Abstract

At this time digital image used by a lot of people to capture the moment or other important things, digital image itself is the result of shooting with a digital camera, although today's digital cameras are already equipped with features that support the results of the picture, but not all digital image that is produced in accordance with our wishes, it happens because of a problem on the quality of the image, situation and condition at the time of the shooting process the image will affect on the quality of the image causes the image results to be bright or dark. Then from that needed improvement of the quality of the image so that the image that is produced in accordance with our wishes, in this study, the methods used in improving the quality of image is using the method of Multiscale Retinex and Median Filters. The process of Multiscale Retinex will produce the image of a more bright compared to the original image that minimal light intensity, while the Median filter will produce a clearer image because it can reduce the noise/noise in the image, the parameters used in this study is Histogram of some data that has been researched histogram chart shows the value of the intensity of the pixel average is close to zero (0) after processed by the method of Multiscale Retinex and the Median Fiter value of the intensity of the pixel average show a change of the charts is approaching 250 which indicates an increase in the brightness of the digital image brighter.

Abstract

The development of SIMPPM is indispensable for the development of an information system for the Research and Community Service Institute. Information system development will be developed through the web. Currently, LPPM has made the system which will continue to be developed according to the needs and will be integrated with the system at the University. The research object is the LPPM Unimed information system. The research method used was ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the first thing to do was to conduct a needs analysis about the research and service process that switched from manual to IT-based. After finding out what are the requirements for the process of proposal, assessment, monitoring and evaluation to the final report, a model is designed in the system to address the needs of the research and community service implementation process. Then the initial design, a storyboard is developed so that researchers, reviewers and admins can carry out all the processes in the SIMPPM page. The implementation of the system is conducted by researchers/lecturers, by conducting trials and making improvements to the results of the main trials to involve a wider audience. From the test results, the evaluation of user satisfaction is improving than the conventional way. The results of this study resulted a website in the form of SIMPPM which is intended for prospective researchers and civil servants, operators and reviewers who will carry out the process of receiving proposals, selection to reporting. This study provides an innovation in the LPPM information system. This study makes the development of an information system web based so that it can be used independently and anywhere.

Abstract

In Indonesia, air pollution is a very concern, many risks are resulting from air pollution, including the risk of blood cancer. But many people are not aware of this as a result, many are affected by respiratory infections, asthma, and lung cancer due to air pollution. Along with technological developments, a new concept emerged, namely the Internet of things, from the development of the Internet of Things, which resulted in many discoveries, one of which was the Smart Environment. With Smart Environment we can monitor the quality level of an environment, one of which is air quality. The amount of information related to air pollution is the reason for the author to make a tool that uses the Nodemcu microcontroller-based MQ7 sensor which is expected to help reduce the risk generated from air pollution, especially carbon monoxide (CO). This tool also applies the concept of the internet of things so that the results of sensor readings can be monitored online from anywhere and anytime in realtime. There is a classification of air pollution levels in this tool including healthy air, unhealthy air, and dangerous air, healthy air is in the value range 0-100 PPM, unhealthy air is in the value range of 100-200 PPM, and dangerous air is in the value range> 200 PPM. Fuzzy logic was chosen as the method in this research because this method is suitable for most real-time problems such as making decisions to determine the level of air pollution that is uncertain and changing. The results of the MQ7 sensor detection of carbon monoxide are monitored through the Indonesian-made Internet of Things platform, Antares.id.

Abstract

SD Negeri 106184 Sekip is one of the public elementary schools in Lubuk Pakam, Deli Serdang Regency. The graduation rate is one of the main problems in an elementary school. The higher the graduation rate of students at an educational institution, the more it will raise the popularity of the school. Likewise, if there is a decrease in the graduation rate, the school will experience a decline in popularity, thus allowing a decrease in applicants / prospective students to enter the school in the following years. This of course raises concerns on the school side. Data mining is intended to provide a solution so that the school knows the most dominant factors affecting the graduation rate. For this reason, the authors are interested in raising this problem into a thesis research entitled "Application of Data Mining for student data processing using the Decision Tree Study Case SDN 106184 Sekip method". The purpose of this study was to determine which factors were most dominant in influencing a student's passing rate, so that in the future, it is hoped that the school will be able to increase student graduation rates in the following years.

