Abstract

Potato seed shop CV. ASAP sells various types of potato seeds which are quite trusted by potato farmers. The payment methods used so far are cash and credit payments, but the shop owner never has a balanced stock so that customer demand is always not in accordance with the stock of seeds, resulting in the shop is at a loss. Based on the problems experienced by potato farmers, it is necessary to group potato seed sales data using the DBSCAN clustering algorithm. The DBSCAN algorithm groups sales data into several cluster groups based on epsilon values and minimal points, besides that this algorithm can detect noise in data grouping so that the grouping results obtained are better than other algorithms. The purpose of this study was to apply the DBSCAN algorithm to potato seedling sales data to obtain results in knowing the types of potato seeds that were most purchased by customers from potato seed sales with cash payment methods and credit payments. The results of the application of the DBSCAN algorithm found that the most purchased by customers using the cash payment method were the type of spread seeds, class D potato seeds, class A potato seeds, and class C potato seeds with the test value of epsilon 1,2 and Minimum points 1 while the sale of seeds Potatoes, the most purchased by a customer using credit payment method are the type of potato produced by class C and potato spread seeds with the test value of Epsilon 2 and Minimum points 1.

Abstract

Technological developments have made it easy for the distribution of digital data (such as text, images, audio, and video) both with disk media and through internet media. On the other hand, this convenience can cause problems with copyright protection. One technique to overcome this problem is to insert a sign (watermark) as proof of ownership into digital data known as watermarking. Watermarks can be inserted into the spatial domain or the frequency domain. In general, watermarking in the frequency domain is more resistant to attacks than watermarking in the spatial domain. The watermarking method used in this study uses a transformation domain, namely Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). Tests used to provide a blurring effect). Where the technique using Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is generally inserted into singular values based on the consideration that the singular value will not experience significant changes if there is a slight disturbance in the image.

Abstract

Ultrasound images are captured using high-frequency sound waves to create images with dark and bright spots throughout the subject. In this case, the resulting image will look blurry and some blobs will cause less information on the image. Degraded image quality due to noise. Noise can be caused by physical interference in the acquisition tool or by deliberate mishandling. Due to these problems, there is a need for a system that can enhance ultrasound images by minimizing existing noise. However, many methods have been developed to perform image enhancement by removing noise, which makes one method confusing with which method to use. Therefore, in this study, different methods for removing noise in ultrasound images, such as Gaussian filtering, mean and median, were compared to determine which method is better. The comparison of the three methods is based on PSNR and MSE values. Applied research results show that the median filtering method outperforms Gaussian and Mean methods in reducing noise in USG images to 60%.

Abstract

The primary purpose of this innovation is to prevent equipment specification errors. This innovation is conducted by pouring the contents of the specification into a QR code, where the data will be stored in the database. The database for this research uses google drive media. We carried it out using a direct field survey method. The results showed that the specifications of equipment are easily damaged, if it is poured into written form on a nameplate that uses iron material. Further, it is easy to cause corrosion which will cause data errors when an audit will be carried out or when replacing the equipment. This innovation utilizing QR codes provides a breakthrough to validate equipment specifications.

Abstract

In this study describes a circuit to detect the location of a fault line short 1 phase network. The single power supply that emits a voltage of 12 V will be converted into 2 voltage sources, namely voltage (+) and voltage (-). This voltage is used to supply a parallel resistance circuit which functions to find the difference in voltage to be measured. The difference in voltage is sent to the op amp. The op amp used is IC TL084 CN which has 4 op amps and only 1 op amp is used. After outputting the voltage from the op amp, it is sent to the interface (ADC). The signal emitted by the op amp is still an analog signal. While we use a PC that can only receive digital signals. So we need a series of interfaces (ADC) so that the PC can receive signals from the circuit. The cable used to send the signal uses an RS 232 cable or a serial USB cable. After the PC receives the signal via a serial USB cable, the signal is processed in Visual Basic 6.0. Before testing the tool, calibration is carried out first so that the resulting data results are more accurate which will be displayed in Visual Basic 6.0

Abstract

Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) is a proposed maintenance program based on a decision to collect data from factory condition measurements. CBM is an attempt to save money by carrying out essential inspections only when something odd happens in production. Data acquisition (information gathering) refers to the process of capturing and storing data or information that is useful for CBM purposes during the data acquisition (information gathering) stage. This is the most basic step in implementing a CBM program to identify and predict equipment failures. This study aims to see Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) level 1 on substation equipment. CBM applications are used to streamline the storage and monitoring of inspection data equipment by observing machine/work equipment parameters, such as vibration measurement, oil level, temperature, pressure, flow and ultrasonic flow detectors. The research approach used in this study consisted of three steps, namely literature review, testing, and observation by processing data using the mean life Calculator (LM). There are two types of treatment and condition data collected in the CBM program. Based on the results of monitoring with CBM at the PT PLN Persero Berastagi substation, incident data consists of information about what happened (damage, installation, inspection, etc.) and what has been done (repair, prevention, oil change, etc.). ) in less than a month.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important part for the growth and development of a company. A company can develop well, of course, it is influenced by the quality of human resources, which in this case are employees who work in the company. Determination of the best employees is done not only by direct appointment by the leader or manager, but a company must conduct a performance assessment that has been carried out by its employees within a certain period of time, and of course there will be a reward for the success that has been achieved by its employees. The decision support system for determining the best employees is carried out using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the weight of each criterion, to rank alternatives in the form of employee data. This research produces a decision support system that can recommend the best employees at PT. Medisafe Technologies based on the criteria that have been set by the AHP method.

Abstract

An electrostatic precipitator is a technology that removes residual ash from burning before being released into the atmosphere. The ionization process occurs on to flue gas inside electrostatic precipitator which then collected by collecting plate. Flue gas ionization is one thing that affects the efficiency of an electrostatic precipitator. The purpose of this research was to understand the effect of an overhaul on the efficiency calculation of electrostatic precipitator in Banten 3 Lontar OMU Power Plant. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The data source used is the performance test inspection report data as well as technical data on unit 2 electrostatic precipitator obtained from PLTU Pangkalan Susu Lontar Power Plant. Data will be analyzed based on the calculation of total efficiency and the inspections into the electrostatic precipitator which affect voltage efficiency. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, the total efficiency of the electrostatic precipitator and an increase in voltage applied into discharge electrode will increase dust removal of electrostatic precipitator’s efficiency. Based on inspection data of unit 2 electrostatic precipitator of PLTU Pangkalan Susu Lontar Power Plant, overhaul tends to results in increasing voltage value from 36.25 kV into 50.06 kV. The value of the total efficiency of unit 2 electrostatic precipitator after the overhaul is 76%.
