine for a healthy body diet (Syamsuni, 2006). Based on the problems and descriptions in the diet program above, the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method is used to assist the process of selecting the right herbal medicine. This method was chosen because it has a way to overcome problems in selecting herbal medicines for the right diet, so that the results given are more accurate. Thus, it can provide a positive response for every consumer in consuming herbal medicines to meet the dietary needs of their lives.

Abstract

Along with the development of development in West Bogor subdistrict, there will be environmental noise that comes from these activities. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment No. 48 of 1996, noise is unwanted sound from a business or activity in a certain level and time that can cause human health problems and environmental comfort. Geographical Information System (GIS) is a computer-based system that has the ability to handle geographic reference data to enter, process and produce data so that it can be used as a reference in making decisions in planning. Noise measurements use a Sound Level Meter for 10 (ten) minutes for each measurement and GPS to determine the position of the location coordinates. The purpose of this study is to map the contours and distribution of noise levels and design a webgis-based noise information system in West Bogor subdistrict, Bogor City. To create a noise distribution level map using Surfer software using the kriging and Arcgis methods. Based on the measurement results, the value of the noise level ranges from 50 dB - 70 dB, because it is on the main road and comes from transportation modes. Noise information will be made into webgis display.

Abstract

Slow or lag computer problems can be caused by overheating of computer hardware such as the processor, if the computer overheats it will reduce the performance of the processor performance. In general, computers are equipped with coolers such as air cooling to avoid overheating, but for heavy and intensive work, air cooling is still not effective in cooling computer processors, so in this study an automatic computer cooling device was created that was effective in cooling computers. This tool uses a peltier to cool the coolant that flows on the cold side of the peltier. To control the Peltier, fuzzy logic is applied to control the temperature of the computer processor. This fuzzy logic will be embedded into the microcontroller. Cold generated based on the information provided by the computer to the microcontroller via serial communication. Based on the benchmark test, the average Core1 Temperature is 26.75oC, Core2 Temperature is 25.25oC and Package Temperature is 29oC using water cooling Peltier with fuzzy logic, while with water cooling the average Core1 Temperature is 33.5oC, Core2 Temperature is 33oC and Package Temperature is 35.25oC and with The average water cooling radiator has a Core1 temperature of 32.25oC, a Core2 temperature of 31.5oC and a Package Temperature of 34.25oC before performing the benchmark test. When the benchmark test runs, the average Core1 Temperature is 52.25oC, Core2 Temperature is 51oC and Package Temperature is 54.25oC using water cooling Peltier with fuzzy logic, while with water cooling the average TemperatureCore1 is 65oC, Core2Temperature is 64.25oC and PackageTemp is 67.25oC as well as with water The average cooling radiator temperature is Core1 57oC, Core2 Temperature 59oC and Package Temperature 59.25oC with an average room temperature of 30oC during the test. Abstract

In a university, office stationery is needed to support the teaching and learning process, one of which is paper, markers, ink and so on. In determining the right strategy in terms of purchasing stationery, an effective analysis is needed, to reduce excessive spending. One way that can be done to order stationery is to use data mining techniques. The data mining technique used in this case is to use the Apriori algorithm. The a priori algorithm is one of the classical data mining algorithms. The a priori algorithm is used so that computers can learn association rules, look for patterns of relationships between one or more items in a dataset. This research was conducted by observing several research variables that are often considered by universities in ordering office stationery. (ATK). The results of this study are in the form of interesting patterns of data mining results which are important information to support ordering stationery

Abstract

Thyroid gland disease or what is called hyperthyroidism is a disease that is often found in the community. The body's need for thyroid hormone is needed to control body growth and process food metabolism into energy. An overactive thyroid gland produces thyroid hormone which causes high levels of thyroid hormone in the blood. This condition is known as hyperthyroidism. In the medical world, to be able to diagnose hyperthyroidism is difficult, because the symptoms of hyperthyroidism vary greatly, depending on the rise and fall of thyroid hormones. From the above problems, a technology utilization is needed to reduce each problem and implement it into an expert system. An expert system is a branch of artificial intelligence that uses special knowledge/knowledge to solve problems at the human expert/expert level. Expert systems have been developed in various sciences, one of which is in the field of medicine to diagnose diseases. The expert system used to determine the diagnosis of the disease will help confirm the diagnosis and provide advice and therapy in the treatment of the disease. The test results "Expert System Diagnosing Hyperthyroid Disease Using the Certainty Factor Method" show that this expert system can diagnose hyperthyroidism according to the answers given by the user with an accuracy value of 100%.