Abstract

The election of the Head of the Study Program is very important to consider the maximum results of services to students. In the process of selecting the Head of the Study Program at STMIK Pelita Nusantara, they usually directly appoint those who occupy the position with several elements. Determination of the Head of the Study Program is very necessary by making some general and specific criteria and expertise in their fields. The system that is needed is the Decision Support System for the Head of Study Program Decision. Abstract

Determination of outstanding students at school is very important to provide suggestions for students at SMK Karya Serdang Lubuk Pakam. However, in determining student achievement, it is necessary to look at several criteria and accurate assessments, to provide maximum results. SMK Karya Serdang Lubuk Pakam in determining outstanding students has not used a system, so it needs a decision support system in determining outstanding students. The method used in determining outstanding students is the Profile Matching Method. The variables determined in this study are 1) Knowledge. 2) Personality. 3) Extracurricular This system is built by applying the web-based Profile Matching method and MySQL as the database. With the application of the Profile Matching method in determining outstanding students at SMK Karya Serdang Lubuk Pakam from the 20 predetermined candidates, the best student is Putri with a score of 2.16.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence is an effort to transfer intelligence that is added to a system that can be regulated in a scientific context or can be called artificial intelligence so that machines (computers) can do work as humans can do. Lung disease is a condition in which the lungs cannot function normally. Some of the most common include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, tuberculosis, and lung cancer. The Dempster-Shafer method was first introduced by Dempster, who experimented with uncertainty models with a range of probabilities rather than a single probability. Application of the Dempster-Shafer method to diagnose lung disease, it can be concluded that inference techniques are easy to use in designing expert systems to get a conclusion but, it has weaknesses in finding these conclusions if the system has a large enough knowledge base and this will be very much use time and hinder the consultation process.

Abstract

Implementation of information system of academic especially in scheduling and assessment for online thesis defense is needed. This is because the implementation of thesis defense must be carried out online to avoid the possibility of spreading Covid-19. Therefore, The aims of this study to develop web-based information system for the thesis defense schedule and assessment. The development of information systems uses the waterfall model which consists of 5 steps are user requirement, system design, development, testing, and maintenance. The result of implementation show that web-based information system for the thesis defense schedule and assessment running well according to purpose and need assessment. The information system also can used for interaction between lecturers and students as long as the thesis process and defense don’t need to be done offline.

Abstract

Today, along with the times, which are supported by the rapid development of technology, all aspects of life cannot be separated from the influence of technology. The research was conducted to try to conduct research with the aim of examining more deeply what ingredients can be said to be harmful in food, how the performance of BBPOM in determining these hazardous materials, and how BBPOM will follow up if it has been found that some foods containing hazardous ingredients have been found. and what steps are taken to minimize the use of these hazardous materials in order to maintain the health of consumers. In drawing conclusions in expert systems, Forward Chaining and Backward Chaining are generally used. However, with the use of these two reasons, it is not possible to determine the value of confidence in the hypothesis. Based on the research conducted, it was found several things that can be observed in the development of uncertainty consultation media in the identification of formalin and borax in meatballs, namely the following, including the existence of an expert system with the certainty factor method, so that people can find out the characteristics of formalin meatballs without meeting directly with expert doctors or the expert. Likewise for designing expert system applications to identify food hazards in Formalin and Borax can use Visual Studio 2010 Applications Based on the research conducted, it was found several things that can be observed in the development of uncertainty consultation media in the identification of formalin and borax in meatballs, namely the following, including the existence of an expert system with the certainty factor method, so that people can find out the characteristics of formalin meatballs without meeting directly with expert doctors or the expert.
